Sun shone on Cameran palace. It was a lovely morning. Ash was lying on his bed. Lucario came in and tried wake him up but that didn't do a thing so he telepathically told him to wake up.

'Wake up Ash we need to get going.'

"Five more minutes mom."

'Either you wake up or I'll find water type to give you a nice bath on the bed itself; and will tell that a 6-and-a-half-year-old boy peed in bed.'

"Hey I'm up; I'm up. Don't do such embarrassing thing to me."

I woke up because of threat Lucario gave me. I looked at the clock. It was 7 am. Why do I need to get up this early?

"Why do I need to get up this early?"

'From today your training starts. But today I let you sleep for long enough. From tomorrow you'll wake up at 5 am. Now get ready we need to go and see what mew has for you.'

I got ready. We gathered and had breakfast with mom, sis, Gary and prof. Lance left yesterday itself; for his champion duties.

"Lucario take good care of my son okay."

'I will. Now Ash get on my back so we can get there faster.'

"Why run when we can fly? Right Pidgeot."

Pidgeot nodded in agreement. He lowered himself to allow us to climb on it's back. I mounted Pidgeot with Lucario. He spread his wings. And we took off. Last thing I heard mom telling us to take good care of ourself and not to take so long.

"We will" I shouted back.

It was a beautiful view from Pidgeot's back. I could see the palace in the middle of the lake. A bridge joining to sides of the lake through the palace. The water was glittering. It was reflecting the beautiful sky. Sun was ascending from the east. We were traveling towards a mountain. Lucario told me that the

' resides inside the mountainWe lowered and came near the entrance. After going inside Lucario touched the crystals. Closed his eyes and crystal started to glow. After sometime I heard some rumble. Then three Pokémon made of steel, ice, and rock came in site.

'they are the Regi trio. They will guide us to the tree.'

"Cool"

It was a complete maze inside it. And man, that was a hard climb. Finally, we reached at the tree. It is huge.

Suddenly a pink cat came in our view. It talked to Lucario about something. Then it came to me. It put it's paw on my head. It glowed and I started to feel dizzy again. It just giggled.

I woke up by hearing so giggling sound. I saw the pink cat was looking at me.

"Hi there Mew." I said getting up.

Wait a minute... I haven't met Mew earlier then how come I know that it's Mew. I asked her my question. She told me that she knows everything about Pokémon. Because she is the DNA Pokémon. She told me that she gave me all the knowledge I will need. She insisted on playing for some time. We played till evening. It was it to go back. She came and gave an egg.

'Pokémon which will hatch will help you learn your psychic powers. You two will learn together to master your powers.'

"Thank you Mew."

'Now I will teleport you to the palace.'

With that we were at the entrance of the palace. We went inside told them what happened except having the knowledge about every Pokémon. Then I officially captured Lucario. Kept the egg into the incubator. Let everyone for dinner.

Tomorrow my training will start. I just can't wait.

Ash PoV

We practiced every day. My training was going well. The egg Mew gave me hatched and an unusual red Ralts came out of it.

Since then we three are practicing together. Ralts evolved into a Kirlia. Lucario taught me aura speech and aura vision. Kirlia taught me telepathy and levitating myself and other things around me. Every day I woke up at 5 trained 2 hours and went to help prof. First few days were hard but then I started to catch up with Lucario.

Once in a month we go to meet sis. She told that as a prince I needed to learn few manners. Specially, when it came to eating. We live there for a week or so. I learned how to ride a Ponyta. There was a rather different and shy Ponyta in the stable. He had blue flames.

It was hard to gain his trust. He only listened to me. So, sis sent him with me. Kirlia liked to stay out of the pokéball with me. Which us to become center of attraction. So, we had trip to mew again to see if she could help. Legendries having human form helped us and she gave Kirlia her own human form and I cannot deny the fact that she looks attractive. I named her Laura, because calling her Kirlia in public wasn't right.

After mornings training, I go to Prof. lab to learn, to help, and to give unknown information about Pokémon. Professor always listened to me with curiosity. But what I learned from him is how to understand Pokémon's food habits. How to take care or should I say groom them.

We train with Gary and other Pokémon in the evening. Togepi evolved into Togetic, Magby in to Magmar, And lastly Dratini into Dragonair. Everyone was so power full that they were almost able to keep up with Lucario. Now I was learning how to create an aura sphere.

"Bone-rush is easier than this." I complained.

'Ash first calm yourself. Then feel the aura flowing from all the living beings which surround you. Now take a deep breath. Now close your eyes. Now focus your attention in front of your hands. Feel the aura gathering at that point. Focus. Stay calm. Believe in yourself that you can do it.'

I was following his each and every order. I could feel the energy gathering in front me in a form of ball.

'Now through at that bolder.'

I threw it at it but instead it went and it a tree. A big swarm of angry beedrill came out.

"Laura use teleport." I shouted at the tip of my voice. "Well that was close. Anyway, let's get ready to go to the lab."

We reached at the lab. Lucario decided to stay in his pokéball. Laura turned to her human form. We saw that prof. was busy with something.

"What's happening professor?"

"Well I have arranged a summer camp which starts tomorrow. Many children from different regions and reginal professors will be coming. And you and Gary are attending too. Now today we won't be studying about Pokémon except giving the food. We need to prepare this place for camp."

Today we just helped him prepare everything. In free time me and Gary studied about the reginal starters for a while. Well even though I had all knowledge. Starts were decided by humans and not by nature. It was a five-day camp. Professor told that others will be coming tomorrow at 10 am. We need to be at the lab at 9 am. To greet them as his apprentices.

----- time skip ---- to next day

It was a bright morning. Today we decided to skip the training and have a rest day. We reached at the lab.

"Hey Ash, come over here." Prof. Oak called me. I went to him. He took me inside the lab. We needed to move some boxes; arrange water supply.

While we were on it Prof. started to talk;

"Now Ash I wanted to talk about something. You see that you gave been telling some of the most marvelous and unknown things about Pokémon. Looking at the knowledge you have and the one you have given to me; I decided to publish it under your name."

"Why so prof.? I mean I am not old enough and I don't even want it under my name. Besides why didn't you tell me earlier? And why now?"

"Well you see someone who deserves the credit is the person who should have it. And about your next question, I talked about your knowledge and friendship with Pokémon to other professors. They want to meet you in person. And after everything that you have told me they just can't wait. Now I'm counting on you to prove that what I said is true."

"I won't let you down Prof."

We just finished arranging everything and were about to sit under the reliving shadow of lush green trees; when we heard some vehicles stop at the entrance.

"Looks like they are here. Let's go greet them."

I called out Togetic and Eevee since both of them liked to make friends. Dragonair is the shyest of all of them. And Magmar is just to hot that he'll burn everyone around him.

After introduction they Prof. Oak told us that today was the day to roam around and make friends with each other. Everyone just ran onto the field. Some went to the grass type Pokémon. Some admired and played with water type Pokémon. Some were just running here and there. I saw Gary run away to some kids with his Eevee.

At some distance I saw a girl. She had blonde hair. Emerald green eyes. She was wearing a white frock. She was patting an oddish. She seemed pretty shy cause she was alone and rather away from other children. I gestured others that we should go there and talk to her. Laura looked a bit hesitant. Be had no choice since Eevee already ran to her.

"Hi there I am Ash. I am from pallet town itself. And this in Laura, Togetic and Eevee."

"Umm... H-hi I am Lil-ll-lie. I cam-me from Alo-ola regi-on with profe-essor Kakui."

"Hey no need to stutter like that. I am just here to become friends with you. So do you like Pokémon."

"Yeah I love them. They are just amazing aren't they."

"Yes, they are. Mind if we sit with you."

"Of course not." She said while petting Eevee's head.

"so, Lillie how is Kanto? And how is Alola? I've never traveled before outta region before."

"This is also my first time. Usually I don't go someplace without my mother. And till now I have like Kanto. The air is fresh and there are many Pokémon....." We talked for a while until professor called me.

'Looks like it's time.' I thought to myself. I walked into the lab where all professors where sitting and where talking about their research. I entered the room with Togetic and Laura by my side and Eevee walking in front me.

"Hi their professor." I called out.

"Oh, Ash I see you came faster than I expected." Then he turned to wards others. "Well guys this is my assistant, apprentice I've been talking about."

"So, this kid huh... He sure looks interesting. Having a Togetic is rare. Hi there sweetie what is your name?" I am prof. Juniper from Unova region." said prof. Juniper.

"My name is Ash and this is my friend Togetic, Eevee and Laura. I am glad to meet you all; but I didn't want to prof. to do this."

"Well kid shoe us that what prof. said is true." said one of the professors with a stern voice.

"Sorry prof. not mean to offend you but I didn't get your name. And by the way you asked me shows your total disbelief in Prof. Oak. Well I think it's pretty obvious that you will be at least expecting a nearly twenty-year-old boy or girl." I saw that expressions on his face changed.

"Well now to prove the fact that what prof. said is true I would like to share some of my opinions about fairy type Pokémon and mega evolution."

With that said some professor looked at me with curiosity.

"Starting with the Fairy type Pokémon I deny the fact that you have put forth them existing only in Kalos and Alola region. Well you see we tend to look at the bigger picture and that's when we miss the small and necessary details. I won't deny the fact that Prof. Sycamore was the first person to bring the in light. Sorry I don't actually know your names so I can't actually looke at some one particular. But the thing is that Sylveon was the eeveelution witch brought Fairy type Pokémon in light and was a stepping stone to study fairy type. But that does not mean that other regions don't have them. We all know that Fairy type Pokémon are rare. When we look at it closely we found that they are there for us in some places in our day to day life. Like here in Kanto we have to may sightings of clafairy near Mt. Moon. Or there is wigglytuff we see at the Pokémon centers and jigglypuff we sometimes encounter in wild. Or the existence Gardevoir in Hoenne region we don't take in consideration. We see Mr. Mime at the circus. I think I've made my point so far about Fairy type Pokémon." I took a break and drank some water and let them sync the information. Then I stated again.

"Now coming towards the Mega-evolution part I have to say Prof. Sycamore has done some research about it. But I would like to deny the statement that they are found in Kalos region as I remember my father Red Ketchum using a charizardite x to mega evolve his Charizard at battle where he had to defend his title." I paused for a moment as the memories of the dad having Pokémon battle which I saw on Xtransceiver rushed into my mind.

"Well going forward mega-evolution boosts Pokémon's attack and defense. This is caused because of bond Pokémon and trainer possess causes the life energy otherwise known as Aura to temporarily boost the Pokémons stats."

"So, you are Red's son huh... your Father was a great trainer. But no one has seen him nearly a decade. I am professor Elm. He completed the Jhoto pokedex for me. And as for you, you proved that you are the person professor Oak was talking about. Red sure must be proud of you."

"Just as Prof. says Ash. Sorry for being that like earlier but no one thought that you will have such speech prepared for us. Prof. Oak is really lucky to have an apprentice like you." said. Prof. Rowen.

"Well it's my pleasure to learn under Prof. Oak."

After their introduction to me, they decided to call it a day and called everyone inside. At dinner Lillie introduced me to her brother Gladion and friends Mallow, Lana. I introduced them to Gary who brought a boy with him called Ritchie. We talked for a while until everyone was called to sleep. Mom had allowed me stay at lab with others and Gary. I secretively returned Laura back into her pokéball. Recalling Togetic wasn't any problem. Prof. gave created room as per the regions and showed us our room. I slept with Eevee curled besides me.
