《Pied Piper | {K.NJ}》Chapter 25

Yoongi went back to Taehyung and apologised for his rash decision. He told him he would gladly accept the gift that he had prepared for him which made Taehyung happier than ever.
Yoongi was telling the truth when he said that he didn't know how to handle another living being but somehow he tried his best to make sure Jungkook was happy and healthy. And he was proud of himself whenever Jungkook grew taller and older or even just properly pronouncing his name.
Jungkook really loved it whenever Yoongi played the flute. Whenever Yoongi plays it, Jungkook would definitely find him somehow and plops himself near Yoongi. Soon, Yoongi made one similar to his and taught him how to play.
Still, he was a devil and had plenty of things in both of his hands that he couldn't spend much time with Jungkook. Jungkook didn't mind though. He loved the very little time that he get to spend with Yoongi.
And that was the first mistake. Gifts are supposed to be showered with affection and attention just like how they treat their owners. Without such support, the gifts had trouble growing up properly.
That was the reason why Jungkook grew slower than Namjoon. Namjoon, on the other hand, was taller and older than Jungkook. Yoongi felt bad whenever he saw the two boys together but Jungkook would make sure he didn't feel that way.
The two boys were different in a way, starting from their appearance to their personality. The two attended school and were always together whenever their owners were busy doing their duties.
Everything seemed to be going smoothly until Jungkook collapsed right before Yoongi's eyes. The boy was heating up and having difficulty breathing. It was as if his life span was shortening as every minute passed by.
Yoongi soon snapped out of reality when he received a notification that Jungkook was going to die soon. Never having received affection and warmth in his entire life, Yoongi was too obsessed with the new living being that he wasn't willing to let go. And he was willing to do anything to keep the boy with him.
And in the end, he used his powers to extend Jungkook's life span.
Jungkook grew up way faster than expected. He grew taller and much older. The most important thing to Yoongi was that he grew up healthy.
Jungkook and Namjoon attended school together. It was there where they learnt about arts. Namjoon was fond of painting and so was Jungkook but Jungkook only painted relating to Yoongi. The person he looked up to.
Disaster happened when Namjoon and Jungkook were left alone for the first time ever since the incident. That was when Yoongi learnt that he had made a mistake. Due to the sudden change in fate and rapid change in hormones, Jungkook became a mad person who cannot control his mind whenever he was alone with Namjoon. He ended up attacking the poor boy.

It occured several times and Yoongi made sure to watch him but it only became worse. It became so obvious that the news reached to Taehyung's ears.
Taehyung being the fair Guardian of fate and life couldn't accept what Yoongi had done. So, he had no choice but to punish him. The problem was that Yoongi was already being punished for what he had done.
It was that night when Seokjin went to Hoseok, leaving the two alone. Yoongi rushed back the moment Taehyung informed him.
Namjoon was awaken from his sleep by the sudden smashing of things from downstairs. He thought he was still half-asleep but he was on his toes when he heard a loud bang again.
He quickly ran downstairs and saw Jungkook throwing things away and breaking his own paintings. The place was a mess. He headed over and tried to stop him by pulling him away from the scene but he was pushed away by force.
Namjoon ended up dropping onto the floor and Jungkook turned into his direction. He saw bloodlust in the younger's eyes. Jungkook moves towards him and pounced onto him. He gripped onto his neck, choking him in the process. Namjoon was gasping for air and he knew he would pass out soon. He let his hand ran around the floor and he felt something in his palm. It was a broken wood from the canvas. He quickly grabbed it and hit Jungkook's head with it.
Jungkook fell back and winced in pain while holding his head. Namjoon took the opportunity to quickly run out of the room but Jungkook had grabbed his leg, making him trip.
Namjoon tried to kick him to escape but it didn't work. Jungkook was stronger than him and he was pinned on the floor. This time, Jungkook was holding the broken wood and raising it up to hit Namjoon when Namjoon used all his force to push him away and quickly grabbed anything and did something to protect himself.
Jungkook went cold and sat there, holding his stomach with his hand. Namjoon stared at the younger boy and it took a while for his brain to process what had happened until he saw blood in Jungkook's hands. He panicked and rushed beside Jungkook. He had stabbed him with the scissors that was on the floor.
"Jungkook!"
Namjoon was pushed to the side by Yoongi who had just arrived to the scene. Yoongi knelt down before Jungkook and gasped at the sight.
"Hyung, I can explain. I didn't mean it."
Yoongi glared at him and Namjoon went quiet as he saw his cold eyes shimmer in gold.

Jungkook was gasping for air and his eyes were hooded. He was turning pale and his skin felt cold like ice.
"Jungkook. Speak to me!" Yoongi tried to make sure Jungkook stayed awake. It wasn't a good idea for the boy to go to sleep.
"Yoongi..." Jungkook used his very last strength to touch his owner's cheeks and looked at him fondly, "I'm thankful for the life you gave me. I love you."
His hands dropped and his eyes slowly closed. Yoongi stared at the cold body in his arms, still shocked from what had happened. Anger took over him and he ended up casting a curse on Namjoon without even thinking properly.
He regretted everything that happened that night. He blamed himself for everything that had happened. The problem was that he was not in the right mind when he cursed Namjoon so he didn't know how to break it. He always tried to figure out a way to break the curse.
Taehyung met him several days after Jungkook's death. He was told that Jungkook had been sent to the other world and was living properly. Only then, Yoongi was back in his right mental state.

"So that was what happened? I really didn't expect that," you said as you listened to Namjoon.
"I know. I should have kind of tried to buy some time instead of doing that. I ended up killing a Brother."
"It's not like you had a choice. Everything will be fine. Jungkook was really doing fine and he did say he will meet Min soon."
You held Namjoon's hand and smiled. He smiled back at you and nodded his head in agreement.
Soon, Min and Seokjin came back with the painting. Namjoon had the flute ready in his hand. Min studied the painting for a while and took a deep breath before tearing it apart.
Just like Jungkook said, there was a blue butterfly crystal. Min took it out and grabbed the flute from Namjoon. As Jungkook had instructed, he placed the crystal over the carving and blue light shone from the flute.
The light became brighter and the flute floated in the sky. Namjoon's heart started beating faster and he gasped due to the sudden change in his heart rate. You looked at him worriedly and placed your hand on his back. He glanced at you and smiled, telling you he's fine.
Soon, the light went away and the flute dropped back onto Min's hands. You noticed the carving on the flute was gone and the 'M' turned into 'YG'.
"How do you feel, child?" he asked Namjoon.
"Better than ever," he looked at you and held your hand tightly. Your smile grew bigger and you pulled him into a hug, feeling thankful that everything is over.
••••••••••••••••••<>••••••••••••••••••
Seokjin and Min gave the two of you some time alone. Namjoon placed your head on his shoulder and wrapped his arm around your shoulder.
"I don't have a flute anymore. You don't have to suffer anymore."
You looked up at his face and poked his cheek, gaining his attention.
"And what are you trying to say?"
"You know... I still haven't receive an answer yet."
You lifted your head and furrowed your eyebrows as you studied his face.
"What are you talking about?"
You grew suspicious as a sly grin formed on his face. He suddenly pecked you on the lips, making you blush really hard.
"I still want to hear the three words."
You covered your face using your hand shyly.
"Gosh you are too much."
"Why? There's nothing wrong with wanting to hear it. It's always me saying it."
You giggled and shook your head teasingly. You stuck your tongue out and stood up to go outside.
"You can't do that!" He grumbled and started chasing you as you laughed and ran away.
He managed to catch up with you soon after and hugged you tightly around your waist from the back so that you couldn't escape. He lifted you and twirled you around. You giggled and raised your hand up in surrender.
"Don't even think about escaping," he whispered into your ear and put you down.
You couldn't stop laughing and it took you a while to calm down. He looked at you with much anticipation and you couldn't help but find him adorable. Your heart raced as you looked at him. You tiptoed and placed your lips on his. He pulled you closer and deepened the kiss. You broke the kiss and smiled at him.
"I love you."
After hearing the words he wanted to, he grabbed you and twirled you around again. You laughed and punched him lightly on his shoulder so that he put you down. He grinned and hugged you.
"So do I, little kitten."
He grinned and hugged you.
"We are soulmates after all."

He has different set of values and in some cases lacks common sense, but as being the one who get the job done by any means necessary was one of the reasons to his fame, or infamy, depending on who you would ask. It's year 2026, and the third world war will soon commence, but before that Pyro has a target to eliminate... or two. *** As I am new to writing and not a native english speaker, there is bound to be mistakes, not critical though mind you. Oh and comedy is there just bacause I will try to make MC funny... and happy-go-lucky... probably... oh and he will be/is OP... There's no point in weaklings, right?

YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!

Humans Are Evil (completed)
A world of magic, where empires rise and fall, and where civilization is never safe from the perpetual menace of the monsters that roam the land. In this volatile landscape Fera is reborn and must adapt to this new and ever-changing world. She will grasp at whatever opportunities she finds to escape her unfortunate birth as an orphan. Either excelling, or wallowing in self-pity, Fera will question if this world of magic was as fantastical as she initially thought. Note: The story is technically a litRPG, but much less like a game and more akin to real life, for example obtaining a class does not give free skills to the individual, it’s the other way around! Skills are what unlock your class, so an individual who learns magic skills will unlock mage classes, classes then provide passive buffs and stats, in my opinion this makes everything feel more earned so that the power levels in the world are more natural, rather than every single random person being a powerhouse.
