《My Step-Brother's Dirty Secret (BoyxBoy)》*Bonus Chapter*

I sat quietly on the couch and ate my hot cheetos in peace. I was watching Attack on Titans on Netflix for the first time and so far didn't regret it.
It was entertaining so I've been stuck on this couch for almost three hours now just watching episode after episode.
Perfect way to spend a lazy Sunday.
"Royce, want to come with me to the football game with some friends." Pablo's annoying voice yelled from the kitchen.
"No." I replied and stuffed more chips into my mouth and wiped my fingers on my shirt, not caring if I stained it.
"C'mon! you've been on that couch all morning. Plus, it's really nice outside." Pablo tried to persuade me but failed miserably once mentioning going outside.
I would rather be a vampire and avoid the sun for today.
"Can you get me a drink from the fridge then?" I asked.
Pablo grabbed a blue gatorade from the fridge and handed it to me. He stood by the couch as I opened my drink and kept waiting.
"What?" I questioned, annoyed with his stare.
"Let's go, you said you were going." he answered.
I held back a laugh and couldn't help but smirk. "I never said that." I replied and stared back at the t.v.
"Yes you did! You wanted a drink first!" Pablo protested, like I was actually paying attention to him.
"No, I simply said if you could get me a drink but your little brain took it as an agreement that I would go." I stated and threw a chip at him. "Now leave me alone."
Pablo rolled his eyes and wiped his cheek. "I'm just going to pretend you didn't just hit me with a cheeto. See you later and don't forget today is Mother's Day." he said right before leaving.
Mother's Day? Like I cared.
I continued to eat my chips and got comfortable in my spot again but of course was interrupted once more.
"Royce, I'm going to work so I want you to help Angela buy groceries today." my dad instructed as he entered the kitchen.
I groaned and ignored him. He soon left leaving me peacefully alone.
I smiled once a new episode started to play but Angela's voice had to ruin it.
"Royce, are you ready to go?" she questioned with her usual kind smile.
"You know...you have a son upstairs that would love to go grocery shopping with you." I said with a fake smile.
Angela grabbed her purse and stood by the staircase. "Chris said he was feeling a bit tired today so I think he just needs some rest." she replied.
I smirked knowing why the brat would feel so tired. Yesterday I snuck into his room and made love to him almost all night.
The hickeys on my neck and the scratches on my back was the only evidence left behind.
"Plus, it would be a perfect opportunity for us to hangout!" Angela said with pure enjoy making me groan into the arm of the couch.
Why did the world hate me so much..

I quickly changed out of my lazy clothes and put on a simple shirt and jeans before going into the brat's room. I wanted to just get the shopping over with.
The brat was sleeping soundly on his bed and had no blankets on top of him.
I walked over to him and couldn't help but lean down and suck a bruise on his exposed collarbone.
He already had some hickeys fading like mine so now he had a better one to show off. Good luck explaining that to your mom I thought in my head as I sneaked out of his room but not before kissing the corner of his mouth.
Angela and I both got into her car with different face expressions. She was smiling and was happy while I had a natural glare of misery.
I put on my seatbelt as Angela started to drive down our neighborhood. It was quiet so Angela decided to put her favorite CD on.
I waited for the music to play and begged it was something good but oh how wrong I was...
'Stained coffee cup..
Just a fingerprint of lipstick's not enough...
Sweet where you lay, still a trace of innocene on my pillow case..'
Angela raised the volume and started to sing along even though she couldn't sing to save her life.
I had no idea she was a One Direction fan which really surprised me. She was acting like a total teenager and I had no idea how to react to this.
This was the definiton of torture.
The idea to open the car door and just jump out was starting to sound pleasant as Angela started to do some funny choregraphy to the song.
'Waking up! ...beside you I'm a loaded gun!
I can't contain this anymore..I'm all yours, I got no control, no control
Powerless and I don't care it's obvious
I just can't get enough of you
The pedal's down, my eyes are closed
No control!'
I covered my ears which made Angela laugh and lower the volume. "Sorry my inner Directioner came out." she blushed and fixed her hair.
Okay...not weird at all...
Once we arrived at the store I grabbed a shopping cart and followed Angela down the food aisles.
A lot of Mother's day things were displayed in the store making me uncomfortable.
I never liked Mother's Day.
"Royce, you want anything special for dinner?" Angela questioned once she noticed me staring at a table with cute mother day things.
"No, make whatever you want." I replied and stared somewhere else.
"We can get some ice-cream!" Angela tried to persuade like I was a toddler.
"Really? and can we also get sprinkles!?" I asked in a fake excitment before leaving to another aisle.
I don't know why sometimes I really hated Angela and her happy attitude. It was just annoying.
I went up to the girl giving free food samples and grabbed a small eggroll.
"Do you like them?" the brunette girl questioned with a smile a bit too big for my liking.
"I'm not sure yet, let me try five more then I'll tell you." I replied and ate more of the eggrolls that were actually good.

The girl giggled and watched me eat which made me slightly glare at her. I grabbed one more eggroll and left without saying another word to the weird chick.
I slipped my hands into my jacket and wandered around the boring store until I found Angela by the frozen foods.
She was talking to what seemed to be the manager as she pointed to a bag of ice.
I approached them and could see the bag of ice ripped with ice cubes threatening to fall.
"Ma'm you need to pay for the bag of ice." the bald manager kept repeating.
"I'm telling you that I didn't do any damage to the bag of ice. I was trying to get the one under this one and found it already ripped." Angela tried to defend herself, but was obviously too kind to raise her voice while the manager had no problem giving her a dirty look.
"Sure you were, now just pay for the bag of ice." the manager said in a bored tone.
"She's not paying for it." I commented, making the bald man stare back at me along with Angela.
"This is between me and this woman so please leave." the manager told me now starting to get angry.
"Well now it's between us." I said pointing at him and back at me. "So keep running your fat mouth."
"Excuse me you little punk, this doesn't involve you. She ripped the bag of ice so now she has to pay for it whether she likes it or not. Don't make me call the police." he threatened a bit out of breath.
I laughed in his face and shoved him away. "Call the police but just know that won't stop me from breaking your fucking arm." I replied.
The manager seemed to be debating on what to do as I narrowed my eyes at him.
"Royce, it's okay no need for so much trouble. I'll just pay for the bag of ice. We can always use extra ice at home anyways." Angela said stepping between us and starting to place the ripped ice bag in her cart.
I quickly grabbed the bag of ice from the cart and threw it across the food aisle. It completely ripped open causing the ice to scatter all over the floor.
"Like I said, she isn't paying for it." I stated with a serious stare.
The manager didn't say anything and decided to just call an employee to pick up the mess. Angela seemed surprised by his calm actions but it was no surprise to me.
Jerks like him think they can step over nice people like Angela but sometimes they just needed to get put back in their place.
"Are you done shopping?" I asked Angela as I stole a couple of grapes from her shopping cart.
She nodded and we both walked towards the checkout line.
I started to read a magazine while Angela was taking out her coupons for some of the food being scanned.
"Angela is that you?" somebody said behind me.
I turned around and saw a woman maybe Angela's age but a bit older standing there with her own shopping cart.
She wore bright lipstick with blue eyeshadow that made me cringe at the sight. This woman was obviously going through menopause...
"Rachel how are you? So beautiful as always!" Angela replied with a smile.
"Keep telling her that and she'll actually believe it." I mumbled to myself as I skimmed through the magazine.
The two of them hugged like it was some type of family reunion making me try to escape before anybody saw us together.
"And who is that handsome guy beside you?" Rachel's flirty voice spoke up so loud it made me feel like I just sucked on a lemon.
"Oh this is Royce, he's my s-"
"Nice to meet you." I cut off Angela before she could finish introducing me as her 'son'.
Angela forced a smile on her face and played it off like it didn't bother her. I shook Rachel's wrinkly hand and made sure to wipe my hand on my jeans afterwards.
"I need to pay, it was nice seeing you again Rachel." Angela politely excused herself and left me alone with the mummy.
"Well aren't you just a handsome man. Tell me something Royce...are you a virgin?" Rachel dared to ask like it was a normal conversation.
I opened my magazine again and shrugged. "Nah." I replied.
"Then would you be interested in being spoiled by a rich woman for some favors in return?" she questioned and started to lightly rub my arm.
Before I could reply, Angela stepped between us and took Rachel's hand off of me in a not so nice manner. "Please keep your hands off my son. He isn't some piece of meat." she said so seriously it made me hold back a laugh.
Damn, who knew Angela was a thug deep down inside.
"Oh I apologize.." Rachel dismissed herself.
Angela's stare changed and soon she was her happy self again. "Well lets get going before your dad gets home and dinner isn't ready." she calmly told me.
I was confused for a moment as I followed Angela out of the store. She pushed the shopping cart with a smile while I slowly walked behind her realizing some women were badass by nature.
Or more like all females were amazing but men didn't realize it...
I walked by a flower stand that was selling beautiful roses with sweet mother's day cards in them. I couldn't help but quickly buy a white rose that caught my eye.
Once Angela opened the car door to put in the groceries she turned around giving me the perfect opportunity to surprise her with the rose.
Her expression was priceless.
I didn't know why her eyes got watery as she accepted the flower like it was the most precious gift she has ever received.
"Happy Mother's Day Ang- I mean mom." I said which caused Angela to finally burst out crying.
Oh these women and their emotions I thought to myself with a smile..

The Stormcrow Cycle
Once a powerful and lauded witch, Ba'an salu-Ba'an now lives alone in a cave in the desert, waiting to die. When she rescues an outlander from certain death she becomes embroiled in a deadly game of politics and empire, of heart and soul, but worst of all--of hope and love and a chance at a peaceful future. Can a disgraced witch find a reason to live her life again--and if so, what price must she pay? The Stormcrow Cycle is a trilogy comprising of The Exile, The Lion, and Abomination. Tags or genres for each book: The Exile: romance, slice-of-life The Lion: romance, slice-of-life, politics Abomination: tragedy, high/epic fantasy (aka "Everything is on fire!") Updates once a week whenever I have time. Cross-posted on Wattpad and Scribble Hub. The CBMokedi cover will return! Excerpt: She looked down at him again. Young. Healthy, from what she could see, except for the wound that was killing him. He was handsome in a way that suggested a life of wealth and plenty. She did not think he had ever starved. Someone important. Her shadow fell across him, and he frowned. Blearily, he opened his eyes. They were amber and bright, even as he lay dying in the dirt. She could feel his soul, blazing inside of him like a fire refusing to die even as his body began to fail. He met her gaze, eyes widening in what she guessed was surprise—or shock. But he never looked away, staring up at her as though transfixed. Ba’an made her decision. She raised her hand and covered his eyes. In another moment, a murder of crows cawed as they took wing. The man and woman were gone from the road, leaving only the dead staring up into the sky. Note: This is a high-fantasy set in a low-magic world. The first book is largely character-driven and we really only hit the real plot in Book II, so if you're not fond of long epic yarns you ought to skip this one. I also don't include trigger warnings, but mind the "traumatizing content" tag--all societies minus one practice slavery and the world is indeed, rather grim!
