I was waiting for Jason to come. The dance was already started and everyone was having fun, except me. Jen, in her lavender dress with little white flowers on it, and Alicia, in her light green dress with a matching short-sleeved jacket, came to the table where I'm sitting at and sat down. Jen asked, "Where's Jason and Sam?"

"I don't know," I said.

Alicia said,"Don't worry. Jason will come soon and maybe Sam will come later." Then, the DJ said, "Will Taylor Anderson please come to the dance floor?" I saw Sam upon the stage with him. "Ok-k-k," I said, wondering what's going on.

I stood at the center of the gym. Sam said, "Hey, sis, I'm sorry for my behavior the past few weeks." As he spoke, he came and handed me a corsage. I put it on my wrist. "There's someone who really wants to see you," Sam added.

I looked kind of puzzled. Who could it be? "You ready to see him," he asked.

"I guess."

Then Sam said, "Come on in, Jason." The door pushed open, and there is Jason, standing there in his black suit. He was holding a red rose.

Everyone cheered with an applause. Jen and Alicia looked surprised and they both said, "Lucky." I smiled as he walked toward me and said, "Hi, Taylor."

"Uh, hi. This is really surprising."

"Yeah. You have Sam to thank."

Sam said, "I did this to make up trouble I caused for both of you." I said, "Thanks, Sam." He smiled and said, "I think Jason have something else to say." I turned around and looked at Jason.

He said, "I told it to Sam, I am going to say it again."

"Say what?"

Jason handed me the rose, saying, "I told Sam how I couldn't wait to see you. You are so funny, smart, and beautiful." All the girls said, "Aww." Jen said, "Shut up, you'll ruin the moment."

"Jason, I..," I said. He placed his finger over my lips. Jason looked at Sam. "May I?"

He said, "Feel free."

Jason looked back at me. "Come here." I ran into his arms. We shared a hug and smiled. Sam said, "Come on, dude. Kiss her."

Alicia, Jen, and everyone, even the DJ, chanted, "Kiss her! Kiss her!" Jason tilted my chin up and said, "I love you, Taylor."

"I love you, too," I replied. Then, we shared a passionate kiss. Everyone roared with cheer. Alicia smiled, and Jen said, "I am totally freaking out! This is exciting!" The dance continued after that. While dancing with Jason, I noticed a girl, dressed in an indigo dress, was talking to Sam.

She said, "Hi, Sam." I can tell the girl likes him.

"Hey, what's up?" Sam stopped for a moment. "Nancy? Nancy O'Dean, is that you?"

"Yeah."

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to say that it was very sweet of you doing that surprise for your sister."

"You really think so?"

"Yeah. You know, I like nice guys like you. Here's my number."

As Nancy walked off, Sam looked at the number, smiled, and said, "Oh, yeah!" Yep, it was the best night for all of us.
