Julian's POV.

"Yeah, yeah. I know it was an important deal to final but I don't care. I'm finishing more important business over here", I tell my assistant, Mia over the phone.

"But Mr. West, these documents needs to be signed by you within 2 days so I can finalize the deal with the investors from Brazil", she protested.

I know she's only telling me that because this was a major deal. But how can I leave Miami.

My brothers are having a party tonight. Alex invited her, I need to be here.

No business deal is more important to me than my family.

"How about you come here in Miami and get my signatures right away", I suggested.

Those were very confidential documents, I couldn't trust anyone but Mia.

"But Mr. West-"

"Mia, due to some personal issues I can't be in LA for next few weeks. You have to come here in Miami for me to sign those documents. Aren't those important?", I interrupted her.

There was silence for few seconds.

"Ok sir", she replied and I hung up.

It's strictly for work purposes only.

"What's up", Elijah asked me entering the living room. I turned around to face him.

"Those important clients from Brazil set up a meeting. But due to the situation here I had to cancel it. Now, Mia will be coming here by tomorrow for me to sign those important documents", I told him looking at him squarely.

He gave a weird look, "okay".

"I gotta tell you something Julian", he said.

I nodded for him to continue.

"I think I'm going to be a part of the Lavender heights summer school's tursteeship council", he told me firmly.

I was confused, "what do you mean?"

"I mean I'm going to donate them money to be a part of the council. To have more access for more information. That bitch Diana wouldn't let me have information about that girl" he told with gritted teeth.

"Diana? Who?", I was even more confused now.

"She's the Co-Founder of this damm summer school. I sent my people to find more information about her. She's from Los Angeles, her name is Diana Miller. She's a goodie goodie and always goes by the rules-" he continued.

"-I even offered her aid but no. I always get I want. Now, I'll blow it in her face. Ha!", He looked red with anger.

"Okie dokie", I awkwardly left the room.

What the hell is wrong with this dude. I mean yeah, he's 27 but still not that old.

I saw Chris on my way upstairs to my room.

"Hey bro", I greeted.

"Hello..."

Huh? Hello? He never cuts of such a short greeting. What is wrong with him?

"What happened? Are you okay?",I asked. My voice filled with concern.

"I just... I just miss them. Why do they have to leave us?",his eyes were watery.

I knew what he meant.

I instantly pulled him in my arms and did my best to comfort him.

"Don't worry, it's gonna be alright", I tried to assure him.

"No! It won't, you always say this!",he said pulling away form me.

I just looked at him. I knew he was holding back. I knew he couldn't stop himself anymore.

His eyes pooled with big tears and then they started flowing out.

I felt bad.

I promised mom and dad that I'll always take care of my little bro. I failed miserably.

I always did my best to make him feel home, I did my best.

"Julian, honey take care of yourself and your brothers while we're gone. We'll be back by tomorrow, ok?", mom said with sad eyes.

"I'll wait", I told her.

Where are you mom?

I'm still waiting till today...
