Y/n sat in the chair across from Dustin. Listening to both boys bicker about music and translation while she played with Steve's jacket sleeves, Robin busted open the doors.
"Alright, babysitting time is over! You need to get in there... Hey, my board! That was important data shitbirds!" Robin said, looking at her now ruined board, then the two boys.
"I guarantee that what we're doing is more important than your data." Dustin said, weirdly calm. "Yeah? and how do you know these Russians are up to no good anyways?" She asked. The boys argue quietly, she looked at Y/n, smiling and sighing, which made her quietly giggle.
Robin argues to the boys the she could help, knowing multiple languages and playing in band for a few years. Y/n stopped and got up and she walked outside the door, following Steve who was now in the front, serving ice cream. He gave her a soft smile.
"What's up, Y/n?" He said, she moved over to the chair behind the counter, moving her hair behind her ear. Steve finished serving the kids there ice cream, and moving towards Y/n.
"Nothing, just bored..." She sighed. "Steve?" She asked softly and quietly, making his heart melt and showing a soft smile. "Yeah?" He responded in the same tone, soft and quiet, wrapping an arm around her. "Do you think the Russians will try to find me and take me?" She asked, making eye contact with Steve.
"No, of course not. I promised i'll protect you and that's what I'm doing. Also, I'm going to walk you home tonight unless you want to go in the car." Steve said, making her smile. "Car!" She replied, making Steve chuckle lightly, he nodded and went to the next customer, who had just showed up.

Y/n was in the back room, with Robin and Dustin. They were capable of translating the first sentence, 'the week is long'. They all smiled as Robin made her way to the window, to tell Steve. Once she opened the window, Y/n saw Eleven and quickly made her way to the front.
"Eleven? Why are you here?" She asked as the two waited for their ice cream. She looked at Y/n and smiled. "I'm having a girl day with Max! She is giving me a makeover." She smiled, Max waved over at Y/n. She smiled and waved at Max, then looked at Eleven.
"Are you allowed to be here? There's a lot of people." She said, Eleven shrugged. "Okay, I won't tell Hopper or Joyce as long as you're safe." She said hugging her, glad she is finally out of that cabin and hanging out with someone other than Mike. The two got their ice cream, leaving the store and waving bye to Steve and Y/n. Y/n made her way to the back.
"Wait a second, is she even allowed to be here?" Steve asked, Y/n shrugged and laughed. Steve laughed with her, mumbling an 'okay'.
"The week is long, the silver cat feeds, when blue meets yellow in the west." The three said, Y/n wasn't that good with reading so she stayed back, debating on putting Steve's jacket back or keeping it for the night. She decided to keep it and follow them outside of the store so Steve could close up.
Dustin and Robin walked ahead as Y/n waited for Steve to finish locking the store. She listened to them talking and talking, smiling at their suspicions. Once Steve got up, she linked arms with him and put her head on his shoulders, indicating she was tired.

Soon, Steve stopped and whispered, a 'hold on' and unlinked for her arm, going through his pockets for a quarter for the Indiana Flyer. Y/n watched him, with a weird look on her face, isn't he to big for that? She thought.
The two stoped talking, and turned around to see Steve checking his pockets while Y/n was behind him, she looked over at the two and gave a questioning shrug.
"What are you doing?" Robin called out. "Uh, it's a quarter. I need- do you have a quarter?" He said louder. Robin walked over, throwing a quarter, with Dustin following. "Sure your tall enough for that ride?"
"Quarter!" He puts it in, listening to the music. "You need help getting up, little Stevie?" Robin said, making the two others giggle. "Would you guys just shut up and listen?" Steve replied and they listened.
"Holy shit, the music." Dustin said, pulling out his tape recorder and playing it, the Russians came back on, along with the song coming from the child's toy. "I don't understand." Robin replied.
"It's the exact same song on the recording." Dustin said, Robin shrugged. "Maybe they have horses like this in Russia?"
"Indiana Flyer'? I don't- I don't think so. This code, it didn't come from Russia, it came from here."

The Doormat Villainess – Adrianne
A villainess is a character who has always been diametrically opposed to the heroine of a romance drama. What makes a person a good villainess? The fact that she's unabashedly beautiful and charismatic, yet also rotten inside? The fact that she's incredibly loathsome, greedy, and selfish? That she's reasonably strong enough to be a hurdle, yet ultimately powerless in the face of a determined heroine? That despite all these character flaws, a Villainess's greatest virtue is unwilling to give up until the last of their breath, in pursuit of her personal desire? If those are the hallmark of a successful Villainess. Then, I might be the wrong person to play that role. Also on Scribblehub (Profile)
