Recap:

Fear crossed her face for a brief second, but before anyone of us could run and protect Piper...

We heard a sickening crack, and heard a thud, as someone fell to the ground...

Piper's pov:

I was just there in shock. I couldn't believe what the heck just happened. I saw that Josh really was going to hit me. Me! The same person he was confessing his love to, literally minutes ago.

I was pretty nervous, Josh was taller than me, and did go to the gym, so he probably would've knocked me out cold with one punch. But seeing him actually want to hit me, I felt anger bubbling in my chest.

I saw A troupe begin to step forward simultaneously, in the corner of my eyes, but I couldn't focus on them.

Just as he moved his fist to hit me, I slightly panicked, and swiftly connected my fist with his nose.

There really was a sickening crack and blood started pouring out as he fell on his knees to the ground, in pain. I stepped back, still trying to register what I just did, as Josh whimpered and muttered curses to himself.

I locked eyes with Finn for a brief second before he rushed over to me and spun me in his arms. He gave me a small kiss and hugged me. "I'm so proud of you, Peaches! I thought for a moment that he really did hit you! I would've killed him." Finn said, happily, while I giggled, almost forgetting about the fact that Josh was kneeling right there.

A troupe and Tiana swarmed around me and hugged me while praising me on my strength and confidence and telling me how proud they were of me.

Josh growled, loudly as we all parted from our group hug. "You! Are going to regret that! I will get you for this Piper Flanagan, one way or another! If it's the last thing I do!" He yelled furiously.

Finn shoved him back, just hard enough to make Josh stumble a bit, before saying, "You'll have to get through me first...". Tiana stepped forward, saying, "And me..", before Amy stepped out and said the same thing. Then Henry, Ozzy, Kenzie and all of A troupe! These guys really were my family.

Josh muttered to himself, as he grabbed some more napkins to wipe his bloodied and probably broken nose, and then left quickly.

We all high fived, joyful that we got rid of this idiot, before we all bought drinks and smoothies to carry on our small celebration. "You know what guys, let's take this party to my place." I said, happily, as the others, apart from Tiana and Amy who were already coming, texted their parents to let them know the change of plans. I called my mum to ask if A troupe could come over, because it was more likely that my dad would say yes, but he didn't answer the phone as he was at work, so plan B, mum.

"Hey mum! I love you so much, you know that? I've always been such a great daughter, don't tell the others but my mother's day gifts blew the other ones right out of the water!" I said, smiling to myself. "Pipes, what do you want?" My mother asked, knowingly. I could practically hear her smirking. "Umm.. well.. since you asked... Can A troupe come over tonight, I know its last minute but-", I started. "Nope, no way! Sorry Pipes, dear, but you know my rule: you want people to come over, tell me in advance, at least 24 hours in advance." She stated. "But mum-" i began to plead. "Sorry Pipes, but if you really want them to come over, ask James. I'm sure he and Riley wouldn't mind!" My mum reminded.

I quickly thanked her and said goodbye before dialing James' number. After explaining the ENTIRE situation, from Elliot to Josh to A troupe to our celebration and mum saying no, he happily said yes, and so did Riley. I knew these guys wouldn't turn down a hang out with A troupe, should've thought of asking them sooner!

I told everyone that we were instead going to go to James and Riley's place, and I texted Richelle to let her know of the change in location.

Half an hour later, we finished our drinks and made it to James and Riley's house, as they welcomed us in happily with drinks and snacks. Richelle arrived too and we all just chilled and talked with our food. We watched a couple of movies, and decided to play a game of truth or dare.

What?! It's a traditional TNS game to play at hangouts, don't judge!

So of course, Richelle being Richelle, she went first. "Kenzie, truth or dare?". "Dare, duh!", Kenzie replied, meeting Richelle'sstern and serious stare. "Okay, Kenzie, I dare you to.... prank call the pizza delivery guy!", she said while everyone started laughing, as Kenzie shrugged, determined to beat Richelle at her own game, and picked up the phone. "Hello, uncle Robert?!" She yelled. "Uhhh... nope, this is John's Pizza Palace.... may I take your order?" The guy said nervously. "No! You know you're not allowed pizza! Too much salt! Come to the hospital quickly! Auntie May's giving birth! Hurry!" She screamed, then she swiftly cut the call and threw the phone at Richelle, smiling at the accomplishment of her dare.

Rolling her eyes, Richelle said, "Alright, alright! Kenzie, your turn." She looked around and settled her eyes on Finn. "Okay Finn, truth or dare?", Finn confidently replied with, "Dare, obviously!", before laughing. "Okay, I dare you to kiss Piper!" She said, smugly. Finn and I looked at each other happily, because this probably would've happened anyways. I mean Finn and I kiss a lot. "Sure! Would've happened anyways!" He exclaimed, as we leaned in and kissed for at least 20 seconds while the girls, even Richelle, "Aww'd" and the boys gagged, apart from Henry, who liked kissing Amy and Kingston, who was getting an earful from Lily, until she punched his arm lightly to show that she was just kidding, and they burst out laughing.

This was so much fun! It was really late, almost midnight when everyone decided it was getting late and had to leave, as we all had rehearsal in the morning, and drove off to their own houses.

Except Finn, James said he could sleep over, only in the living room, on the couch, and I had to stay in my bedroom, with the door locked, I hope he was only joking though!

We cuddled up on the sofa, with my head on his chest and his arm around me, warmly, and we watched our favourite movie, Hotel Dystopia 2. Halfway through, James gave us popcorn, while Riley made kissy faces at us. Riley, you gotta love her!

Though I DID notice James glaring at Finn, probably for putting his arm around so tightly. When the movie ended, it was indeed well past midnight, so I decided to go to bed. "Heyy! Don't I get a kiss!" Finn exclaimed with mock sadness, while i laughed and hugged him. I didn't realise that James was standing in the doorway, from the kitchen watching what I was going to do. I kissed Finn, and closed my eyes, but as I should have predicted, we were interrupted.

"Piper Jade Flanagan! What do you think you are doing?!" He yelled, as I jumped apart from Finn. He smirked to himself knowing that he had succeeded in making me jump, as Riley patted his shoulder to calm him down. He smiled warmly at Riley before pointing me.

"You, kitchen, now!" Slightly amused and irritated I smiled at Finna and squeezed his hand and made my way to the kitchen, while I saw Riley silently apologising to me and Finn. I laughed but one look from James and I shut up. "Piper, what are doing, kissing this guy?! What did I tell you about dating?" He said. "I don't know, that I shouldn't?" I said, almost laughing at how serious he was.

What happened to 'don't even worry about it'?

"Exactly! But since you already decided you wanted to date Finn, I set rules and what are the rules?" He exclaimed. Sighing playfully, I said, "Ugh, no touching, no sleepovers without permission, no being in my bedroom with door closed, no being together in the middle of the night without permission, and definitely no kissing." He nodded, as I finished.

"Exactly, and you broke like all of them!" I opened my mouth to argue, but James interrupted me, "You know what, forget it, it's late, you're probably gonna tell me about how young I was when I had my first kiss and blah blah blah, but don't let it happen again! But if it does happen, it can't last for more than 3 seconds." He said, laughing as he remembered that 3 second kissing rule, West came up with.

Laughing, and shaking my head, I hugged him and gave him a kiss on the cheek before hugging and giving a kiss on the cheek for Riley too.

After I said goodnight to them AND told James that I will follow his rules, I went to Finn to iterate James' rules and he laughed before I gave him a kiss, making sure it was more than 3 seconds long (just to irritate James), then i went to bed.

Finn's pov:

So I was chilling on the sofa, getting comfortable. This sofa was nice! Very plush and soft, I should ask my mum to buy a couch just like this!

Anyways, i got bored, because i wanted to hang with Pipes but i think she was really tired, so she went straight to bed.

Feeling restless, I sat up and grabbed the remote, yup, you know why, Hotel Dystopia marathon! I found my way to the kitchen and grabbed two bags of popcorn because I love popcorn, I mean who doesn't?!

Just as I was going through the tv trying to find the movie, I heard someone coming down the stairs. At first I thought it was James but then I heard someone whisper, "Finn? Are you awake?" It was Piper! "Hey Pipes, I thought you were sleeping." I whispered back to her.

She smiled and sat down next to me. "I couldn't sleep and I wanted to hang with you." She replied. I had a brilliant idea, that I knew she'd love, "I know! Let's build a fort, here you can have this bag of popcorn and we can watch Hotel Dystopia, which was what I was just about to do." I suggested.

Her face lit up, as she agreed and we got building. I came up with the design of our fort with a bit of help from Piper, maybe if this dance thing doesn't work out, not only do I have a promising career in reporting but also in exterior design.

Like 10 minutes and so, so many pillows later, we finished and were cuddled up, nice and warm, starting our movie. Half way through, Piper fell asleep in my arms, so I turned off the tv and went to sleep too. I really do love her, she's especially adorable when sleeping!

James' pov:

It's early in the morning, and I know that Piper doesn't have to be at the studio until half nine, right now it 06:15am.

Knowing my little sister, her morning routine starts at around half 6 in the morning, so I at least get 15 minutes of extra peace, since Riley's also fast asleep.

I go downstairs and head straight for the kitchen, 'cus its bacon and eggs time! But then I realise, that as much as I don't like Finn DATING my baby sister, I should at least check on him. So I go into the living room and see a giant pillow fort and I've gotta say, whoever designed this, did a great job, the structure and all... nice!

But that feeling of admiration for Finn and his fort was short-lived when I noticed Piper asleep in HIS arms. I thought I told her about my rules! Rule number 4 states that there is no being together in the middle of the night without permission and I know that I didn't give permission- but maybe Riley did!

Whatever, this has to stop! Smirking to myself, I went to make Piper's favourite breakfast, cinnamon oatmeal, layered in fruit, and I waved it around the living room, to make sure they could smell it, and just as I thought, she stirred before abruptly sitting up.

"Is that...cinnamon oatmeal...and fruit?" She asked groggily, whilst yawning. "It's not for you, sorry baby sis!" I said. "What? Nooo! You know that's my favourite breakfast!" She whined, as I laughed.

I took her hand and dragged her to the kitchen. "Yeah and what was rule number 4 that you broke?" I questioned, waving the food in her face, while she scowled. "Sorry, but I got bored. We had a great time, we ate popcorn and watched Hotel Dystopia 2 but I think I fell asleep-" She started.

"Wait you guys watch Hotel Dystopia too?! I've been trying so hard, to get Riley to watch that with me, but she doesn't do horror films, apparently!" I said, shocked that these people really watch Hotel Dystopia!

I know Finn introduced the movie to Piper, because when I asked her to watch it, she shook her head and said it looked boring. At this point, Finn woke up, and hugged Piper, who hugged him back. They do look 'cute together ' as Riley always says, fine! I revoke my rules!

"Okay Pipes, I take back my rules. Just no funny business between the two of you." I said in surrender. "Thanks, James!" Piper said hugging me. "And Finn, keep your hands to yourself and if you break my sister's heart, I break you, understand?" I said to Finn, shaking his hand, with a bone-crushing grip. "Yes sir!" He said enthusiastically, not minding my python like grip. He seems nice and fun, but I'll be keeping my eye on him.

Piper's pov:

Today's a new day! The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, oh yeah and James took back his stupid rules. Richelle's going on her date today with Ozzy and I cannot wait. I have been shipping Richozzy since regionals!

Me and Finn got ready for today's rehearsal and after I finally convinced James to make us breakfast (I had the oatmeal and Finn had bacon and eggs, to which I stole some!), then we went out to get donuts on our way to the studio.

I would usually say no to donuts so early in the morning but I'm in a great mood, so why not?

Of course, good moods are always tested by life, because as me and Finn walked into the locker room, hand by hand, guess who I saw?! Elliot begging Richelle to take him back. She looked annoyed and very angry, but Elliot was not taking no for an answer.

I think something in Richelle finally snapped, because she shoved him backwards and out of her personal space, then yelled, "Elliot! I'm giving you three seconds to GET. OUT." She said, shaking from anger.

He crossed his arms and stared at her in the eye, "No.". She counted down from three, and when Elliot smugly smirked and didn't budge, she shrugged her shoulders and took a threatening step towards him.

Oh no.

She was going to blow. I instinctively stepped back and braced for impact, because this was soon to be a 'no hearing' zone as only the best of people couldn't witness one of Richelle's blow offs and survive with normal hearing.

Me and Finn were one of those people, and I cannot wait to hear Elliot get what has been coming for him for a long time now!

This was gonna be good!
