"I'm going to go get dressed. Uh, do you mind making the table look nice? I don't know, you can do it better than I could.." I chuckled a little, and Leigh nodded.
"Sure thing Zee. Go get dressed." Leigh smiled.
"Go get pretty for Harry." Jade added, in a girly tone.
"Yes go get very, very pretty for your Harry." Leigh giggled, and her and Jade high fived.
This was going to be a long night.
I ignored the two and ran upstairs where I changed into some black skinny jeans and a sleeveless batman top.
I fixed my hair up as much as I could, and sprayed some cologne on myself before walking back downstairs.
Jade and Leigh finished the table, and when I was back downstairs, they had gone upstairs to get dressed.
I sighed, then checked my phone.
Just the way he typed was hot.
I sat down in the living room which was right across from the kitchen.
I turned on the television, but could barely even watch as to how nervous I was.
"I-is that cologne I smell?" Leigh smirked while her and Jade walked into the living room.
"I'm just asking one question, can we please have a calm night?" I asked, frustrated.
"No." Jade stated clearly.
"Your boyfriends coming over. There's no way we're going to have a calm night." Leigh and Jade snickered.
Suddenly the doorbell rang.
I jumped, Leigh and Jade began squealing excitedly.
"Guys starting now I need to two to shut up, yeah?" And having having said that, I made my way to the door, opening it right away.
"Hi Zayn." Harry blushed, smiling at me softly.
He looked absolutely stunning.
"Hi love. C'mon in." I moved out of the doorway so that Harry could enter the house.

"Hello Harry!! I'm Jade, and this is Leigh - we're Zayn's older sisters," Jade waved, so did Leigh.
"Hello loves." Harry spoke.
I exhaled. Leigh smirked at me.
"Let's eat then?" I said, leading everyone to the dining room, and I let Harry in first.
"Please." I mumbled at my sisters who raised their eyebrows at me walking in behind me.
I sat down beside Harry, Jade and Leigh sitting down on the other side.
I served Harry, our arms gently brushing up against one another while Harry passed me his plate.
I blushed a little, looking down and away from Leigh and Jade.
After serving Harry, Leigh served herself, then Jade, and finally I did.
"Eat up. We cooked well. Mostly me." I said, looking at Harry.
Once we began eating, Jade started with the embarrassing questions.
"Harry, do you have a girlfriend? Are you dating anyone? Is there a significant other?" Jade questioned, trying to be casual - when really I knew exactly what she wanted to say.
Harry finished eating, then took a sip of his water. "I'm single. And I'm... Gay."
Leigh smiled. "That's okay, so am I, and Zayn as well."
"Yeah, at least when we were younger I could talk about boys with Jade." I chuckled, Harry giggling.
"Not like you don't anymore," Jade smirked, eyeing Harry.
I widened my eyes at Jade, who didn't stop.
"Zayn talks about boys?" Harry giggled.
"Goodness!! All the time!" Leigh laughed, pointing at Jade who nodded.
"He has a major crush on that actor... Zac Efron?" Jade asked sarcastically, and her and Leigh began laughing uncontrollably.
I sat there with a flat expression, until Harry pushed me playfully. "Love, that's okay. He is pretty attractive though."

Leigh stopped laughing immediately when Harry called me love.
Jade exhaled loudly, and eyed Leigh who nodded, a little stiff.
"Anyways." I cleared my throat, in -directing Leigh and Jade to shut up before anything could advance even more than it already had.
"Dinner was lovely. Thank you." Harry smiled.
"No problem." Leigh smiled at the green eyed boy.
"Anytime," Jade said.
"Where's the washroom Zayn?" Harry asked me a little quietly.
"Here, let me show you." I told him, smiling. "We'll be back."
I rolled my eyes at my sisters who were giggling.
Harry and I stood up and I walked him to the washroom which was behind the stairs.
"You okay?" Harry asked me.
"Yeah, why?"
"Your sisters. They seem... Funny. Not in a bad way!! I really like them."
I sighed heavily. "Don't even bother with them. They've got a little inside joke between themselves which is about me... It's nothing babe." I touched my hand onto Harry's shoulder, than let go. "I'll be back at the table."
Harry nodded, opening the washroom door and stepping in.
I ran back to the dining room. "Please." I said, utterly frustrated at this point.
"Harry is actually such a cutie. I'd seriously go straight for him." Leigh joked.
"He is such a cutie." Jade grinned. "Zayn?"
"He's adorable." And I didn't mean to say that. Not at all.
That was supposed to be something you kept in your brain Zayn.
My sisters jumped up right away and began pointing at me and squealing.
"I knew it!! I knew it, I knew it, I knew it!!" Jade grinned, her and Leigh high fiving.
"Now that you've gotten that out of my head, please be serious for the rest of this dinner okay?" I sat down.
When Harry came back, he helped us put the dishes away, and when we were done, Harry and I went upstairs to my room.
"Thank you very much for dinner. It was great." Harry spoke, siting down on my bed.
"Come back whenever you want love," I told Harry, just looking at him.
How could one ever be so gorgeous?

Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.
