《By Chance 《Chanlix》》~ 19 ~

President Bang announced the funeral of Seo Changbin was about to start. But Felix had seen Seo Changbin earlier today. He was beyond confused.
He heard people around him saying things like 'I heard he was a rebel.' 'The poor boy.'
Did no one realise that Changbin was right there, sitting in the front row of the hall?
Seo Changbin was not the son that passed, he was perfectly alive and healthy.
Mr Bang put out his hand as for everyone to silence. He then leaned into the microphone again, "I would like to invite my son, Bang Chan, to say a few words."
Felix went still. Bang Chan? As in, blond boy Chan? He realised that he had never asked for his full name, so if this was the same one...was he a fourth son? Felix's stomach tickled with butterflies. His chest felt warm and he wanted to smile really big, was he going to see Chan? After so long.
He waited for Chan to enter the stage and go up to the lectern, but instead, he saw Seo Changbin walk up in big strides. "Hello everyone, my name is Bang Chan, and I would like to..." Felix's smile dropped.
He stopped paying attention. His mind was boggled, was Chan here or not? Why was the deceased son using the name of Changbin and Changbin using Chan. Was this some sort of game?
"Seo Changbin has tragically passed away in a fire a couple of days ago, we are all still mourning and hoping he has found peace." Changbin wiped a tear from his eye. "I would like to inform you all that I, Bang Chan, am the next heir in line for the company. I will do my best, thank you."
He walked down the stairs and continued to wipe more tears. Felix couldn't tell if they were real or fake and everything was an act.
He shifted in his seat and tried to make understanding of all of this. He heard Mr Bang's voice again, "We will now play a slide show of Changbin."
Felix squinted his eyes and leaned forward in his seat, trying to get a better view of the projector from where he sat in the middle rows. A soft song that he couldn't recognise played as background music while photos of him as a child popped up on the screen. This was the same child from his memories. But his name wasn't Changbin.

Felix's throat started to feel itchy as a few of the photos of the boy and him together showed. There was one at the playground, one on the first day of school (he transferred out the next year), and there was one at one of the dinner parties where he was feeding Felix food because he had a broken arm. Felix smiled at the memory and brought his finger up to his eye to wipe the tear that fell.
More of the slide show played and the audience watched in silence, beside from a few sniffles here and there.
It was near the end and all of the photos were of him as a child. Felix wondered what he looked like when he grew up. The slideshow came to a stop on one photo.
A photo of Bang Chan.
The real one.
He looked a bit younger than he was now, but anyone could tell it was him.
No, no no. Did that mean that...Bang Chan had gone to a hotel that day that he disappeared? And that hotel...had caught fire.
Felix felt a big lump in his throat. His eyes stung with the pain of tears wanting to escape, Chan couldn't be dead. No, he couldn't be. Felix's eyes met with Chan's on the projector. Why did you have to leave?
Felix brought a hand up to his mouth and pressed it against it so his sobs would be quieter. He couldn't feel his legs, he suddenly collapsed on the ground and instantly pulled his legs up to his chest, hand still over his mouth.
Everyone was looking at him. Some gave him looks of sympathy, others held such judgement in their eyes. But he didn't care.
Chan couldn't be gone. No. He wasn't. Chan needed to come back, Felix needed him. Felix needed his warm touch that made him feel safe, his dimply smile that brought happiness, the brightness in his eyes whenever he talked about something he liked.
He heard someone barge through the doors, he didn't bother to look at who it was. He stayed on the floor breaking out in wracks of sobs.
Over his loud cries, heard the audience gasp all around the room.

Felix dropped his head in between his knees, moving his hand and now sobbing freely. Who even cared anymore?
He heard footsteps approach him, he didn't look up or move at all. "Felix, look at me." The voice spoke softly. Chan. It was chan, except, he was fake.
"You're just in my imagination, go away!" Felix screamed, still not looking up. Instead, he brought both of his hands to his ears and covered them so he wouldn't hear anything. His head was now raised but he didn't look in the direction of fake Chan. If he did, he would cry even more, and maybe even start to believe the illusion. Felix's head hurt. He wanted all of the pain to be over, gone.
Fake Chan had crouched to his height so he could talk to him better, except Felix acted as if he couldn't hear him. "Felix, it's me." Felix sensed disappointment in his tone, he wouldn't fall for it. "How can I make you believe me?"
How could Felix prove that it was only his imagination? The last time imagination Chan showed up, he didn't have the scar.
"Show me your scar." Felix's voice sounded weak and hoarse, his crying had stopped now but the wet tears still remained on his face. Suddenly, he saw a hand come into view. And it had the scar.
How?
Felix looked towards fake Chan. "Are you really real?"
Chan nodded his head. Felix still didn't know whether he could believe him or not. The evidence was there, but his mind couldn't wrap an explanation around it.
Felix now faced chan and saw how everyone was looking at them including Changbin and Mr Bang. Chan seemed to sense Felix's uncomfortableness and helped him stand, grabbed his hand and led him outside.
Once they were outside, Chan pushed Felix roughly against the wall of the hallway. He stared deep into his eyes, making Felix's heartbeat rise. Chan had his arms placed on either side of Felix's body, stabilising himself but also trapping Felix.
"I missed you so much baby boy."
Felix didn't have time to respond as Chan hungrily leaned down and kissed him roughly. Felix kissed back, he didn't want this feeling that Chan gave him to ever go away. Chan angled his head so he could deepen the kiss, wanting to taste all of Felix. He started grinding his lower half against Felix.
Felix wasn't expecting it and let out soft moans in between every thrust. Felix felt Chan's tongue slide into his mouth, before he pulled away from the kiss to leave kisses down his neck, biting occasionally. "Fuck Felix." Felix was panting. He needed Chan. His hands grabbed Chan's hair and pulled him back to his lips, smashing theirs together. He yanked on Chan's hair and Chan moaned. He was still grinding against Felix, leaving them both moaning messes.
Chan pulled away, "we should" he breathed "probably stop now. Before we go too far." He smirked.
Felix nodded in response, not being able to catch his breath. They stared into each others eyes for a while, getting lost in every emotion each held.
Chan was finally back. Felix felt tears rise to his eyes.
"Woah woah, what's wrong?" Chan spoke softly, caressing Felix's face.
"I missed you so much Chan."
Chan pulled Felix into a hug, his hands stroking the back of Felix's head.
"Me too baby boy. Me too." Chan sighed. "I'm back now okay? I won't leave you ever again, so don't cry okay?" He said as he pulled away from the hug and looked into Felix's eyes. "By the way, you look really hot with those clothes and that hairstyle." He winked, making Felix blush a bright red.
"So you two are a thing huh?" Felix jumped at the voice of Jisung. "I can't believe you didn't tell us." Crap, what was Minho doing here. Had they seen everything?
Uh so, I present you with
