"The mind flayer. It built this monster in Hawkins to stop El and kill her and possibly Y/n and pave away into our world." Mike explain to the group, who was sitting in the middle of the mall, making their plans. "And it almost did, that was just one tiny piece of it." Nancy added. "How big is this thing?" Hopper asked, holding Eleven.
"It's big, 30 feet at least." Jonathan said. "It's sorta of destroyed your cabin...sorry." Lucas told Hopper, Hopper sighed. "Okay, so just to be clear, this big fleshy spider thing that hurt El and could possibly hurt Y/n... It's some kind of giant weapon?" Steve asked, he seemed to always be lost in every end-of-the-world situation.
"Yes." Nancy said. "But instead of like, screws and metal, the mind flayer made its weapon... with melted people?" Steve asked once more. "Yes, exactly." Nancy stated. "Yeah, okay. I- yeah, I'm just making sure." Steve said, grabbing Y/n's waist and pulling her to his side. "Are we sure this thing is still out there, still alive?" Joyce asked.
"El beat the shit out of it but yeah it's still alive." Max said, reassuring Joyce. "But if we close the gate again-" Will started. "We can cut the brain off from the body-" Max added.
"And kill it.... Theoretically." Lucas ended, they sighed as Murray came running with the russians plans he got from Alexi. Dustin explained that he could help guide them, Hopper disagreed and they seemed to all get ready to fight the monster.
"Hey, come here." Steve said softly to Y/n, he was sitting on top of a food court counter, drinking water. Y/n made her way next to Steve, sitting on top of the counter on his side, he passed her a water, knowing she might need it. She began to drink, then set it down and looked at Steve.
"It's going to be a hell of a night, and.. I don't know if you should stay here." Steve suggested, he really didn't want to lose Y/n, seeming she was the most important thing to him, she sighed.

"No, Steve. I have to help, this shadow monster thing, it's after me and my sister, and she is hurt... So, I have to stay and fight. I need you to trust me, like you did with the russians, earlier. You can help and stay with robin, but i have to fight and you need to trust me." Y/n said, on the verge of tears.
"Okay, yeah. I trust you but you need to take a walkie talkie so I can check up on you and well everyone else, just in case you run off again." Steve laughed with Y/n holding her waist, as he leaned his head into hers.
"I love you Steve." Y/n said, looking in his eyes now. He sighed with a smile, then quickly gave her, her first ever so soft and small kiss, then leaned his forehead onto hers, looking back into her eyes.
"I love you too, Y/n." He said as the two smiled and hugged each other. "Y/n! Steve! Robin, you go with Dustin." Hopper said, throwing the keys to Steve. "Yeah, uh- okay. Let's go I guess." Steve said grabbing Y/n's hand, and walking to the car. "I'll be out in a minute, I need to talk to Joyce and Hopper." Y/n said, Steve nodded, letting go of her hand as she quickly ran to Joyce.
"Hey, listen. You are strong and I know you can fight but you need to go with them for right now. You're gonna be safe and with Steve." Joyce said, hugging Y/n. "I know, just stay safe mom. I love you." She said to Joyce, Joyce was a little taken back from her words, Y/n never called her mom. Joyce smiled and kissed the side of her head. "I love you too Y/n." She mumbled, pulling back and gave her, her own walkie talkies. The two smiled, as Y/n said goodbye, going to Hopper and Eleven and hugging them both. "I love you Eleven, stay safe. You too Hopper, we need a dad." She laughed with the other two, hugging them both and waving goodbye to her family and friends, running to the front where the three were.

"Alright, hop in!" Steve told Y/n as she got between Steve and Robin, Steve jumped in, starting the car. "Where are we going?" Steve asked. "Weather top." Dustin replied. "Weather-what?" Steve asked. "Just drive." Dustin said. "Okay, Jesus!" Steve said defensively, Robin laughed as they pulled out.
"Oh, man. Now this... This is what i'm talking about!" Steve laughed, obviously enjoying the car. "Toddfather?" Robin laughed, making Y/n giggle beside her. "Oh, screw Todd! Steve's her daddy now." Steve said, laughing hard along with the other three.
"Did you just talk about yourself in third person?" Robin laughed. "Did he just call himself daddy?" Y/n said, laughing with Robin.
"Jesus, how far is this place, man?" Steve asked Dustin. "Relax, we're almost there." Dustin reassured the three teens. "Suzie must be pretty special, huh? I mean, if you built this thing and lugged it all the way to the middle of nowhere, just to talk to her." Robin asked, looking at Dustin.
"I mean nobody's scientifically perfect... but Suzie is about as close as to being perfect, as any human could possibly be." Dustin said, bragging about the girl. "She sounds not real. doesn't she?" Y/n said, looking at Steve, he hesitated. "Why are you hesitating, Steve?"
"I'm- i'm- i'm not! I'm not! I think she sounds real, you know, totally, absolutely real!" Steve mumbled, obviously lying. Dustin rolled his eyes, then looked around. "Left! Turn left!" Dustin yelled. "There's not a road here!" Steve argued. "Turn left now!" Dustin screamed.
"Jesus, hanging on!" Steve yelled, making a sharp turn, then putting out a hand in front of Y/n, his motherly-boyfriend instincts coming in. He quickly put his hand back on the steering wheel, going up the steep hill. "Whoa! Henderson, where are we going?!" Steve yelled, asking Dustin, going over the bumpy hill.
"Up!" Dustin yelled, as 'higher and higher' blasted through the cars radio. "Oh, Jesus!" Steve said. "We're not gonna make it." Y/n yelled. "Yes, we are. Come on, baby. Come on, baby!" Steve said, hitting the steering wheel, as he pressed the gas pedal. The wheel got stuck in some mud, not going anywhere.
"Guess the Toddfather has its limitations." Robin said, leaning forward to see Steve. He rolled his eyes, turning off the car and getting out, then moving to grab Y/n, helping her out. Then, the four made there way to the top. Mike repeat himself over on the radio, as the static hissed.
"Scoops troop, do you copy? Scoops troop, I repeat, do you copy? We're trapped in the mall and in need of emergency transportation. Scoops troop, do you copy? Billy has found us, he has disabled our car and we are trapped in the mall. Repeat: Billy has disabled our car and we are trapped in the mall!" Mike repeated over until they responded but nobody heard the yell for help. Dustin continued to help the 'bald eagles'. Soon, Y/n walked forward, seeing the mall having a large fleshy monster on the top.
"Hey guys?" Y/n asked, they walked over seeing the same monster and running back to the radio. "Griswold family, this is scoops troop! Do you copy? Over. Griswold family, I repeat, this is scoops troop. do you copy?!" Dustin yelled into the walkie talkie, on the other side, the four heard a loud, roar, from the shadow monster. Dustin continued to yell as Y/n and Steve quickly ran to the car, Robin following. "We gotta get them the hell outta there! stay here Dustin, contact the others!"
"Wait Robin, stay in touch!" Dustin said, throwing a walkie talkies her way. She nodded, running and jumping into the back seat.

Adventures of the Goldthirst Company
Get the quest, kill the monsters, grab the loot, don't die. How hard can adventuring be? When the party is a fashionista wizard who'd rather stare at her reflection than dirty herself with actual combat, a thief that picks locks by ripping them apart, a paladin trying to do the right thing, and an archer that's better at talking to plants than people, then even a simple quest can prove a challenge. Hired for a variety of tasks, from retreiving the legendary Dragon's Veil to bodyguarding the wealthy, thwarting apocalyptic prophecies, or uncovering not-so-abandoned elven ruins, the problems in their way may well prove their undoing; lonesome medusas, sticky-fingered psychopomps, agressively passive golems and fearsomely violent geography stand in their way, as well as the minor issue of simply not actually trusting, or even liking, each other! Releases twice weekly, generally Tuesday and Friday (Art by Sin Soppitt)
8 1028Dreamer/Leveler
Zachary Trenner is a freshman at Burlington High School. Despite his mundane appearance and advanced course curriculum, something strange is happening to him. Every time he goes to sleep he switches worlds. Portals are popping up everywhere, allowing access between Earth and the world of Vera. Now he must spend every waking and sleeping moment getting stronger to fight off the [Instance Dungeons] opening on both Vera, and Earth. Prepare for an RPG fiction full of magic, action, a touch of romance, and the author's own dry humor. When the modern technology of Earth meets the medieval magic of Vera, which culture will invade the other world first? When the army rangers of the United States collide with the members of the Hunter's Guild, who will win? Updates on Wednesdays/Thursdays Cover is my own creation. Tips to reading: This is my first book, so cliches and tropes are used as the base and then expanded upon. My intention is to make it a casual read but deep if you decide to look closer. I'm not a people person, so my focus and purpose for writing this is to explore the world building and magic system, not necessarily the characters. There won't be a villian until the postgame ;) Author's philosophy: I took an professional personality inventory (through a community college back in 2018) and was categorized as a "double-checker." I'm never satisfied with the work that I complete, and never want to share it with anyone. But this book is a challenge to myself! As a rule of thumb, I will only add to the story. I can't remove elements I've already included (unless absolutely, absolutely necessary). PS, I'm a native English speaker.

8 153Life as a Game, Cool
Soo… Hello? Why am I doing this? Ugh… Anyway, name’s Sethsamm, no last name. Why you ask? Well… it all started with me waking up and having this holographic RPG-like window in front of me. Sounds like one of the many mangas’ I read, funny. So I got this window, then it explains that my life is now a video game. And then shit hits the hay… Starts up a bit slow, also a bit of wish fulfillment. Of course, there will be plot since I have a dislike for stories without plot, conflict, or even MC struggles.
