《Just Admit It // dreamnotfound》Admit it

I wake up in the middle of a field, laying in the long grass, flowers scattered around.
I sit up and see the plane of grass, and trees in the distance.
Next to me, sits a rose.
The sun shines bright, it's really warm, and I'm in sweatpants, a blue hoodie and have clout goggles on?
I'm dressed exactly like my Minecraft skin.
"hello..?" I hear in the distance,
I look to my right, and see a tall blonde boy, wearing a green hoodie and a smile mask on the side of his head, moved so he can see. standing next to me.
"Dream? where am I?"
"In a pretty field, with me."
"Well I see that."
He sits next to me, putting his head on my shoulder.
"It's beautiful out here," I say.
"Yeah, it's because your in a happy place, it's supposed to be filled with things that make you happy, if you look around more you will find that out pretty quick."
"Well where is Sapnap? He makes me happy too."
"That's the difference, I'm the difference."
"What?"
"You see George," he turns and lifts up my chin, "Sapnap is just a friend to you."
"W-well so are you.." I mummer, trying to pull away, but I cant move.
He picks up the rose, putting it behind my ear.
"Oh George," he says, "your so naive. If I was just a friend, you wouldn't be blushing right now."
He smiled,
"Just admit it, George."
He tilts my head, moving in closer, stopping just before my lips.
"You love me."
I wake up.
I sit up in my bed, my breath unsteady.
What the f-? What was that?
I run my hands through my hair,

Trying to find the rose,
But it's not there.
I mean I knew it was a dream but..
It fell so real.
What was that anyways?
I stand up, opening my door and walking downstairs, nearly stumbling down the staircase.
Speaking of, didn't i fall asleep on the couch downstairs?
How did I get to my room?
"Morning George!" Dream said from the kitchen, "I'm making breakfast for us today!" He said with a smile.
"George? You okay? You look a bit scared?"
Sapnap asks.
"Yeah I'm fine, just has a weird dream." I respond.
"What was it about?" Dream asked from the kitchen.
"I don't wanna talk about it."
We fell silent and looked at our phones, soon called out for food by dream, he made pancakes and bacon.
After we eat, Sapnap looks up things we could do today, Dream walks over.
"What are you guys doing?"
"Looking for something to do today." Sapnap answers.
"It's supposed to storm, we live in Florida remember."
"Ughh," I respond, "I hate storms, it's so annoying."
Truth was, I didn't find storms "annoying,"
Ever sense I was younger, I was really scared when it stormed.
As I got older, I thought it would go away, but my fear only grew worse.
I don't want to embarrass myself in front of them, so I hope it's not awful.
That's probably why it was so sunny in that dream, even though I don't like the heat, it's the opposite of storms, and I hate storms.
But.. what was that thing with Dream?
Why did he..?
"Admit it, George."
The words run through my head.
"You love me."
I love dream, don't get me wrong,
He's my best friend.
But I don't love him like that.

At least I don't think I do.
I mean it would be weird, to date Dream..
Why would I want that?
So why isn't the dream the opposite of dating him?
Why was I about to kiss him in that?
Why wasn't I just his friend, in my own "happy place?"
"George? Hello? What do you wanna do?"
"Oh sorry, Dream," I respond, "I zoned out for a sec."
"It's okay, anyways do you wanna play minecraft or play a board game?"
Suddenly, Rain starts to thud on the roof.
Sounds of thunder start,
And the power goes out.
"I guess we're playing a board game then." Sapnap says.
I feel myself start to become anxious.
My heart dropping into the pit of my stomach.
The thunder gets louder,
A flash of lighting shows through the window.
Oh no.

A Well Dressed Wolf
I don't know what to tell you; I never met a god, I never saved kids from speeding trucks, there was no email, no freak lighting storm, no dying in my sleep, no blinding white light at the end of the tunnel. I just blinked and found myself in a very different world and inside a very different body. I might have been put here to be a hero, a paragon of hope, a light for weary souls. To join other superbeings and ultra geniuses in their hypocritical crusade against the darkness…One small problem, I'm not going to be doing any of that.

Sanguine
The Coles are probably the definition of a small dysfunctional family, even if they weren’t the worst in existence; they would probably be lauded as an example of the term. The Coles were a small family though. The father, Oliver Cole, was an asshole ex-football jock who bounced around in small paying jobs after wasting most of his life drinking, drugging and whoring. The daughter, Stacy Cole, was smart, but had many issues including anger, trouble with authority, and occasional suicidal thoughts, and was kicked out of many a school for disruptive behaviour. The son, Mike Cole, was innocent, and tried his best to be kind to anyone and everyone, however his own speech impediment, and slow nature only aided people to bully and belittle him, including his own father. The Coles were indeed a dysfunctional family. At least they were, until they got to the small town near the border between the United States and Canada, Sanguine. Welcome to Sanguine. You will stay. With the exception of the first chapter, each chapter only follows one character. The first chapter is the only chapter in which I will include 'Sides' where it follows a different character. This is a short Lovecraftian story, it won't go above seventeen chapters. Note: the book cover is my first attempt, it might not even remain like it is, I was just tired of seeing the standard 'no cover' thing on it.

Road of the Immortal Tao
The story is a fanfiction created based on the mobile game Immortal Taoists, following the development of Server 87, adapted to fiction, plus a backstory. You will be able to find many names of actual in-game players in the novel (yours truly included), all of which agreed to participate in this little project. For obvious reasons there will be deviations from the actual game in order to match an actual timeline and for the story to make sense. Enjoy the journey of the S87 players on their path to Immortality!
