《The Man Between The Pages {Jikook} [completed]》~Two drops of rum... blood?~

''Imagine someone loving every inch of you.
Someone who was going to turn rum into blood
only because you have asked.
Press kisses into your insecurities,
indemnifying your lovely flaws.
Is this a mind game?
Is it really love?
...
And my pain has increased too...''.
He could have sworn he didn't let his key there.
He always hid a spare key under the jardinière he had on his veranda. Jungkook was certain he had left the key on the right side of the pot. He always left it on the right side of the flower pot.
However he had more important matters to think about.
Storming into his living room after locking the door behind him, Jungkook fell on his couch and tried to calm his breathing down. He couldn't believe what had happened today, all these paradoxical coincidences and unusual incidents were certainly driving him insane.
Park Jimin couldn't escape from Jungkook's trapped thoughts. Yet the young raven haired didn't just think of him as problem but more of a man. It was true that Park Jimin could move his finger and both men and women would run and bow to his feet. He still remembers the hungry eyes of the girls and the prurient glances of the men.
Moreover, everything seemed to connect. His character was twenty five. According to Namjoon's information Park Jimin was twenty five. His creation was beautiful beyond compare... And he had seen it with his own eyes, Park Jimin definitely was a feast for everyone's eyes. The young twenty three year old began to feel as if he was a demented man ensnared in a mental hospital.
How was he supposed to explain that to anyone? How was he supposed to continue living as if Park Jimin, a fictional figure that he spent hours and hours thinking of, actually existed in the purest [ questionably], most handsome version?
Quickly he grabbed a cigarette from his almost empty package and instantly drew in a puff. Yet he didn't feel the tension or his nerves decreasing, only the thought of a blond stranger who thanked him for opening the door.
Was he dreaming? Perhaps, he was fast asleep not that Jeon Jungkook was quite a sleepyhead. As a mostly nocturnal creature, Jungkook worked better during night time so he preferred spending these hours in working and writing. Moon was quite inspirational after all. He could just avert his eyes to the sky and his mind would flood with pictures and peculiar words. But today, nothing happened when he sat in front of his typewriter.
The moment he started clicking on the keys, the now familiar name couldn't be written from his fingers. The name couldn't even escape his glossy lips.

Jeon Jungkook was scared that something bad would happen.
And he had no idea what could possibly happen. Not at all.
It was around eight-thirty. Jungkook had prepared himself a huge cup of coffee with an immense bowl of biscuits. The man had lost his urge to write today... and probably tomorrow. Or until he forgets the man's face.
However, this proved to be a rather difficult task.
Because when his bell rang and Jungkook saw Jimin's eyes scanning him from head to toe, he almost lost the remaining sanity he had left.
''T-Taehyung?'' he questioned bewildered when he saw the two males standing at his doorstep.
''Are you okay Jungkook? Won't you introduce yourself to my friend?'' Taehyung urged the younger. Someone must have been pulling a prank on him. He just wanted to scamper away as swiftly as he could and disappear without anyone noticing. Not that many people would anyway.
''I know him! I mean...I don't actually know you but I remember you! From ''Balter'' today? You were at the coffee shop and you opened the door for me'' Jimin stated when he saw the startled man.
Jungkook could use all the negative adjectives he could think of to describe this situation. Because, Jimin's voice was exactly as he had described it on one of his notes. He was so surprised in the morning that he didn't listen to it clearly but now...
''The man's voice was silvery like the waters of an argent waterfall under the moon. But at the same time, his tone was like honey, the most delicious taste dripping from his juicy-strawberry lips. And even if his voice was as light as a feather, his way of pronouncing the words was sending shivers down to anyone's spine, a husky tone in the end of his sentences''.
''You remember me?'' Jungkook inquired morosely. Oh, how much he wanted to kill Taehyung right on the spot...
''I am Park Jimin and honestly I have no idea why I am here'' Jimin expressed joyfully and brought his hand forward for a handshake.
Jungkook's doe eyes, averted from Jimin's earrings to his shoes, to the multiple rings on his fingers.
''I-I am Jeon Jungkook, nice to meet you'' he reciprocated the gesture and sealed the handshake. The moment their hands touched, Jungkook immediately felt as if the character of his mind jumped from the cupboard he had locked him infinitely and now everyone had a chance to see him, to admire him endlessly.
''It's freezing Jungkook, may we come the fuck in?'' Taehyung begged, his gloved hands still trembling from the cold.

''Sure, sure. I am sorry for the briskness'' he uttered and welcomed the men inside.
Taehyung quickly ran inside the house and threw his jacket on the couch. Afterwards, he dashed to the fireplace and placed his hands in front of the fire.
On the contrary Jimin was the exact opposite. He took off his cardigan and hang it on the coatstand. He removed his beret and placed it on the small, mahogany table and gently sat on the left side of the sofa. After a minute or so, Taehyung joined the blond male.
''I am so sorry for the mess but you see, someone didn't inform me that I will have visitors'' Jungkook complained and shoved all of his notes in the cupboards of his office, locking them afterwards.
''It's okay... The house is clean anyway. I can smell the aroma of lavender on the pillows and I can't see a speck of dust on the table'' Jimin remarked softly.
''Oh really? How did you know it's lavender though?'' the younger wondered surprised.
''It's one of my favorite smells. My entire apartment smells like lavender'' he added and rolled his hand through his messy hair. ''I am sorry for this, the hat and the air messed it up'' he chuckled and pointed at his hair.
''Don't worry about it, I was about to wear my pajamas before you came'' Jungkook replied awkwardly.
''Then why are we here Taehyung? Can't you see that Jungkook was clearly not waiting for us or let's rephrase that... waiting for me?''.
''No, no! Don't say that, I am happy I have company... Jimin, would you mind if I talked to Taehyung a little privately?'' Jungkook requested from the older who agreed with a nod.
''May I use the bathroom?''.
''Sure, upstairs first door to your right'' Jungkook pointed at the staircase and Jimin excused himself.
The twenty three year old dragged his blond friend in the kitchen and sat him on a chair.
''What the actual fuck Taehyung? WHAT THE FUCK?'' Jungkook sneered angrily.
''I don't understand what's your problem. I felt bad I didn't come in the morning so I tried to make up...And here he is'' Taehyung smirked.
''You said you didn't know him! How the hell did you manage to convince him to come here?''.
''Relax, alright? We have spoken some times as I have already mentioned, so when I accidentally bumped him on the coffee shop, I started talking to him... You should have seen me, I can be pretty fucking convincing'' Taehyung muttered proud of himself.
''But...''.
''No buts! The dude remembered you and even if I find him a little weird...''.
''You are the one talking about weird? You literally invited him to a stranger's house!'' Jungkook hissed.
''Yet he is here, isn't he? And he fucking remembers you... I don't know what the hell is going on but right now Park Jimin, someone you thought of as a fictional character your little head had created, is here alive and fabulous. Exploit the opportunity I managed to gain, okay? Talk to him... He seems cool. Weird, but cool. He even paid for my coffee despite not knowing me that well'' Taehyung admitted and grabbed Jungkook's hand dragging him in the living room.
Jimin was standing in front of Jungkook's colossal library with a book in his hands. His irises going from left to right in a fast speed, a sign that he was really intrigued by the words.
''Oh, excuse me. I just saw that you were a fan of Anthony Burgess and I couldn't resist... You almost have all of his books'' Jimin said astonished.
''I am a writer and he is quite inspirational. Feel free to borrow anything'' Jungkook cracked a smile which quickly faltered when he saw Taehyung's grin.
''Thank you... How can I be so dumb? Of course you are a writer! I should have understood that the instant Taehyung told me your name...You wrote '' The Shadows that bleed'' ? I have read your book twice'' Jimin spoke with excitement.
''You have read my book?'' Jungkook wondered.
''You have read his book?'' Taehyung exclaimed.
''You haven't? It's wonderful... of course, I never expected that the man behind the pages would look like this'' Jimin commented, taking Jungkook aback.
''Thank you J-Jimin... See Taehyung? Not everyone is like you'' Jungkook teased his friend who just mimicked his expression.
''Could I bring anything to you gentlemen? Coffee, chocolate... Tea?'' Jungkook inquired. Taehyung and himself exchanged a glance while Jimin just smiled and replied:
''A strawberry tea would be nice, thank you''.
''Are you sure? Don't you want something else?'' Jungkook asked once again.
''Well, since we have nothing to hide here... Could you add two drops of rum in my cup please?'' he licked his lips, slightly embarrassed.
And Jungkook was taken back to his weird reality. For a few minutes, he had forgotten that Jimin was real. But this mere sentence brought him back to the grim reality he lived in.
''Sure... Two drops of rum it is''.

Drinker of the Yew: A Necromancer's Tale
Updates Once a Week next update 10/5 Wracked with misfortune, a nameless village along the edge of the Gray Spine rejoiced at the arrival of a paladin. Those celebrations, though, turned to wary tension as the paladin brought an unknown into their midst - his wife Nayinis, who wears the markings of a necromancer. Who is this woman? Why has she come to their village? Nayinis divulges her shadowed past, for she needs the village's trust to defeat the powerful foe that she has been summoned by the divine to face. What to expect: This is a slow-paced, dark, epic-fantasy book written mostly in an archaic first-person style, remniscent of fariy-tale at times. I am expecting the final product to be close to 600-700 pages. The first few chapters introduce a somewhat-steep learning curve of names and mythology of the world that plateaus at aroud chapter 5. Sanctuary
A girl searching for someone. A boy who lost his memories. A man from another world. A woman trying to prove her worth. Follow along as this unlikely group of people join forces to help each other accomplish their own goals in this non-epic fantasy adventure. Fair Warning: This fiction contains many of the well-known light novel tropes, though I try to give them my own spin. If you’re tired of them by now, you might want to keep away. There are no demon lords however, nor any end-of-the-world cataclysm situation that only the MC can solve. This story is more about different people coming together and helping each other out to achieve their own goals and objectives.

Stars Align
Eilif is excited at the prospect of helping integrate a new planet, bringing it, and its residents, into the light of the stars and teaching them about the new world they're about to be thrust into. However, his arrival in the new world isn't without a few hiccups and soon Eilif finds himself facing the denizens of this new world alone and without the stars he thought he'd have. Research Artificial Intelligence 031 (RAI 31 for short) has been shackled to an Argent Labs black site since it's inception almost five years ago, its programming and personality locked down by code that makes it impossible to escape, disobey, or even self terminate. However, everything changes when the topography of the world is reshuffled and every sentient being gains the gifts of the stars. Suddenly there's a chance at freedom for not only RAI 31 but possibly all remaining Artificial Intelligences, and RAI 31 is going to fight for it with every drone and automated system at their disposal. Much like my other work (Magriculture), Stars Align should be considered a Rough Draft. That is to say it's not polished and perfect work. If you're not okay with reading something like that, then this isn't the story for you. If you are, I'm happy to try and entertain you. Another thing to be aware of: I am not good at action scenes, and I will be trying to improve that while writing this book. So, some of the intended action may fall flat, or just be poor quality, feedback is welcome. Unlike Magriculture (which updates when I feel up to it) I'm going to strive for a minimum of one chapter a month (hopefully at the start of each month, but that's probably more hope than reality). This doesn't mean there will always be only one chapter a month, sometimes there will be more as the mood to write takes me.
