Railtopia was a small town back in the 1860s as there was an engine name Martha Grant. She also has a few engines with her from the Old Colony Railroad as they had trains full of runaway slaves getting out of the coaches for safety. Through the American Civil War, both man and engine fought together as they drive away the enemies. After that, they all made peace and make the town expand into a city.

Throughout the 1900s, steam locomotives were purchased here to help with the increasing freight and passengers. It went pretty well as they got mostly a few from the UK.

Throughout the US too, they purchased other types too. They all prove to be very useful and bold. The result was that they were able to help.

But in later years, more types were purchase. Not only that, but others too like diesels, electric engines and gas turbine engines. They all at first didn't want to work along side the steamies, but shortly warmed up to them. Even the steam turbines too.

In 1970, the UP GTELs were withdrawn and purchased to Railtopia. They were able to be converted from their bad reputations to being useful again as they are now experimentally running on mostly water and oil. The coal turbine remains on it's own power though.

In 1975 however, Martha Grant died during a war while saving Zoey. She gotten blown up by a fighter jet.

Throughout the years, each engine was purchase from their former railways as well to help the economy to alive. As well as being really useful.

In 1981, the EMD DD35As and DD35s were purchased to Railtopia as well. In which they were all useful as well.

As the years pass, Railtopia was the greatest city like no other, even to this day.
