"i'm the lucky guy..?" harry's voice was quiet.
we lay in his bed, under the sheets.
"i guess you are, my harry." i smiled.
harry giggled. it was dark. it was about 10:00pm. niall's party was probably still full blown.
"i've gotta get home haz." i said, trying to get up. harry pulled me back under the covers.
"stay z." he kissed my forehead.
"okay haz." we cuddled up beside each other, and dozed off.
-morning
"zayn." harry ran his fingers through my hair.
"good morning harry." i yawned, sitting up against the head of harry's bed.
"did you sleep well?" harry asked me.
"of course." i rest my head on harry's shoulder.
"i really like this z." harry admitted.
"like what?" i asked him.
"like being with you.. but this way." harry smiled, and kissed my temple.
"harry.. i hope you know that we're not dating.." i exclaimed.
"oh yes. zayn i know that. i just like being with you.. like you know.. in.." harry blushed.
"okay.. yeah i understand." i chuckled, wrapping my arm around harry.
"i like you z." harry whispered.
"i like you too harry." i beamed.
harry nuzzled his head into my shoulder. i sighed.
i could get used to this.
-later
"pez?" i called her.
"hi zayn.." perrie yawned, then groaned.
"what happened? are you okay?" i questioned.
"oh.. um..." perrie was blushing.
"oh okay.." i raised my eyebrows, smirking.
"yeah.. anyway you called?" perrie giggled a little.
"uh.. i told my parents." i bit my lip.
"and?"
"they didn't take it well.. at all. i'm crashing at harry's place.. we may or may not have done the same thing you and leigh did." i chuckled, rubbing the back of my neck.

"i'm smirking zayn." perrie laughed. "but about your parents.."
i sighed. "they probably don't want me living."
"zayn. they love you. they just need some time to think things through." perrie told me.
"i know pez, but i really don't want to go back there you know.. they were really mad. i walked out on them and went straight to harry's.." i smiled weakly.
"zayn. they love you. i know it." perrie soothed.
her voice was calming.
"okay.. i guess." i sighed.
"jesus perrie, what a night." i heard leigh's voice in the back around.
"leigh! shut up! zayn's on the phone!" perrie scolded.
i laughed. "too late."
"jesus leigh." perrie sassed. "anyway, tomorrow. leigh and i gotta do some landry before my parents come home. later."
i nodded. "later perrie."
i hung up.

Heart of Cultivation
Book one is now available for purchase or download through Kindle Unlimited! Jian was a prodigy, at least until he discovered that his path of cultivation had hit a dead end almost as soon as it began. That was all years ago, though. He has long since resigned himself to his fate and prepared himself for a dull, ordinary, but happy life. Stunted cultivation or no, he's clever enough to carve out his own comfortable niche. Unfortunately, not all of the matters from his past have been settled. When a reckless mistake threatens to cost him everything, Jian will have to prove that he's desperate enough to rise to the occasion. Or that he's capable of avoiding the consequences. This is an affectionate reconstruction of the xianxia genre. I will be deploying the tropes from the genre that I enjoy in a framework that I think makes sense. The story updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sometimes other days.

Erased
Alone in a vast expanse of knowledge and void of any previous memory what else was I to do but learn? The world above awaited me, but down here it was all I could do to read about it, prepare for it. How long would it take for me to see my first of the Learned Races, or encounter my first monster? To simply see a [City Guard] or a [Warrior] maybe even a [Mage], even then I'd be sated no matter how basic the Class. I wanted to witness what I read about, the fantastical [Secret Stache] of a [Treasure Hunter] or a [Pickpocket] using [Deft Hands]. These were natural occurrences above, but alas, I was below. And this deep down, I'd see my first horror before seeing any mere monster. My escape were the books but soon I'd turn that knowledge into a real escape, I'd emerge from this dear library and claw my way above. But I'd need to prepare myself, I just didn't know how yet. So back to my books.

Twisted Skies
After his master's death, Thurain leaves his rural home behind and travels to Heliana, the cramped city founded on the scientific progress of cultivation. Under a fake name, he aims to enter the Elemental Path Sect, the place of his master's death, to find both his killers, and closure. However, surrounded by the strange and horrible wonders of Heliana and its mixture of heroes and villains, his master's death is not the only murder he may have to solve. --- First attempt at a xianxia novel from me. To shake things up from the usual formula, the setting is more steam-punk than you might expect, and there are elements of murder mystery mixed in with the standard formula (though I'm not entirely sure yet how far to go with it.) I wrote this a while ago for NaNoWriMo, only posting it now for various reasons. Enjoy. Also, cover is highly temporary. I'll probably replace it with something nicer eventually.
