all i want to be

is drunk

sipping poetry

from a wine glass

and vices

from a chalice

i want the taste

of mediocrity off my tongue

replaced by a niche cognition

of my mortality

i want to be fuddled with

ancient apprehensions

about the other side

and awareness for

the perfect shade of fear

venomous endings

to fairytales cherished

and a small crevice

to bury myself in

all i want to be is

drunk

to excuse the rogue

creating anarchy

in my bones

and

all i want to be is drunk

so i can be

free
