《Unexpected | Baldi x Reader (Fluff/Lemon)》Chapter 14: Plan

Art is by on !!
I woke up with a baggy t-shirt on and no underwear, sweat covering my body. I went to sit up, but I was being restrained by something. I batted my eyes and mumbled, still half asleep. Looking over, I saw Baldi laying next to me.
His arms were wrapped protectively around me. It was warm... a little too warm.
No underwear... I thought, rubbing my eyes. Baggy shirt... not my bed... My thoughts slowly articulated themselves as I pieced the memories together.
The flashback of me running away, playing Minecraft with Baldi, then... doing something else... ran through my mind.
My cheeks flushed at the thought. Remembering made my hips hurt. I tried again to pry myself from his grip, but he just held on tighter, muttering something in his sleep. It sounded like 'No, not yet' and 'You can't have her'.
"Baldi," I whispered, pulling on his arm. "Let me go."
He grumbled, pulling one arm away from me but leaving the other. "Who is it?..."
I laughed and took the opportunity to roll over to face him. "It's me, silly. (Y/N)."
As soon as I finished saying my own name, Baldi's eyes shot open and he pulled me to his chest, my face pressing against his collarbone. "(Y/N)!" He yelled, breathing heavily and looking down at me.
"What is wrong with you?..." Laughing, I placed my hands on the sides of his arms, being they were the only thing I could move.
"Oh my God, you're okay," he panted, running a hand through my hair, the tension in his chest releasing. "My little angel."
He looked so utterly relieved. He was wide awake too, like he'd never been asleep. His little outburst woke me up more too.
I put my hand on his, resting against my cheek. "I'm fine, I'm fine. But the question is, are you?"
His eyes scanned me, the strands of hair sticking to my face and the over-sized T-shirt draped over my shoulders. He paused for a second and then nodded. "Yes, I-I'm fine. I just had a bad nightmare. But it gave me an idea. Or a plan, really."

"What are you talking about...?"
His hands released from me and he stood up, looking out of one the many windows through the doorway. "I had a dream. I was at work, and you were missing. At the end of the day the Principal called me to a meeting and told me he knew about us and that..." His voice trailed off and he turned to me. "If I didn't beat more of the kids that I'd lose you."
My heart dropped and I scurried over to his side, shaking my head. "It was just a dream," I reassured him, though I had a bad feeling about something. "The Principal can be a cunt, but that's never gonna happen."
He turned to me and shook his head violently. "No. It's going to happen. And I'm gonna stop it." He sounded angry, spiteful, determined. "He won't touch you. I won't let him."
I was a little startled by his sudden energy. At the moment... he reminded me of that other side of him. The bolder, meaner, more daring side. The one I saw last night, at school, and now. It was pretty clear to me now that he was kind of double sided.
The sweet, loving, nervous side, and the polar opposite; the daredevil.
"And if he does..." he grabbed his head. "I'll kill him."
"Baldi!" I yelled, grabbing his hand and pulling him to face me. "Calm down. I don't know the extent of your nightmare, but something is wrong. No one is dying."
His face filled with despair. He put his hands on my shoulders. "Please, (Y/N). You have to trust me. Something is going to happen, I can feel it."
I nervously laughed. I glanced over at the clock. 5:58 AM. It was early, and he clearly didn't get enough sleep.
A deep urge to take care of him filled me. "No. You need more sleep. And you need to get your mind off of the nightmare. You can get ready later."

"We're getting up. We have things to do. You don't even have clothes to wear, (Y/N)."
I sighed. He made sense. Despite wanting him to get at least another half hour of sleep, I decided to go with what he said. It was better than arguing with this side of him.
"I'm going to get you clothes before school. You stay here." He pulled the buttoned shirt on and slipped the vest over top, securing a tie around his neck. He finished getting ready rather quickly, wearing dress pants and his normal brown shoes.
Why's he all dressed up? I asked myself. He turned to me, clipping his belt. "Feel free to take a shower while I'm gone. I'll be back soon."
He leaned over and kissed the top of my head, grabbing his things off of the dining room table.
He left before I could ask him how he knew what size clothes I wore. I stumbled out of the bed, pulling at the T-shirt. It clearly belonged to him.
"Might as well shower." I told myself, throwing the shirt off and into a nearby clothes basket. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
I looked pretty worn down. Bruises scaling the side of my neck, my hair a mess, red marks around my hips from him gripping them.
He was... odd. Extremely two-faced, mysterious. But I couldn't stay away from him. We were like polar magnets. And I genuinely did love him in a way that I couldn't describe. But remembering all of the little smiles he gave me in class, the little interactions we had, our little scandal last night, my heart warmed back up to him again.

I finished drying off when I heard the door open. I sighed in relief. A few sharp knocks on the door caught my attention when I heard his unforgettable voice call through the door.
"I bring gifts," his tone was light and teasing. I smiled. I was glad that that side of him returned. "Those gifts just being new clothes."
I wrapped the towel around me and opened the door, looking up at him with a grin, taking the bundle of clothes in one arm. "Thank you."
He turned and closed the door behind him.
I dropped the clothes on the floor while trying to fix my towel. There was enough clothes to last me the rest of the week.
I picked up a small pink blouse with a peter pan collar. This is kinda cute, I smiled and pulled it on. It fit perfectly. It was kind of creepy how accurate he was to my size and taste. But I didn't doubt he was smart.
Pulling a black skirt and socks on, I stepped out and saw him sitting on the bed with his legs crossed on his phone, waiting. I held the rest of the clothes in my arms and stepped out, setting them on the bed to deal with later.
He looked up at me and smiled, his cheeks flushing a tiny bit. "Just as cute as I imagined." He teased, sliding his phone into his pocket. "Let's get going then."
I hid my face in my hands and laughed happily, sliding my shoes on and staying close to him. The weekend was soon enough, and I could finally relax.
He led me to his car, and I almost forgot my backpack on the way. He pulled out onto the street, and I nervously fiddled with the cat key-chains on my backpack.
Maybe something was going to happen today.
