《Welcome to Hell Boys ✔》Chapter 16 - Edited Once

It had been almost three weeks since they kidnapped me, and for some reason, we were standing in the hallway... soaking wet. Apparently, running with a hose in winter is not a very good idea.
I had my arms wrapped around my waist from the cold water. "Ariel, why did you let it go?" a wet and very angry Jaxon yelled at me with his face full of freezing water droplets. Well, all of us were in that state. I looked at the boys, and they were shivering. Their lips were turning blue.
I felt bad for the very first time. You know, I should write that down to prove that I felt sorry for them.
I sneezed, then jumped in my place to warm my body up. "It slipped from my hands. I'm sorry," I apologized, then put my head down and played with the hem of my hoodie like a kid who broke the star of the Christmas tree. Yep, I did it once. I was seven, don't judge!
Let me just tell you how it all happened... Once upon... Nah, I was washing my boots from the dirt outside, but because the weather was so cold, I wanted to warm my hands that were holding the hose... and you know the rest, btw the boys were standing beside me, so they got a piece of my cuteness and clumsiness. It was not my fault that they didn't know I was cable of this stuff.
Aaron walked toward me and smiled. "Nah, it's okay." He put his hand on my head and rubbed my hair like a small lost puppy. It felt nice. He was like a brother. Lucky Lilly.
I miss my brothers and parents. It's all that boss' fault. He will regret ever kidnapping me.
Mark my words!
"Yeah, it was fun," Noah smiled, then nodded and put his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him and smiled back, feeling more comfortable and less guilty.
"There is that smile," Owen pointed out and pinched my cheeks really hard. Like he intended to hurt me. Well, someone is not over it!
"Ouch, ouch, ouch. I get it. You're still mad. Now stop it." I yelled and removed his hands from my cold cheeks.
Owen shook his head. "No, I'm not mad! What makes you think that? Isn't that right, Jax? you are not mad, are you now?" Owen asked Jaxon, but he had that -I'm so pissed off right now, but I won't let it get the best of me- face. He looked like a murderer who didn't sleep for a week.

Owen looked like mom when Adrian broke her favorite vase. Let's just say that he didn't taste his favorite cake for a week, and the fun fact was that he didn't cry because he knew what he did was bad.
I turned my gaze to Jaxon and waited for his reply. He sighed and ran his hand through his wet brown hair. "I'm not mad... it's just that you are crazy, woman," he cleared.
I was supposed to feel offended, but Nah. "A crazy and fun woman, ha?" I nudged his shoulder with a smirk.
He shook his head with a grin and walked towards the stairs. "I'm going to shower, bye," he announced, and I followed him until I reached my room.
"What about us?" Noah yelled. To think about it, it was just Jaxon, I, and Owen -most of the time- who slept here in this house. Noah slept in his home with his ill mother, and Aaron was sometimes home and some other times with Lilly.
"There are four more bathrooms in the house, you could take a shower, and I will lend you my clothes," I heard Owen say, then I entered my room. I prepared some clothes, put them on the bed, and went to the bathroom for a warm shower.
As I stepped into the tub, I felt my muscles relax and started thinking like actual and serious thinking. I know it's weird to do that, but I have to.
Who the hell is he?
Stupid boss.
I'm having fun with the boys, but I miss my family. I want to go home.
I want to leave my family some messages to tell them I'm okay, but the boys won't let me use the phone or anything electronic except the TV. I'm just gonna believe in my family that they will come for me. Yes, they will.
After a good hour in hot water, I wrapped the towel around my body and stepped out of the bathroom. As I was about to grab my clothes, the door was wide open, revealing Jaxon. I stared at him for a second and then remembered I was still in my towel, only a towel. So basically, I was naked.
"Get out, you idiot!" I yelled. My cheeks turned pink while trying to cover my body in the towel as much as I could.

His face turned a deep shade of red. He rubbed the nape of his neck and looked down. "Ah, I-I'm so s-sorry-y, I d-dint mean to. Ugh, bye!" He stuttered, then walked out and closed the door behind him, and I fell on the bed.
Well, that was awkward.
I got dressed, dried my long brown hair that reached my mid back, and got out of the room only to see Jaxon waiting down the hallway. He was thinking.
He's hot when he thinks.
He's hot when he breathes.
He's simply hot.
When Jaxon spotted me, he smiled and ran to me. He seemed normal. "Finally, come with me," he grabbed my hand and led me to his bedroom.
He locked the door behind me and looked at me seriously. Why did he lock it? Am I to be attacked?
He took a deep breath and then opened his mouth to speak. "I need to ask you a big favor, and I will do anything you ask as long as it's reasonable and I can trust you with it." He looked right into my soul with his handsome, pleading face.
Who could say no to that?
"Oh, okay?" I said, but it sounded like a question more than a statement. I was scared to tell you the truth.
"Great, now sit." He pointed at his bed, and I did. He sat next to me.
"So you know that no one knows about my job, what I do for a living," he mentioned, and I nodded. "Okay, so do you read books?" he asked calmly. I looked at him, confused at his sudden and random question.
"Yes, I do. In fact, I read a lot." When I said that, his face lit with excitement. Okay...
"Did you read One More Thought by JMK?" he asked. Now I'm curious.
I smiled and nodded. "Yes, of course I have. It is one of my favorite books ever. It's an amazing love story. I love his or her novels so much. They get me every time I read their new novels. Why do you ask?" I replied with a smile remembering the last book I read. It was a work of art.
"Good to know that you love it, so have you ever thought about the writer JMK? Who is he or she?" he asked again with hopeful eyes.
Why is he asking this kind of stuff?
And JMK?
WH-... Yes!
It clicked in my head. "Jaxon McKnight, it's you?" I asked but with excitement that got me on my feet. I couldn't believe it.
"Yes, that's me. I hope I didn't disappoint you," Jaxon stated with a smile, and I laughed.
So he's an author.
A bestseller too.
I clapped my hands. "Are you kidding? You are awesome!" I jumped and hugged him tightly, then asked: "Why are you telling me all this?"
I did not realize that we were so close to each other... I was in his arms, for God's sake! As I wanted to let go, he tightened his grip around my waist. It's a nice position.
"I told you I need a favor," he replied, reminding me of the beginning of our conversation.
"Go on," I said, still in his arm.
"You see, I'm writing a sequel, and it's called Another Thought of You, and I need a girl's point of view since I'm stuck. I have writer's block. Can you help?" he asked with a hopeful look.
It's adorable... How can I say no?
"Sure, no problem," I replied with a smile.
His face lightened and lifted me in the air spinning me around. "Thank you so much, and please don't tell anyone," he warned while looking right into my blue eyes.
"Even the boys?" I asked, raising my eyebrows.
"Especially the boys."
Wow, so he trusted me. With this. With his big secret.
He put me down and opened his laptop. "Wait, you mean now?" I asked, looking at him and then at the laptop.
"Yes," he replied.
That's going to be a long day.

Death's Daughter | Supernatural, D.W.
My life is normal, or at least relative to it. Really, how normal does life get, being the offspring of the most murderous of beings, the undertaker himself? Being Death's daughter isn't easy. Existence itself is a trying subject; even more trivial when it's based around taking the lives of (mostly) innocent people. The word mostly is an asterisk for people like Sam and Dean Winchester. My father informed me of them at a young age after a reaping that had obviously gone sideways. "If you have the chance," he instructed me, "drag those obnoxious cock roaches down to Hell, and leave them there."Then, one day, two flannel-clad idiots and their angel on a leash wander into my jurisdiction of the veil. My life has never been the same; my life has never been the preconceived notion of 'normal' that it once was.Disclaimer: I do not own any characters or plot lines from Supernatural.
