A/N: I just wanted to say a huge sorry for how long this has taken to get up. I have to wait until I get access to a laptop to get this up and that's very hard at the moment since mine is broken. But I'll try and update as much as possible. I hope you all enjoy this chapter and a HUGE thank you for reading and voting and commenting. It always means so much to me.
"Lexi! Alexia! Wake up!" The shrill voice of a very excited Blair screamed into my ear.
I groaned and pulled a pillow over my head. "Shoo B." I mumbled. However, instead of shooing like I had asked her to, she ripped the covers off me.
"A! Wake up!" She whined.
I sighed and sat up and glared at the girl. "What?" I hissed out.
"Guess who mom's chosen to be the face of her new line? Me! That's who. How amazing is that?" Blair squealed, excitement completely taking over her features.
I couldn't help but smile back at her and wrap my arms tightly around her. "Wow! That's amazing B, congratulations." I squealed with her.
"You're not jealous?" She asked.
"Of course not, this is your time to shine. Besides I haven't forgotten that pinky promise we made when I was five. When you have your own line, I'll be the front model." I reminded her and laughed. "But I'm really happy for you Blair."
"Thanks Lexi. And of course you'll be my top model. You hold the Waldorf beauty." She teased.
I smiled and turned to the clock before cursing. "I'm gonna be late for my spa appointment." I panicked and jumped up. I ushered Blair out of my room before jumping in the shower and quickly washing my hair.
Once out of the shower, I quickly dried my hair and put it up in a ponytail. I then shoved on some black shorts and a tank top. I slipped my sneakers on before running out the door.
I grabbed my skateboard from the front garden and jumped on it, skating all the way to the spa. I didn't really care who I bumped into, as far as I was concerned it was their trouble.
Soon enough I was sat in a hot tub, completely relaxed. Or at least I thought I was.
"Oh my God! Alexia?" A voice cried from behind me.
I turned around only to be met face to face by Samantha Evans.
Me and Samantha used to be best friends when we were 12. We were so close, but then her mom and her moved away to France and we saw less and less of each other.
"Sammi? There's not a chance in hell that you're really here!" I gasped and pulled her into the hot tub with me and wrapped my arms around her.

"You better hope I am, or you're gonna look really weird." She laughed and hugged me back.
I rolled my eyes and stuck my tongue out at her. "What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Mom moved us back. I'm living in Manhattan again!"
I almost screamed with excitement and hugged her tighter. "You have missed so much." I told her and informed her of everything that had happened. Of me and Chuck, how Serena and B had that fight. How Nate doesn't love Blair anymore. And most importantly, about Gossip Girl.
"So basically it's someone who likes to stir shit in your school?" She asked and then shook her head laughing "Well that narrows it down to everyone." She laughed.
I nodded and laughed with her. "That's why she's been kept so anonymous. Because there's plenty of people she could be."
I looked at the time and sighed. "I better go. But do you wanna come back to mine?" I asked.
Samantha nodded and laced our hands together. "I'd love to. I haven't been to the Waldorf manor in years." She giggled.
We got dried off and dressed and the left the spa together. Samantha fancied a walk and I wasn't going to complain. I needed some exercise. We walked past the parks and meadows, just causally chatting away. It was very peaceful. Until we reached the basketball courts that was.
I stopped in my tracks and burst out laughing. I got a few odd glances, one of them being from Samantha. "What are you laughing at?" She asked.
And with perfect timing, the person I was laughing at turned around. "Chuck Bass, what are you wearing?" I asked through giggles.
"We're playing basketball. I'm dressed for sports." He explained as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"You look ridiculous." I laughed and gave him a soft kiss when he came over, Nate following closely behind.
"Hey! No girlfriends allowed." Nate scolded us and I stuck my tongue out at him.
Samantha cleared her throat behind me and I suddenly remembered that she was there.
"Oh guys, I almost forgot. This is Samantha. Remember? My best friend." I explained and realisation dawned on both of their faces.
"Of course. It's a pleasure to see you again Samantha." Chuck smiled as he slung an arm around me.
"Hi Sammi." Nate greeted.
"It's nice to see you both again." Samantha returned.
"Chuck! Are you coming or what?" Some guy called from behind us.
"Yeah I'm coming." Chuck said. "I'll see you later Lexi." He turned to me and kissed me. "I'll miss you."
"Yep, I'm sure you'll miss me with all those strippers on your lap." I laughed and Chuck looked horror struck. "Don't worry, I don't care. Lost weekend doesn't count." I smiled and gave him a proper kiss before pulling away from him completely.

"Bye boys." I said and Samantha waved.
"Bye girls." Nate called for both him and Chuck.
I held Samantha's hand again and walked off. "If you don't mind me saying, you're life is fucked up." She said and looked in the general direction of Chuck.
"I know." I agreed and found myself locking my eyes on Nate.
Forcing myself to turn away, I gave Samantha a big smile. "Let's go make cookies." I laughed and we ran to my house.
"Miss Alexia. And wow miss Samatha. It's been very long." Dorota grinned when we got home.
I smiled and squeezed Samantha's hand. "Isn't that amazing? Sammi's moved back to Manhattan."
"I get cookie ingredient ready." Dorota smiled and I laughed. We followed Dorota down to the kitchen and helped her get everything needed out.
Once we were set up, Dorota excused herself and left us to it.
"You know, you and Chuck Bass are really fucked up." Samantha said.
"Yup." I answered and popped the p.
"Why are you with him?" She asked.
"I don't know. We just work well together. We have something, I can't explain what it is but there's something there."
"I'm gonna be honest with you, I don't think you two belong together."
"Well I don't think that's any of your business." I snapped.
"None of my business? I'm your best friend Lexi. It is my business." She stopped what she was doing and turned to me.
"My best friend? Far from it. I haven't heard from you in years and you come here and feel like you can judge my life and tell me who I do and don't belong with? You don't know a thing about me. Do you know what? I think it's best you get out of my house." I slammed my spoon down on the counter.
"You can't just chuck me out."
"If you don't leave in 20 seconds, I'll call the police for trespassing. You're not the Queen anymore Samantha, I am." I glared at her. She studied me for a few seconds, her mouth agape before she dropped everything and walked out of my house, trying to keep her head held high. But it wasn't working. She messed with a Waldorf, she was gonna pay.
Seconds after Samantha left my phone rang. I sighed when I saw Chuck's name on the caller ID and answered it. "You really do choose the worst times." I said with an eyeroll, even though he couldn't see it.
"I'm sorry, but it's important." Chuck rushed down the phone.
"What is it?" I asked, suddenly worried.
"Nate's in trouble, Carter's playing him at poker and we need to help."
"What can I do?"
"He knows I won't call the police, but you will." Chuck explained.
"Okay, sure. I'll be there soon." I said. I grabbed a jacket and wrapped it around my arms. I grabbed my bike and ran out of the house. I quickly rode to the address Chuck text me and as soon as I saw him I ran into his arms. We embraced for a second before he passed me his phone.
"I need you to stay at the door and listen for me, okay? When I say 'I know I won't.' I need you to come in with the phone and say 'but I will' That's all I need. Don't do anything stupid after that." I nodded my head in understanding and pecked Chuck's lips.
"I can do that." I whispered. Chuck nodded and then walked away from me. Into the basement. I stood by the door, listening. Waiting. There was a lot of hustle and bustle and at times I couldn't hear, that panicked me more than anything. I didn't want to miss my cue. To mess everything up. But soon enough the time came and Chuck uttered those four little words.
I walked through the door holding up my phone with a smirk across my face, masking my fear. "But I will." I said and cocked my eyebrow up, challenging him. My eyes flashed to Nate's for a moment and he looked down at the floor, ashamed with himself. I sighed and curled myself more towards Chuck.
Carter gave in and agreed to Chuck's terms and conditions. We all ran out of the building and to Chuck's limo where I finally felt safe. I wrapped my arms tightly around Nate. "You absolute idiot! What on earth would you do that for?" I hissed out.
Nate hugged me back and shrugged his shoulders. "Me and Chuck had a stupid argument and I don't know, I'm sorry." He said and rubbed my hair.
"It's fine, just be thankful that I don't tell B." I said and kissed his cheek. He gave me a smile and nodded.
"Lexi I..." He stopped and looked up at Chuck. "I'll see you around."
"Yeah, I'll see you around Nate." I said and got into Chuck's limo and the driver put my bike in the boot.
Soon enough Chuck got in and put his arm around me. "Wanna come back to the hotel?" He asked and I nodded my head. "Is everything okay?" He asked with a frown.
"Not really, I'm a mess Chuck an absolute mess. And I need to join B at the top. Samantha's back, but it's my turn to rule." I told him.
"And of course, I'll be here to help you, whatever you need. Or if you need to talk."
I shook my head at him. "I just need you to help me rise at to the top. On Monday, we make Samantha's life a living hell.
