I entered the guitar store, the only one for miles. The guys in there looked at me like I couldn't afford anything in there. And they were right.

I saw one for only $100, which was nothing compared to the others. But it was all of the money I had.

"Can I see that one?" I asked, the guy brought it down and I bought it. And that was the only thing I bought for a while.

I went to my room with the guitar in hand. I wrapped it in pink gaffa tape.

He'll love it.

Later on, I drove until I found Feonix. I knew he'd be at our grave though.

"Hey Nads." He's called me that a lot recently, I told him I hated it, but secretly I loved it. Only because he was saying it.

"Hey, I have something for you." I held the guitar behind my back and he spun me around, stopping me once he saw the gift.

"That's sick! Is it for me?" He asked, already knowing the answer.

"Yeah, it is."

"I love it."

Back at school Feonix and I hadn't really spoken, mostly just to avoid any controversy and drama. I didn't want to bring him into my toxic group, that wasn't fair on him.

I was just hoping he didn't take it too personal.

"Hey Nadine! You coming to Drunk face tonight?" Elle asked me. Drunk face was the bar across town. They never asked for ID so we went there a lot.

"What's happening at Drunk face?"

"Nothing, we're just, hanging out. You know? What friends do." She replied, a sour look plastered across her pretty little face.

"Sure. Can Feonix come?"

"Um, I don't know about that. Jaden's gonna be there and I just don't think that's a good idea. That and he's still kinda weird. Regardless him dating you, he's a freak."

"We're not dating. And he's not a freak, or a weirdo."

"Look, whatever Nadine, are you coming or not?"
