《Dr Luthor - Supergirl AU》Broken

Alex's POV
I carefully put a bandage over my broken nose to hold it in place as it healed. I could hear Lena and Kara fighting outside the bathroom as I cleaned myself up. I ran a finger over the cut on my chin and winced when it started to sting. I suddenly heard a bang, then a crash and I ran outside. Kara was on the floor next to a broken glass table.
"Are you okay?" I ran to her side and helped her up. "You aren't hurt?"
"I'm fine. I just slipped. We are fine now, really." She nodded at Lena and smiled.
"You sure? Everything is okay now?" I put a hand on Kara's shoulder and walked out when she nodded at me. Maggie was still waiting in the hallway for me. I just smiled and grabbed her hand, leading us to one of the empty hotel rooms so I could get my mind off what just happened.
Lena's POV
"You lied to your sister," I said, trying not to think about what I had just done.
"Only about you shoving me into the table." She let out a small giggle and it bewildered me how she could have a sense of humour at a time like this.
"So you do forgive me?"
"It will take some time to fully get over that you nearly killed Alex but she did overstep."
"How do you know?"
"I was listening at the door. She went too far and I am so sorry about all of that. She should have never brought up Lex and none of that was your fault. Honestly, I will have a talk with her and get her to own up. What she did was wrong."
"Kara, I hit her. She doesn't need to apologise, it was me who stepped far over the line."

"Question... What were you going to say when she assumed you were going to mention the Luthors?"
"When I tried to say 'Just because...' and your sister cut me off?"
"What were you really saying?"
"'Just because I'm dating your sister and you hate me for it.' Kara, I'm sorry that I would ever say that but I do believe she hates me." A tear rolled down my cheek and she pulled me in for a hug but I pulled away. Gently this time so I didn't push her into glass for the second time this afternoon.
"Lena, she would never hate you. She is just protective." I closed my eyes, not wanting to look into Kara's bright blue eyes again in case I broke down.
"I'm so sorry, baby." I looked into her eyes again and took in a shaky breath.
"It's okay." She leant in and this time I agreed.
We kissed for about ten seconds before she ripped off my shirt. I giggled when she traced my bra with her thumb and then took that off too. I did the same, taking off her shirt and leaving her in her bra. I kissed her again and gently moved us over to the couch, making sure to be careful not to hurt her again. I ran my hand over her cheek and told her to stay quiet. She agreed.
Kara's POV
I slowly opened my eyes and looked over at Lena. She had the sheets covering her body and it made me smile to finally have her back after all the fighting yesterday. She did overstep but so did Alex and I was going to talk to her about it today. It would be hard to get Alex not to kill Lena after the way she treated us.

"Kara? Are you okay? After last night I was worried you wouldn't wake up."
"Lena, it's a tiny bruise."
"You are a doctor, you should know that a bruise that big doesn't count as 'tiny'. It's also the wrong colour, you should get it checked."
"I am fine, Lena. Don't flatter yourself and think your shove hurt me that much."
"I just worry, that's all. I love you and couldn't bear to think that I..."
"Kara!" Alex's voice echoed through the room. My eyes widened and I jumped up, quickly finding a shirt to put on and cover the growing purple stain on my back. Just as I was pulling some pants on, my sister ran in and looked pale at what she saw.
"Hey, sis. Can I help you?" I said innocently. She just stared at me, then back at Lena. I tried my best to seem more natural than usual, probably failing and looking like a complete idiot.
"What. Did. You. Guys. DO?" She yelled. I flinched at the volume of her voice and she must have noticed this because she scoffed and walked away. I rolled my eyes and looked at Lena, who motioned for me to follow Alex.
I sighed and trudged out of the bedroom to find Alex standing in the kitchen with a knife and a look of complete anger.

Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel (An Irreverent Fanfiction)
Fates Parallel is a gripping cultivation story, following the adventures of a half-spirit girl with nothing as she grows both as a cultivator and as a person after arriving at the Grand Academy of Spiritual, Martial and Arcane Arts. It features fleshed-out, believable characters, wonderful world-building that informs the course of the plot, and girls who hold hands. Fates Parallel is a very good story, and you should read it! Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is a somewhat tongue-in-cheek look at this same world from a different angle, following a totally regular girl who brings bad luck with her wherever she goes. It features shallow, joke-name characters, a focus on the least interesting parts of a fantastic world, and girls who hold hands (potentially). Jingyi Bo is in Fates Parallel is an amazingly hilarious (so says me) fanfiction and you should read it! (This is a Totally Author Approved Spin-Off (Fanfiction) for Fates Parallel, which you can find in a number of places including here on RoyalRoad! Please do read it!)

To Blunt The Sharpest Claw
The Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels are a series of New Fable genre novels that involve cats and dogs and high adventure and romance and espionage and food-fights and hotels and explosions and car chases. With large casts, exotic locations and an absurdity only possible in the absence of human characters, the Velvet Paw of Asquith Novels blend Wind in the Willows with James Bond, though with more cafes and fewer badgers. This submission is the third title in its Morigan Trilogy, beginning two-thirds of the way through the series' longest adventure yet. Here's a quick recount of what's happened so far: When Oscar Teabag-Dooven, a Velvet Paw of Asquith, is ordered to investigate how a mysterious poet, the Ar'dath-Irr, is able to travel instantaneously around the world, two very bad things happen. Firstly, he meets Lydia, an insane librarian who punches everyone in the face, and secondly, the Ar'dath-Irr reveals he is intent on taking over the world. Although this second thing might be considered worse than the first, Oscar feels differently following Lydia’s destruction of a cafe, a library and his face in one afternoon. In comparison, thwarting world domination just seems easier. Along with Binklemitre, a fellow Velvet Paw of Asquith, and Lydia, Oscar infiltrates the Ar’dath-Irr’s realm of dark poetry to discover the dog not only intends wrenching the world apart but has no intention of cleaning up afterwards. As a result, Oscar decides it’s all too hard and goes home to have a bath. After lots of arguing and the sort of food fight that posh restaurants were invented for, Lydia and Binklemitre convince him that they must stop the Ar’dath-Irr for several reasons, one of them quite serious. A vibrant cast of characters collide as Oscar, Lydia and Binklemitre battle the Ar’dath-Irr and his disciples in an adventure involving exploding cafés and appalling hotels, car chases and inadvertent surgery, dreadful poetry, lots of arguments and at least one temper-tantrum, all of which draw the three into dark and convoluted corners of a world they weren’t aware existed. Moreover, any chance of sitting down and discussing things over some buns disappears when Lydia punches the Ar’dath-Irr in the face. This results in her having a psychotic episode and Oscar getting run over by an ambulance. Although Binklemitre suffers neither, he witnesses both, which is almost as dreadful, though not nearly so messy. An enormous battle ensues, followed by a dinner party and then everything explodes.
