lena rarely comes to catco unless it's important. so when she came dressed up in a fancy dress, you thought something extreme was happening. however, whenever i talked to kara or james about it, they would just push it out of the conversation.

suddenly, lena started walking to me, maybe i got a promotion? probably not. "um, y/n, i came to ask you an important question," lena started, earning a raised an eyebrow from you, and a quick look to kara, "it's a very important question, so if you need to think it over, i'd like to ask you out on a date."

"wait- a date?" you asked, gulping anxiously, she wouldn't joke about stuff like this, right? "yeah, at this new place down the road from the coffee place we go to," she offered before nodding at my stunned expression before packing up.

you sighed and looked up at lena, "yes, i would love to go on a date with you."
