《Miraculous Magic Academy {COMPLETE}》21:Saved

I raked back my bangs, trying to get ahold of what was going on. Hawkmoth. This was Hawkmoth's lair. I was done for. No one would be able to find me here...
They ran to master Fu's office only to be stopped in their tracks by master fu waiting for them in his hallway. They ran up to him and started to freak out and explain what happened. He put his hand up to stop them.
"Children, I can get you to where she is, but I can't go with you." He said. They stared at him, mouths open.
"What do you mean, 'I can't go with you'?" Alya asked.
"It will be unbalanced. There will be too many good witches and wizards over at the dark side. It wouldn't balance out and the whole magic universe would collapse." He said. They nodded and he guided them to the forest. Suddenly they heard a scream. It must have been from Marinette, they thought. They started running closer to the sound but stopped when they reached the lake. They looked around for Marinette. She was no where in sight. They called out her name a few times, but no use.
"Jump in the lake." Master fu ordered. They scratched their heads in response. "That's where Hawkmoth's lair is."
They nodded and jumped in. They touched the floor without a sound and hid in a dark corner. They saw Marinette laying there. Barely breathing. Her breaths shallow and slow. She was shaking too. Like she was having a nightmare. Suddenly the door opened.
"Coccinelle! Wake up!" A strange man shouted. She woke up. He walks forward as they watched Marinette scoot back as far as she could. He stared at her. "What will it be? Give up? Or pain?" He asked. She swing her legs and he fell to the floor when she kicked him. He got up and laughed. He pulled out his wand as they all watched in horror.

I watched as Hawkmoth pulled out his wand. I was hit with massive pain. Worse than earlier. I arched my back. I held my head in my hands as I curled into a ball, wanting it to be over.
"I'm not done with you, Marinette!" He shouted. Pain struck me again. I sank deeper into the floor, my energy and strength gone. I tried to see what happened after that but my eyesight was all fuzzy.
"Paralyser!"
"Pousser!"
"Mettre hors tension!" I heard. I heard people coming toward me. I smiled knowing it was my friends.
"Mari! Your safe!" I heard Alya's voice. They picked me up and casted a spell that restored my energy.
"Je vous remercie. I've missed you guys!" I said running over to them and giving them a big hug. They hugged back as I pulled away. Adrien ran up to hug me. But I was surprised when I felt his lips come in contact with mine. I let go and smiled. "Je t'aime." I whispered. He smiled and hugged me tighter. Then we heard a laugh.
"You think you can defeat me that easily?" He said. With a flick of his wrist, I sank to the floor, slipping into unconsciousness.
They watched as Marinette fell to the floor. They screamed her name. Hawkmoth laughed and walked forward. He raised his wand and took them out one by one. Marinette raised her head and threw him back with as much force and power she possessed. He laughed.
"Your getting the hang of it. Use your anger." He said. She frowned. She knew that if she used anger instead of love as an energy source, it would mean that evil would take over. Wait, love! She thought.
"Love is the strongest thing in the world." Her mom always said when she was little. She never knew what she was talking about till now.
Love. Love makes the world go round. People always said. Even with hate lingering everywhere, love still wins. She looked to her friends. They were out cold. She would have to do this on her own. For her friends. For her parents. For her classmates and teachers. For love.
