(A/N: THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH FOR 1K READS!!! IT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME THAT YOU ALL LIKE THIS STORY!!)
Rainbow's POV:
We all tucked ourselves into our sleeping bags (except for Rarity and Applejack, who got the bed). Flutters and I cuddled up together and drifted off to sleep.
We woke up late. She woke me up trying to get out of the sleeping bag. It was 11:30, I rubbed my eyes to see Fluttershy and I were the last ones.
We walked out of Rarity's room to see everyone eating breakfast. Fluttershy and I poured some Cheerios and milk into a bowl and went to join the others. Fluttershy made herself some toast with butter and grape jelly.
"Okay girls!" Rarity called after we all finished eating, "What do you want to do until five when we have to leave for prom?"
"Well, we could always go see a movie or something." Twilight suggested, which suprised us, Twi had had some pretty bad experiences with movie theaters over the past year and a half.
We all agreed to that idea and drove out to the movie theater.
Applejack's POV:
We arrived at the theater where we were going to watch some new movie that had just come out. We waited in line for a while, then went and got our seats. Zero jerks, zero homophobic comments, the day was off to a good start.
The movie was pretty good, I guess it a reboot of the old Ghostbusters movies, I liked it. It was funny, and it had Chris Hemsworth so... bonus. Plus Fall Out Boy sang the theme, so Pinkie was happy.
Twilight and Pinkie spent half the movie cuddled up together. I was surprised they weren't sitting in each other's laps.

When we got back to Rarity's place we had lunch (it was 3:00) and got everything all in order so that we could focus on the task ahead.
Pinkie's POV:
Everything was all set and we were leaving for prom in an hour. We started getting prepared.
Rarity made Rainbow, Aj, and I change in a different room than the others. Something about preserving a tradition, I don't really know.
We all put on our tuxedos and slipped on our shoes. "So, Aj," Rainbow started, "how come you decided not to go with color?"
Applejack looked at her and said, "I guess it's because I just don't think tuxedos look right with color. I feel like they're meant to be black and white, it gives it a certain... professionalism." She seemed happy, then went wide-eyed.
"Oh mah God. I'm becomin' Rarity!" She said, then chuckled.
"I don't think you have to worry about that, Aj." I said through a stream of giggles.
We finished changing and walked to meet our dates.
"Wow. Twilight... you look beautiful!" I said
"Heh, thanks Pinkie. You look great too." She replied.
The others shared similar sentiments with their respective dates, and we headed off to prom.
Rarity's POV:
Prom looked simply divine, but of course it did, I was in charge of decorations! Pinkie Pie planned a really fun party with this prom (the theme was "red carpet" or something like that.)
It was fun, I didn't see anyone particularly annoying to me, so it was just me and Applejack. Perfect.
Sweetie Belle had bugged me an awful lot about this. Her and her friends were fourteen, and in eighth grade. They got there own formal this year and were wondering what it was like.
This was my first year going, and we didn't have an eighth grade formal, so I didn't know exactly what to tell her. My advice was simple:

Take someone you like and be sure not to be a grouch. Their formal was tonight as well, I had to ask her afterwards who she took.
Fluttershy's POV:
The party was amazing!
"You and Rarity really outdid yourselves!" I told her.
"Thanks!" She said, "But it wasn't just us. Applejack helped with the food, and as much as I hate him, Flash Sentry's band is really good. Not as good as ours, but we couldn't play tonight."
That made sense, Applejack was tied with Pinkie for best baker at school.
The band quit playing for a bit to take a rest, so resident DJ (and a personal friend of ours) Vinyl Scratch aka DJ Pon3 played a slow song.
Rainbow Dash and I danced to the song, and I let my feet take over. I had learned to do this without thinking. I looked around, another friend of ours Starlight Glimmer was dancing with her boyfriend Starburst. Flash Sentry had recently gotten back together with Sunset, and the seemed to be having fun.
I layed my head on Dashie's chest and continued to sway to the music. We kept like this about five minutes, until Dash used her fingers to lift up my chin, making me stare into her eyes.
Her magenta eyes really were gorgeous in this lighting.
"Flutters?" She said slowly.
"Yeah Dashie?" I said, awaiting what was to follow.
"I think teal is my new favorite color." She continued, referencing my eyes.
"I know magenta is mine." I replied, doing the same.
"I love you Flutters. I love you so much." She said, and bit her lip.
I fucking loved it when she did that.
"I love you too Dashie, y'know it's really fucking cute when you bite your lip like that." I smiled, she seemed surprised by my cursing, but she smiled back.
"Fluttershy?" She started again.
"Yes?" I said nervously.
"I want to kiss you so freakin bad."
"Me too." I stood up on my tiptoes and gave her a passionate kiss, which she gladly returned.
We stayed like this for what felt like an eternity, and I savored every second of it.
(A/N: Hey everyone! This is it. Flutterdash is done for now, I have some ideas for what's next, and I'll try to get it started soon. I hope you enjoyed it, you're all awesome!)

Synergy
Dear Inspector, Please accept this letter as my formal resignation from being a Player. Hey! Laugh all you want, but I had to try. With no rules down here, who's to say that I can't resign? Anyway, my reasons are simple: I'm neither a gamer nor a hero. You got the wrong person for the job. Sure, the pay is decent and I could pretty much live like a king if, you know, I wasn't so busy trying to survive. I have major concerns about the demonic dagger bound to my soul too. Come to think of it, I've never asked to be transported to this fantasy land either and would like you to return me home, thank you very much. I don't want supernatural powers, I don't want to complete quests after quests, and I don't want to be your test subject anymore. What? I'm not whining, you're whining. Stop making excuses and let me leave already. Thank you for your understanding, and I hope you'll find a better replacement after I'm gone for good. Sincerely,Randel, the Mad Painter What to expect from Synergy: --> Some GameLit elements are presented subversively. If you want the protagonist to “play the game” properly, this might not be the story for you.--> No filler chapters; the story's structure is already plotted out. It's going to have six story arcs.--> Character development happens slowly, over many chapters. Don't expect a perfect protagonist right off the bat.--> Some romance, but it will never be the main focus.--> Humor and dark elements in equal measure, but not to the extent that I’d label this story as “Comedy” or “Grimdark”. ... and lots and lots of Author's Notes. See you on the other side of the portal!
