Rainbow dash began to think as a way to finally settle her relationship with fluttershy. She wanted to let her know that she truly does want to be with her.

She felt bad about fluttershy being sad for a year and a half.

She then smiled and gave fluttershy a sweet kiss.

"Hey baby, I know we just got together,finally in each others arms, but I have to pick up something from a store."

Fluttershy frowned a little,she wanted dash in her arms, just cuddling all day.

"Um okay..thats fine.."

Dash saw how fluttershy got a little sad.

She lifted fluttershys chin up a little gently and gave her a kiss on her cheek.

"Tell you what,in the time that im gone to get what I need, how about you get changed and when I get back.Im taking you to a dinner, how's that sound?" dash said as she smiled.

Fluttershy smiled and kissed dash." id love to!"

Dash chuckled and hugged her. "Okay baby, ill be back in like 30 to 45 minutes, I love you. "

Fluttershy hugged her back tighter and got worried. She didnt want anything else to happen to her lover. " I love you to dashie, please becareful."

Rainbow dash nodded and left. She quickly headed to the mall and bought some clothes and a beautiful white rose.

She then headed to a store called gold and diamonds and quickly left and went back to fluttershys dorm room.

She opened the door and saw fluttershy in her beautiful dress, she was trying to put on her earnings on but had a little difficulty.

Dash went up to her and kissed her cheek and helped her.

"My, my you look gorgeous as always. " dash said as she winked.

Shy blushed but smiled at the compliment. " thank you dash."

"Of course baby, give me a few minutes and ill be out."

Dash came out wearing a ....dress..( hallelujah ...it finally happened.) it looked amazing on her, even if she is not the usual type to always wear them.

" you look great dashie" fluttershy said as she scanned dash up and down."

"Thanks princess, hope I didnt take to long. " dash said as she rubbed the back of her neck.

Fluttershy smiled and kissed her on the neck. "You didnt"

"Heh, so ready to go?"

"Mhm..I think so!.."

Dash opened the door for shy and headed out to a fancy restaurant.

She kept a small gift hidden from fluttershy until the moment was right.

They took their seats and ordered their food.

"C'mon, I hope the time flies by.." dash thought

Fluttershy looked at dash a little worried and put her hand on rainbows.

"Dash are you okay?..you seem a little ..worried or nervous."

"Im fine fluttershy, dont worry." dash said as she held her hand for a moment."

Dash finally took a deep breathe and got up from her seat.

She went to fluttershys side and kneeled down on her knees, not caring if her dress gets wrinkly or messy.

She grabbed her hand and kissed it.

"Fluttershy, my dear sunshine, ever since I have met you, I knew you were gonna land a special place in my heart. Everyday, my heart beat went faster and my stomach got butterflies whenever I was around you. We lasted a long time being together as friends up until college. Ik, ever since that horrible day, you were left here traumatized.lonely and sad. And im sorry for that my love. But now, im here again with you. To spend every bit of my life with you. I want us to last for a long time. I want us to be happy together. So..fluttershy.."

Dash pulled out a small box that said Promise ring on the top of it.She knew she and fluttershy weren't ready to be married yet since they were still in school and needed a little more time with the relationship.

"I will protect you with all my life, and I will love you with all my heart. Please stay with me for the rest of my life."

Fluttershy covered her mouth with one hand and began to cry a little. She sniffled and hugged dash while crying on her shoulder.

"Yes dashie, of course I will!.."

Rainbow dash began to also cry but smiled and kissed shy lovingly. "My sunshine.."
