Go on, the Voice urged. You know you want to.
"Be quiet!"
No need to be rude, the Voice chided. I just want to see if you can do it. You probably can't...
"Enough!" she shouted, and a knot of sparrows startled from the branches above, annoyed at this interloper in their peaceful wild home.
