"We're sorry Thomas but I'm afraid you only have two months left to live, we've tried everything but there has been no effect."
Tom sighed and placed his head in his hands,
"I don't want to hear anything else, can you just leave me alone for a bit?"
The nurse sighed and nodded, "I understand, goodbye Mr Rockwell."
He slowly began to tear up and laid down in the hospital bed, gazing at the roof - lost in his thoughts.
I wish Matt and Edd knew I was here
I wish I had more time
I wish someone would just come and see me
As if someone had heard his prayers, Tom heard a bang at the door.
He sat up swiftly and wiped his eyes with the back of his hand and the nurse walked back into Room 544
"Sorry to disturb Thomas but you have a visitor" She then looked at the doorway and nodded at the mysterious person as she strolled out, "You have an hour."
Tom then saw the mysterious figure walk in and shut the door behind him, his arms folded behind his back and his honey-coloured hair which was shaped like devil horns spiked up.
'That can't be him, he died in the giant robot...' he thought to himself
"T-Tord?!"
"Hello old friend" He said, his Norwegian accent more strong than Tom remembered.
"Tord...I thought you died?" Tom stuttered, his eyes widening out of shock
Tord sat himself on the end of Tom's bed and began inspecting his left arm,
"I got few scars but nothing intense," he then began inspecting his robot arm, "Remember this Tom?" Tord prodded, looking Tom directly in his eyes and showing him his robot arm.
"The giant robot..." Tom mumbled under his breath, "You made an arm out of the leftover parts?"
"Very smart, Thomas. Perfect."
"What do you mean 'perfect'?" Tom questioned Tord, sitting up and looking at him confused

"Oh nothing, so anyway," Tord stood up and walked next to Tom and placed a hand on his shoulder, "I heard you only have two months left to live, eye cancer isn't it?"
"Y-Yeah" Tom mourned, a look of misery plastered all over his face.
"I can help with that." Tord stated, once again standing up and placing his arms folded behind his back,
Tom seemed intrigued and captivated by Tord's words,
"Wait, you can?"
"Yes, one second." Tord went over to a backpack that was placed on a chair nearby Tom's bed and rummaged through it, eventually pulling out an eye mask.
"With this." Tord announced, smirking at Tom.
"A mask? Tord, cancer isn't some illness that can be cured with a nice day at the spa-"
Tord turned it around and showed it at all angles to Tom, there were two bright green eyes and a strap that seemed like Tom's fit, he showed the inside which seemed like it was made for a robot.
"This will cure your eye cancer, Tom, you've just gotta trust me"
"The last time I trusted you, you blew up the house, nearly killed me and actually killed Jon"
"Well that was years ago, cmon Tom just let me save you."
Tom paused for a second, 'Why does Tord want to help me? This isn't the normal Tord I know' he thought to himself
After a few silent minutes of Tom internally debating with himself he looked at Tord and smiled at him, "Sure!"
Tord smiled back at him, "Well there's one condition," both of them had stop smiling and the atmosphere changed instantly,
"What condition?.."
"You join me."
"What do you mean 'join you'?" Tom paused again then realised, what did he hear on the news earlier? and what has he heard on the news for the past few months?
Red leader this...
Red leader that...
Red leader then...
Red leader went...
Red leader wants...

Tord smiled sweetly at Tom, realising that he knew that Tom knew.
"You're the Red Leader aren't you?"
He began chuckling and pulled a cigar out of his backpack,
"No, I'm the Gold Leader of the unicorn society" Tord said sarcastically,
"Yes I am, and I need you as my bodyguard. Paul and Patryk decided I needed one as they can't take up my duties and my needs because they 'love me too much' and that sloppy feelings shit."
"Why me?" Tom interrogated
"You've got nothing else, you've got nowhere else to go, you need me and I need you."
"You just want to use me don't you?"
"Nope, I need you by my side as my right hand man, second in command, partner in crime, whatever you'd use to describe it, but you get the point."
Tord sat on the end of Tom's bed again and looked him directly in the eyes, a tiny hint of desperation in them, but mainly intimidation.
"You need me more than I need you Tom, so would you rather die in two months or keep on living?"
Tom took a deep breath and exhaled, "Fine. I'll join the Red Army."
Tord smirked at him, looking for devilish than on average. He stood up at Tom and for once was taller than him, he held out his robotic hand,
"Nice to be working with you, Bodyguard"
"Tord, I'm in a motherfucking hospital, how am I gonna get out?"
"With this." Tord reached into his backpack and throws a gun towards him
"Wait- No I'm not killing anybody!" Tom protested
"First of all, shut up - the doctors might hear you, dumbass. And second of all, being my partner in crime, you better be prepared to kill many more people, darling."
Tom began to observe the gun and fiddle with it carefully, "Please don't tell me I have to kill everyone in this hospital."
"Depends on how many people see us escaping, so load up." He handed Tom some bullets which fit perfectly in the gun and also had some spare for reloading.
Tord had already placed on his trench coat and eyepatch which he usually is seen in. He was then loading up his shotgun and put out the cigarette by stomping on it.
The black-eyed patient began loading up his gun and was breathing in and out to try and relax himself.
"Okay...I'm ready."
"Alrighty, get your essentials and just throw them in your backpack and lets get the fuck outta here." Tord said, throwing his backpack onto his back and holding his shotgun ready.
Tom began packing everything into his backpack: Susan, Smirnoff, his blue hoodie, his wallet and a few other odds and ends.
He then zipped it up and threw it on his back, tidying his hospital bed and getting his gun ready.
Tord suddenly began lighting a match and held it to Tom's medical records in his hospital room,
"Tord what're you doing?!"
"Going fishing - what the fuck does it look like I'm doing? I'm burning your medical records and any trace of you being here."
"Well what about on the computer system?"
"Already sorted all of that, no need to worry." He set the records ablaze and opened the window,
"Anyway, the smoke and heat might attract people to your room, we gotta go out the window"
At this point Tom was already used to Tord's weird yet strategic ways of thinking and just went with it.
Tord held his hands out towards the window, "Ladies first"
Tom laughed and slowly dropped out the window, seeing as he was only on the 3rd floor and the drop wasn't as high as he thought.
He landed quite awkwardly and tripped over himself, a few seconds after, Tord landed perfectly on the ground and nodded at Tom,
"Come on, Partner, we've gotta get to Red Base and sort out your eyes," Tord laid a hand on Tom's face and traced his finger along the area around Tom's space-like eyes, "they're slowly getting worse."

Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)
