the poison you dump down my throat
doesn't make me think higher of you
your white lies
don't change my opinion of you
your promises are nothing but an empty void.
do you really mean anything you say?
even if you do mean it
how do you expect me to believe you?
you are toxic
you have been this whole time
i can't rely on you
i should've known what you were doing all along,
you were playing me like a game
but don't blame me for letting you;
poison only tastes like poison after you swallow it.
