《Flutterdash: Star Player》Hospitals Are Super Depressing

Rainbow's POV:

Beep. Beep. Beep.

I awoke to the sound of a beeping monitor to my right. The room was still blurry, and my head felt paralyzed.

"Ugghhh..." I groaned. I don't know whether I wanted to get someone's attention, or whether I wanted to wake up my brain, but neither one happened.

"Ms. Dash? Are you up?" I heard a voice say from what I guessed was the door.

"Uh huh...." I said sleepily. I was still flirting with the line between sleep and consciousness.

"Well good. You've had some visitors waiting for you for the past three hours now." The voice said. My brain was waking up, and I could now identify the voice as a ladies.

"Visitors? Where am I?" I asked.

"You're... in the hospital." She said, "You were in a car crash. You're friend, I think her name was Fluttershy. She ran into a drunk driver, you stopped her from getting hurt. You bruised yourself up a good deal though." The nurse laughed. She actually, literally laughed.

"We were in a... car crash?" I guess I vaguely remembered it. Then I thought about something, "Wait, is Flutters okay!?"

"Yes... Flutters is fine. She's in the waiting room with the others, would you like to see them?" She asked.

I nodded, "Yes, please! All of them!"

The nurse grinned and walked out.

For the first time I noticed a throbbing pain in my shoulder, and in my ankle.

Apparently I had broken my foot, and my arm. Fluttershy's car was probably ruined too.

I heard the door open, and everyone rushed in. Pinkie, Rarity, Applejack, Twilight, and Fluttershy, and...

...

...Fluttershy's parents?

"Dashie!" Flutters yelled, running up and hugging me hard.

"Ah!" I winced.

Fluttershy quickly jumped away from me, "Oh my god I'm so sorry!"

"No," I huffed, "you're fine! Really!"

She still looked scared, but tried again. She slowly hugged me and kissed my cheek.

Fluttershy's POV:

I really felt awful, Rainbow Dash had risked her life to save me.

I shouldn't have been so stupid. Why didn't I make sure no one was coming?! I could have killed Dashie!

I guess Rainbow could feel me tense up, because she made sure to reassure me that this was not my fault.

She was right, I had no way of knowing that a drunk person would be there. I didn't have time to stop, this accident was not my fault.

It's not my fault.

My parents came over after we finished hugging.

"Thank you Rainbow Dash. Thank you so much for risking your life for our daughter. Honestly how can we ever repay you?" They asked.

Dashie smiled, and said: "Mr. and Mrs. Shy, you don't have to repay me. Really." She said, noticing their look of disbelief. "That idiot is hopefully in jail, if not then they didn't survive the crash. Fluttershy did survive. That's all the payment I need. If I had died in that crash, I would have died happily, because I would have saved Fluttershy's life."

My parents started to cry, and continued to thank Dashie, even though she constantly told them that no thanks was necessary.

Dash's POV:

"Okay, I hate to be the one to break up this touching moment, I really do, but Rainbow Dash needs her sleep. You can all come back tomorrow." The nurse said. I hated that they had to leave, but even though she played the 'the patient needs their sleep' card, visiting hours were probably over.

I gave everyone a big hug, kissed Fluttershy on the cheek one more time, and thanked her parents for coming out to see me.

As soon as they all walked out, the nurse turned out my light and shut the door. I drifted off to sleep.

Thank God Fluttershy is okay.
