《Welcome to Hell Boys ✔》Chapter 8 - Edited Once

Jaxon
We had been in Victoria's Secret for an hour, and we were getting a lot of flirty looks from the girls in the shop and hateful glares from guys passing by. I wanted to fight those guys but did not want to make a fuss over it. Besides...We had an annoying kidnapped girl with us who could just take advantage of chaos and escape. Damn you, Ariel.
Why Victoria's secret... Why?
She had mesmerizing bright blue eyes, which were the window to your soul and could blow your mind, and she had soft pink lips, flawless skin, and long brown wavy hair. She was perfect in all meanings. I had never seen such a unique-looking girl like her, and she was amusing with her fun and cheerful character. I mean, how did she get stuck?
And why didn't she react like any other person who gets kidnapped in the middle of the night?
A normal person would scream, yell, kick, or shout for help, but she did none of that.
Owen's and Noah's argument cut me from my inner thoughts. I frowned at them and listened. "Ketchup," Noah said.
"Mayonnaise," Owen fired back.
"No, I said Ketchup," Noah countered.
"No, Ma-" I slapped Owen's head, and they shut up.
"Guys, what's the problem?" I asked with crossed arms. They looked at me with malicious smiles.
I regret asking.
"Jax listens carefully," Owen started. I nodded. "What is a better sauce with fried chips: Ketchup or Mayonnaise?"
Seriously dude? But I'm not going there today.
"I don't know," I replied. It's better not to answer that because I know if I said ketchup, I will face an angry and annoying Owen for hours and vice versa.
They sighed, but that frown turned into smiles when they saw that Ariel had finished shopping. We stopped at a lot of clothes shops and were too tired. Now I know what Aaron meant. Girls don't get tired at all from shopping whatsoever.
"That's it," she cleared, and I got up and paid for her stuff. I had no problem paying as long as I could get out of here.
"Are we done now?" I asked with hopeful eyes. Pleading to go.
"Yes," she replied, smiling, and we headed to the car. Finally.

Ariel
"So, do you know where to go now?" I asked the guys, and they shook their heads.
"No, we haven't received the call from Boss, so we have nothing to do now," Aaron replied while typing on his phone. It must be his girlfriend... We were in the car. I sat next to the window, Jaxon beside me and Aaron beside him, Noah had the shotgun, and Owen was the driver this time.
"How about we go to a park, you know to relax. Aaron could tell me about his girlfriend, and you guys wait for the call," I suggested, and they looked at me, thinking about it.
"Sounds good to me," Owen nodded with a warm smile. "Yeah, let's go," Noah replied.
"Sure," Aaron raised his thump up.
"I don't care as long as there is no walking around. My feet are killing me from your shopping spree," Jaxon complained like a whiny little kid. My fluff bear, Adrian, was more grown up than him.
"Quit complaining. I'm the victim here." I punched his shoulder real hard, and he rubbed his shoulder, showing me the most rejoicing expression for me. Pain.
"Yes! I was waiting for someone to hit him real hard, and you did pretty well by the look on his face. Good job, Ariel" Noah turned to face me and high-fived me.
"You know that's not the first time you hit him," Aaron stated calmly, and my eyes widened. What?
"When?" I asked, confused.
"Who do you think carried you from your bedroom to the car while sleeping?" Jaxon said with a pissed-off tone. He remembers the stuff that I did unconsciously.
"And what did you do to deserve that?" I asked. I know I was sleeping, but justice was with me even if I was unconscious. I'm like wonder woman but in hoodies.
"I carried you on my shoulder, and you slapped my back real hard. You hit like a man," he replied with raised eyebrows like it was my fault which it was not.
I shook my head in disapproval, then sighed."First, I hit like a woman. Second, that's your problem. Right here... You don't carry a girl on the shoulder while she's sleeping," I explained clearly, but they looked confused.

"What?" All of the boys said in unison.
"Stop that," I countered, feeling annoyed.
"Stop what?" They said again. Ugh.
"That. With your weird quadruplets' telepathy, even though you are not one," I cried for help, feeling creeped out.
"Oh, that," they said again.
"Stop it," I demanded but did not realize that we had pulled over to a small empty park with swings. I stepped out of the car and ran to the swings.
"Hey, hold on," Noah called, following along with the rest. I sat on one of the swings and started swinging. After a minute or two, Aaron sat on the swing next to mine, and Jaxon sat on a bench next to Owen. Noah sat on a swing across from us.
"So Ariel, what do you wanna know about my girlfriend?" Aaron asked with a warm smile.
"What's her name?" I asked.
"Lilly Barry," he replied. Wait, Barry?
"Are you related or something?" I pointed it out because Aaron's last name was Barry too.
He shook his head with a chuckle. "No, it was a coincidence, and I'm fortunate to have her." He cleared with soft eyes. You could see that he loved her a lot. Awe, she's lucky.
"How long have you been together?" I asked, wanting to know more.
"Four years now," he replied with a proud smile. Wow, that's a long time...
"Where did you two meet?"
"We met at one of Owen's concerts. I saw her, and I fell hard. It was love at first sight," he replied with a bit of blush of pink on his cheeks. That. Is. So Romantic.
I wish I had a boyfriend like that.
Stupid overprotective brothers.
"That's so sweet. I hope you guys get married and have a wonderful life together with kids," I clapped my hands together, feeling excited for them. He looked at me with wide eyes, then he blushed even more.
"No need to be shy now, mate. We all know that's gonna happen sooner or later," Owen teased his cousin with a smirk. So they have been listening to us? Interesting.
As I was deep in my thoughts, Jaxon's phone went off. We all looked at him and waited. "Hello," Jaxon said. "Yes...Okay, sir." He put it on speaker so we could hear. Boss's orders, huh?
"Ariel, hello. You are probably wondering why I would order to kidnap you, but I can't answer right now," he said right from the start in a deep voice, but it was familiar. His voice! Where have I heard his voice before?
"Because I can't meet you now, I have something to do in a different country, and I don't know how long it will take, so by the time I'm gone, you are staying with the boys and don't ever think of escaping, because little Adrian might suffer," he threatened with a laugh.
My eyes widened, and I rose from the swing, grabbed the phone in my hands, and squeezed it. "Listen here, you brick, if you ever dare touch one piece of his hair, I swear to God that I'm gonna beat you up till you are dead, and I'm not joking, so don't ever think of that idea again." I threatened back with an angry tone.
The boys were shocked at his threat and my response. I believed the boys would not support him in hurting my fluff bear. I hoped.
"So, you know what to do for him not to be kidnapped and tortured." With that, he ended the call. And here goes my thought of running away. I can't afford to lose my fluff bear. And that monster will pay for even thinking about hurting him.
"And you're working for him? That brick?" I pointed out to the boys with a disappointed look.
"We had to kidnap you, but he did cross the line by even thinking of hurting the boy," Noah replied, looking down. Ashamed. Well, everyone has their reasons.
"Fine, now where should we go?" I asked quietly. I felt weary all of a sudden.
"He sent me a location of a house, we are staying there until he gets here," Jaxon replied, and we all returned to the car. The silence dominated the ride.
That son of a female dog!

The Mischievous Mrs. Maxfield
***The wrong girl is sometimes The Right One.*** Charlotte Samuels thought she'd be stuck waiting tables at Marlow's until all her debts are paid off-in about ten thousand years or so. She definitely didn't expect a marriage proposal from the arrogant Brandon Maxfield who was blackmailed by his father to make her his wife if he didn't want his least favorite cousin to run Maxfield Industries. Charlotte's instinct was to say HELL NO! but she's stumped by a few obstacles: 1.) His old man Martin Maxfield is dear to her heart and has been recently deteriorating in health. 2.) She gets a million dollars if she stays married to Brandon for a year. 3.) She would rather like the opportunity to teach the attractive but awfully rude man a few lessons he didn't think he needed from a 'teenage gold-digger' which was his term of endearment for her on their first date-er, business meeting. So what's a girl got to do, right? Sure, she's young and a little rough around the edges but there's something her would-be husband didn't know about her yet-she's nothing like he ever expected. Thrust into the glitzy world a standard-issue Mrs. Maxfield would fit perfectly and rule with impeccable social grace, Charlotte will either have to force herself into the mold or break free of it, risking what little she has left for everything that she can gain.*** Copyright © 2014 by Nina Tippett.
