Today was the day, Tubbo stood in the airport's busy pick-up area checking his phone. He looked up and around the thriving building, excited for the days of exploration and meet-ups to come. Then his eyes caught on a familiar person's shape, and Tubbo's eyes widened. Ranboo walked up to him and waved, opening his mouth to say hello but never saying the words. Tubbo launched into him and hugged him. Ranboo was caught by surprise.

"Geez, I didn't know you missed me this much!" Ranboo remarked, getting a low kick from Tubbo, "You act like you haven't seen or heard from me for years."

Tubbo felt his eyes begin to burn again.

"I-" Tubbo's voice cracked, "Why would I miss someone who filled my fridge with f***ing Fanta?"

Ranboo frowned, "Hey! Don't insult the Fanta shelf!"

Tubbo giggled a bit, the burning in his eyes dissipating.

Ranboo's eyes went wide and he stared down at Tubbo, "Are you crying!?"

Tubbo dragged himself away from Ranboo and rubbed his eyes.

"No," Tubbo said bluntly and then grabbed his bags.

"Okay..." Ranboo blinked, "Let's just go to the car."

Tubbo nodded and the two headed to the parking lot, Tubbo couldn't wait to see what America was really like.

Tubbo sat on his temporary white-covered bed, his room bright and spacious. The day's events passed through his head at ten million miles per hour. He smiled, and then looked out the window at the chaos of the city. The past months of sleepless nights and bad dreams faded from his mind. New excitement and passion-filled his whole body and made him feel like he had just been freed from a cage. Tubbo closed his eyes and took a deep breath in.

I can't wait for tomorrow.
