Grey couldn't let me walk alone.

I felt loved at the same time mocked since he thought I was too weak to defend myself. We had an ugly fight about him judging, but he said he was just being cautious of which I doubted.

The men walking with me kept shooting curious glances at me. They were probably wondering why I was visiting another man from another pack.

"Something's here." One of the guards whispered to the others, completely drawing me from my thoughts.

I quickly glanced in all directions, trying to find the source of distraction, but being unprofessional, I couldn't smell, hear, feel or see anything. I stood close to a man named Troy who kept growling in all directions, changing his glance from place to place.

I shrunk behind him, my heart beating savagely in my chest as they all were on the verge of transforming.

My wolf was there, ever since I felt the connection with Grey, she never left and I was relieved cause now, I can transform anyhow I want.

"Greeeeeeetings Luna!" The Savage voice pierced my ears and I glanced towards the sound, him, on a tree branch.

He was in a pitch black suit, his eyes a glowing blood red and his skin as pale as ever.

"You want to die early I see, stepping in the vampire territory?" He chuckled, taking a step into the air and landing perfectly on both legs. "I'd save you for the red moon, I can't wait to kill you." He said as he walked to me only to have the guards stand in front of me. He raised his hands in defeat, shaking his head. "Surprisingly you smell different, Luna."

"What?" I asked and it came out in a near whisper.

"What I mean is you smell different!"

"You haven't explained anything you-"

"Shut. Up," he rolled his eyes and placed his hands behind him, acting rather weird. "You smell a lot more different than before, did you die?"

"No...." I furrowed my brows in confusion.

"We have to go." o

One guard whispered to me and began shoving me from my spot.

"Tata! I'll kill you on the red mooooooon!" He sang and before I could blink, he disappeared.

I clenched my fists and sighed. He's already targeted me... He's been targeting me? For what reason?

Could be the discussion with Grey, Grey must have said something off coarse and upset them.

The mates are always the victims...

I ran a hand through my hair and began walking on my own.

We made it to the stone wall built around Bluemoon's territory.

A guard went ahead and forcedly knocked on the heavy brown doors. The sound echoed into the woods, bringing chills up my spine.

Suddenly, the doors slowly opened and we walked in, the guards in alert. I gasped at how organised the place was. It looked very.... Civilised. Houses, clear walk paths, stores, flower decorations and a lot more.

Many eyes glanced in our direction and began whispering nonstop.

"Isn't that Emily?" One whispered too loud that I heard when she pointed at me. I held my breath and clenched my fists. Trying to avoid the curious glances they all shot at me was hard.

"Emily?" A tall slim woman tapped my shoulder, I turned and smiled in greeting, only to hug me.

"Um... Do I know you...? Sorry to ask.." I blushed and she pulled away from me and smiled warmly, tilting her head to the side a bit.

"I believe not, but Hunter kept talking about you, he just came into the village the other day yelling out that he found his mate, and as a mother, I was so happy..." She rubbed her tears of joy and I just stared.

Something about my life tells me it's the most interesting so far. I guess he hasn't told them about Grey.

I didn't expect him to anyway. It would be... I do that know... Shameful or heartbreaking?

"You don't know what he's been going through... Saying you don't want to come home..." Her tears were now of pain. "He... He has this problem.... He cuts up his wrist... When he's in stress and... He's been doing it a lot lately," she shrugged and wiped her tears. "The doctors told me he'd one day accidentally get his artery and.... Emily... Please."

What would I say or do? She couldn't see the way I was struggling with myself. I go there, there are touching words and I come here, it's worse, Grey has his ugly jealous side, but Hunter... That's something I've never seen in a long time.

He cuts his wrist? Is he trying to commit suicide?

"Mum!" A teenage girl came stumbling as she ran for the woman I was talking to. Her fear stricken face brought chills up my spine, and for a second, I knew it was about Hunter.

"What's wrong?" The woman asked as she turned almost too quickly, seeming as though she knew already.

"H-Hunter!" She breathed slowly. "He's stressing out! He's cutting up his whole arm!"

My heart sunk in fear, is it the same issue of me not coming here or maybe it was something completely different?

I ran with them towards Hunter's house and I could hear his growl from outside. It scared me.

It's something else....

His mother kicked the door open and rushed in, having me trail behind in fear. The guards stood by the door, finding it unrespectable to just run in when it did not even concern them.

They ran up the stairs and went straight into a wide corridor. Despite what was going on, I couldn't help but admire the complex design of the house. It was big and well decorated and designed.

I was brought back from my thoughts when I heard the woman scream. I rushed into the room I saw them walk into and gasped in terror and shock.

This can't be....
