《Undead Nightmare》Chapter 3: Law Of The DEAD

Y/N and Busujima along with miss Shizuka had joined up with a few more survivors forming an even larger group. As they talk about what to do next, Y/N gets a better idea of the people he is surviving with. Before they can even come up with a plan everyone learns about what is going on. The outbreak wasn't just kept to the school and the town. It had spread everywhere, all over Japan and its many cities and even other countries as well. Things were looking far more bad then they were already looking, now Y/N and the others hand to come up with a completely different plan then before.
The main goal was for them to get out of the school and find a vehicle that could take them out of here. Using the knowledge that Y/N and the others had gathered, maneuvering around the undead would be easy. They just had to make sure they didn't make any sound or get all that close to them. As Y/N learned they can smell the difference between infected flesh and none infected flesh. With all of their weapons ready, Y/N and the others left the workshop and headed towards the exit doors of the school.

Halls: Fujimi Academy
The plan was really simple, all of us would quietly sneak around the halls towards the doors so we could get out of here without attracting any attention from the zombies. Komuro and the others had cleaned and readied their weapons just in case something did happen. I had made a makeshift spray that would mask our scent and make us smell like we were one of the zombies. Hopefully it would work well enough so we could get out of here without having any problems. All seven us slowly crept through the halls of the school trying to find the staircase that lead to the exit.
As we crept slowly, Hirano and I kept an eye out for any zombies that could try to come up behind us. Komuro and Miyamoto kept an eye on the front for the same reason. Busujima was making sure that miss Shizuka and Takagi were kept safe in the middle. When we went to turn a corner, we suddenly ran into another group of students.
"Woah there" Komuro said as we ran into them
"What are you guys doing?" One of the students asked us
"We're trying to get to the school parking lot" Komuro answered
"So are we" one of the students answered
"We all need to be quiet before they hear us" I said trying to get them to be quiet
"Tatagami is right, we all need to be quiet" Hirano said agreeing with me
"There's a bus that can take all of us out here, I've got the keys for it" one of the students said showing us the keys to a bus outside
"I can drive it" miss Shizuka said speaking up
"Sounds like a plan now let's get downstairs but be quiet" I said taking the lead
"We'll fellow behind you" Komuro said walking behind me
"What do we do if we run into more of those things?" One of the students asked
"I've got some wet rags we can throw to distract them" Miyamoto said
"Once they move we can continue but just in case they don't, we destroy the brain" I said taking out my tanto
With a new plan formed my group and the other group of students began to go down the stairs as quietly as we could. If we encountered a zombie while we were going down the stairs, Miyamoto and Takagi would throw rags to distract them and get them to move. If they didn't, well Komuro and I took care of them as quietly as we could. Once we had reached the bottom of the stairs, we could see the doors to the outside right in front of us. The only problem was that there was a large group of zombies blocking the way. Backed up on the stairs, we needed to come up with a new plan to get all of the zombies to move.

"Now what do we do?" One of the students asked me whispering
"Miyamoto, Takagi, got any more of those rags?" I asked the two girls
"We've only got a few left" Miyamoto answered
"I don't think it is going to be enough to get all of them to move" Takagi said
I saw how many rags they had left, while it wasn't a lot it would be enough for us to get a majority of the zombies to move
"I can make this work" I said
The girls handed me the rags they had left and I got into a perfect position to throw them. I quickly threw the rags down the hall away from the doors, causing them to hit some of the lockers. I also managed to hit one of the classroom door handles causing the door to open, making even more noise. Once the zombies heard the noise they slowly shambled over to where they had heard the noise. Slowly I got the others behind me to head towards the doors and open them quietly. Once people started to head outside, I stayed back to make sure no zombies shambled over.
It was then that one of the students we had met up with accidentally banged the back of his pipe onto one the stairs. That noise quickly drew the attention of all the zombies around us and made them start to come towards us. At that point there wasn't much reason to be quiet.
"Alright everyone head to the doors" I said loudly as I drew my wakizashi
Immediately the zombies began to swarm us as we tried to escape the school. Some of the students that joined us didn't make it all that far, they were grabbed and taken down by the zombies. One of the zombies tried to grab me but I killed it before it could bite me. While I was doing that, I was also trying get as many people outside and away from the zombies as I could. Before I knew it, we were overrun and the only place we could go to get away from them was outside. I tried to barricade the doors but the zombies pushed them open so I ran to join up with the others.
As we ran through the parking lot we saw the bus in front of us, luckily I had grabbed the keys of the student that had them before he got eaten. We also saw another group of survivors running towards the bus. It was more students but among them was a teacher, not just any teacher but Mr. Shido. Someone that I had certain "problems" with before this whole outbreak happened. Miyamoto saw him too and I could see the look on her face, I had heard about what happened with her and Mr. Shido.
"Everyone on the bus" Mr. Shido said
All of us got on the bus as quickly as we could as the horde of zombies followed behind us
"Miss Shizuka the keys" I said tossing miss Shizuka the keys to the bus
She quickly sat down and put the keys into the ignition, starting the bus and driving through the school gates. We had finally made it out of that nightmare school, now we were headed to the city. I grabbed a seat next to Busujima and watched as Mr. Shido talked to his students.
"I have a really bad feeling about this" I said out loud

Inside The Bus: Outside The City
Y/N and the others had managed to escape from Fujimi Academy and made it to bus so they could get to the city. Along the way they picked up another group of survivors lead by a teacher by the name of Koichi Shido or just Mr. Shido. Y/N had problems with the teacher in the past as he was the reason for most of his problems at school. Y/N wasn't the only one who had a problem with Mr. Shido, Rei had also had quite a few problems with Mr. Shido. As miss Shizuka drove the bus through the streets, Y/N and the others saw what had happened to everything.

Shops had been looted, building were burning, cars had been abandoned, some were completely totalled or had been flipped. Dead bodies filled the streets, some laying on the ground or in cars while other were walking around as the undead. It was pure chaos, Y/N was surprised it all happened so quickly. It happened like in the movies but from a scientific standpoint this shouldn't have even happened. Once they found a safe place to stop, miss Shizuka turned the bus off. They had stopped just outside one of the tunnels to the city. Y/N and the others just want to take this time to clear their heads and gather their thoughts before they resumed traveling.
Mr. Shido on the otherhand, he had different ideas of what to do during this time. He decide do stand up and make it know to the others that he was going to be the leader of the group and that was going to be the one deciding where they should go next.
"I have decided to nominate myself to be the leader of this group and since I am the oldest there won't be any opposition" Mr. Shido told everyone
"You may be the oldest but no one decided on that" Takashi said speaking up
"Besides if anyone should be the leader of this group it should be either Takashi or Tatagami" Kohta said looking at both Takashi and Y/N
Y/N let out an irritated sigh, yes he and Takashi were the ones more qualified to lead the group but he honestly didn't want any problems. He was already doing his best to hold back his anger and stop himself from killing Mr. Shido where he stood.
"Like I said, I am the oldest Mr. Hirano so you should sit down and be quiet" Mr. Shido told Kohta intimidating him
Kohta nervously sat back down in his seat and kept quiet, Saya stood up and had something to say about that
"Just because you are older and you were our teacher doesn't mean you get to boss us around" Saya said standing up for Kohta
"I am sorry miss Takagi but someone here needs to enforce law around here and keep up the order before everything falls to chaos and a a teacher I am the one to do that" Mr. Shido told Saya
Rei had enough of Mr. Shido and decided to leave before he made even more angry
"Miss Miyamoto where do you think you are going?" Mr. Shido asked Rei trying to get her to stop
"You aren't a leader and I don't have to sit here and listen to spout all of this nonsense" Rei said loudly before she walked off the bus
"I guess she has chosen to die out there while we are safe here" Mr. Shido said
Y/N looked over at Takashi and gave him the signal to go after Rei, Takashi then got up and ran out of the bus to stop Rei and bring her back
"Look another one has decided to leave us as well" Mr. Shido said
Y/N had just about about enough at that point so he was going to put a stop to it, he got up and stood off with Mr. Shido
"And what can I do for you Mr. Tatagami?" Mr. Shido asked Y/N sarcastically
"You can sit down and you can shut up and if you can't do that then you can get off of the bus" Y/N answered in a serious tone
"The nerve you have to speak to me like that you filthy mixed blood mutt" Mr. Shido said showing his true nature to the others on the bus
His insult didn't bother Y/N, it wasn't something that he hadn't heard before, he just let it go right past him
"I'm not sure you noticed this but I don't care what you have to say about me or my blood, in this world that doesn't matter anymore" Y/N told Mr. Shido coldly
"It isn't the end of the world now so the laws of society are still in place" Mr. Shido said arguing with Y/N
"I don't think it has dawned on you yet but the dead are walking around eating the living, the laws of society have been thrown out of the window" Y/N said clenching his fist
"Tatagami is right, the normal rules don't apply anymore" Hirano said speaking up
"Sit down and be quiet Mr. Hirano, no one asked you to talk" Mr. Shido told Hirano
"You don't get to speak to him like that, Hirano is more capable then you'll ever be" Y/N told Mr. Shido
Still thinking he could say whatever he wanted, Mr. Shido said something to Y/N he shouldn't have
"Look here, I am going to be the leader of this group not you, you filthy mutt, I am going to bring law and order to this group not some son of a whore and grandson of a traitor" Mr. Shido said loudly in angered tone with a crazed look on his face
All of a sudden silence filled the bus, there was the sound a click and before anyone knew it, Y/N had drawn his wakizashi. Blood began to drip from the blade as Mr. Shido had realized that Y/N had cut his face. Touching his face and seeing the blood, Mr. Shido fell backwards with a horrified look on his face.
"You...You cut me" Mr. Shido said confused as he held his hand against his cut on his face
"You are lucky that I didn't kill you, now here is something you should know, there is no more law and there is no more order, the only thing you need to know is how to survive and if you don't, you will end up dead" Y/N told Mr. Shido and the others on the bus
Saeko, Saya and Hirano along with miss Shizuka knew that Y/N was right but the ones who followed Mr. Shido were scared. Y/N could see this and to make sure nothing else happened he flicked Mr. Shido's blood off his wakizashi and sheathed it before walking off of the bus. Seeing Y/N leave, Saeko got up and quickly followed Y/N off of the bus as he walked over to Takashi and Rei.
I really wanted to kill him, you can insult me but as soon as you insult my family that is a death sentence for you. But killing that bastard now wouldn't solve anything, it was already too late for any real justice to happen with the world ending. I decided to talk to Komuro and Miyamoto and see what we should do next. I saw Busujima following behind me as I walked over to the others.
"I am not getting back on the bus until he gets off" Miyamoto told Komuro
"I am in agreement with Miyamoto, the man is crazed and he'll only cause more problems for us in the future" I said
"I get that but there isn't much we can really do in this situation" Komuro said with a sigh
"Like I said before, I'm not getting back on the bus if he is going to continue on with us" Miyamoto said
I could see the look of anger in her eyes, that bastard Shido had wronged her and she was still suffering from it
"We need to come up with a plan before we get surrounded and can't go anywhere" Busujima said
"She's right, so what do we do?" Miyamoto asked
"I have an idea, grab the others and Shido can have the bus, there's a transportation depo a few blocks away from here, I'm sure we can find another bus there and if there aren't any keys I can just hotwire it" I answered giving them a new plan
"Or we can just kick Shido and his followers off the bus and we can continue on our way" Miyamoto said still angry
"That could work but it would only cause more problems" I said
"A fight would most likely break out, one we would win but the noise would attract those things to our location" Busujima explained to Miyamoto
"Busujima is right so there are our two options, give them the bus and find another ride or we can get back on the bus and continue on our way" I said telling Miyamoto our options
She didn't say anything, she just turned her back and stomped her foot
"Think about it for a second, I'm gonna tell the others" I said walking back to the bus
"You know you showed great restraint not killing him" Busujima said to me
"It isn't worth it, me killing him wouldn't solve anything and it would only make me feel good for a few minutes" I said as I continued to walk towards the bus
"What happened between you and Mr. Shido?" Busujima asked me
"Let's just say a lot happened" I told her not wanting to answer the question
As I was about to get on the bus, Busujima put her hand on my shoulder and stopped me
"Let me tell them, you stay out here and cool down" Busujima told me
"Fine, I'll go and get those two" I said looking back over at Komuro and Miyamoto
As I went to walk over to them a loud noise up ahead caught my attention as well as the attention of the others. Coming down the road at blazing speeds was a large bus that was on fire and full of zombies. It honestly reminded me of an opening scene from a certain zombie video game. Immediately it crashed towards all of us, Komuro grabbed Miyamoto and jumped out of the way as I ran to safety. Busujima managed to get back on the bus and out of the way of the oncoming danger. The bus itself ran into many of the abandoned cars on the road and crashed hitting the tunnel. There was a giant explosion of flames that knocked me back and left some burn marks on my body.
I got up slowly but my head was ringing, I could feel the pain coming from my burns. I walked towards the partially collapsed tunnel entrance to see if everyone was alright. Once I got there I saw that Busujima and the bus was trapped in the tunnel and that I was cut off from Komuro and Miyamoto on the other side of the street.
"What do we do?" Komuro asked
"It isn't safe here, you three need to leave" Busujima said
I looked back up the road and saw a large number of zombies approach the crash site
"We'll meet up back in the city, you take the bus and continue on forwards" I said telling the others a plan
"Where do you want to meet up?" Komuro asked me
"Yes, give us a place" Busujima said
I quickly thought of a place in the city where we could meet back up with one another and gave it to them
"Let's meet up at Onbetsu Bridge, from there we can come up with a new plan on where to go" I told them
"Sounds like a plan" Komuro said
"I'll tell the others, be safe" Busujima tells us
"Rei and I will do what we can" Komuro said before he ran off with Miyamoto
"Tatagami-san wait, you also need to be safe" Busujima told me
I could sense a bit of worry in her voice but I didn't think all that much of it
"I'll be safe but try not kill Shido" I said
"I won't make any promises" Busujima said
With that she ran back to the bus and continued on down the tunnel, me on the otherhand, I had to kill a few zombies that tried to attack me. I then ran up the grass hill on the side of the tunnel I was on. As I climbed up I could see even more zombies coming this way. I found a pettal bike and road off as far away from there as I could before I got overrun.

Streets: City
Y/N had escaped the oncoming horde of undead that were attracted by the sound of the bus explosion at the tunnel. He had made it some distance and abandoned the bike he found near the tunnel. Now Y/N was sneaking through the streets of the city avoiding large open areas where undead could be. As Y/N walked down the streets he kept his wakizashi ready for anything that might try to attack either it be undead or even human. Y/N continued on until he saw a familiar looking pawn shop. He saw that the windows had broken and the doors basically ripped off of their hinges.
He was sure that the place had been raided by people which meant all of the alarms had already been activated or they had been turned off. Seeing that he was going to need a lot more supplies to regroup with the others, Y/N slowly walked into the pawn shop. He got inside and looked around for a bit, the lights were off and no one was inside, up ahead was a glass case with a few items inside of it.
"Well what do you know, looks like I'm about to get some of my stuff back" Y/N said to himself with a grin

A power so vast it can bring anything to its knees. This ancient power can easily be unlocked with just one sentence, but this sentence shall never be spoken. Instead, Shiro will embark on a new path to gaining a new different kind of power as she moves forward in this new world. WARNING: The first few volumes will have tragedy, which will disappear at around Volume 5 or 6. From then on it will be just pure OP-ness and having fun. While I personally like OP characters and don’t like tragedies myself, I think it is unrealistic that a person goes to an unknown and everything just magically go their way via plot armor. So I wanted to build up a more realistic OP reincarnation novel where MC struggles through a new world regardless of their advantages due to gaps in knowledge (despite how prepared she was) and simply not having enough strength at the time. ------------------------------------------- This is my first poor attempt at a story. I read a lot of novels overall and was in the mood to see how well I can write one. Expect a lot of mistakes here and there as I am pretty new to writing. Releases should be about 2 times a week(changed due to chapter size pretty much doubling) unless stated otherwise or inbetween volumes. I will at least commit to finishing the volume I am on (Nothing worse than a story being cut off mid story). So give me your comments what you think. I don't mind if the comments are bad and etc. Just lay off the grammar nazi (My only weakness)

Shadowrun: Blake Island School of Magic
It's a high tech, low life. It's the Seattle Metroplex in 2074. It rises like a steel and concrete cancer out of the earth. Poverty is rampant, corruption is everywhere, crime is out of control, corporations basically control everything, the old United States is fractured, magic has come back and now it turns out that humanity has been joined by elves, dwarves, orks and trolls. The old world ended but the rent is still due. Life goes on. You'd be surprised what people can adapt to, especially if they don't have a choice. One of the places where life goes on is just west of Seattle. Surrounded by the waters of the Puget Sound is an island. On that island is the Blake Island School of Magic. A decade ago it was known for producing some of the most talented awakened in the world. That reputation was hijacked by the wealthy corporate elite who now park their teenage children there. And since it's a boarding school, their parents mostly forget about them. Three young people, who are certainly not wealthy or elite, are chosen this year to attend this school of magic in hopes of revitalizing their reputation for talent. One from the ash drifts of the Puyallup Barrens, one from the most densely populated slum hive in the world and one from prison. This is their story. -- This story is set in the Shadowrun universe. If you're not familiar with Shadowrun, it mostly tells the stories of deniable mercenaries called shadowrunners in a cyberpunk dystopia. Instead of telling another story solely about shadowrunners, this story will tell the tale of young people navigating a world that is indifferent to them at best and actively hostile at worst. Shadowrunners will be in the story and we'll see them operate, but they won't be its main focus. This story originally began in 2017 as a passion project and continues to this day on the Somethingawful.com forums. The unedited version is over a million words strong.
