《The Avengers Compound》Get Wrecked Flash (2)

Everyone heads inside, and Flash tries to talk to each Avenger, but is met with the same rude remarks and almost got slapped or punched by most of them. Finally, he made his way to Steve.
"Hey Captain America!" He greets. "What do you think of Parker? He's pretty lame, am I right? Not like us."
Steve slowly puts his hands on his hips. "Who are you?"
"I'm Flash."
"I see. And what do you think of Queens?"
"Who?"
"Peter."
"Oh, we're best friends. We kept really close over the past few months, man I've missed him." Flash lies, and doesn't notice how Steve is narrowing his eyes.
"I don't like liars." He mutters, stepping closer to the now very nervous boy.
Flash gulps.
A few minutes later, Peter calls Steve over. "Have you seen Flash? You were just talking to him a minute ago."
"I sent him over to say hi to Wanda and Vision." Steve replies, the mischievous Brooklyn kid shining through the hardened warrior.
Peter's eyes widen in shock. "Wanda and Vision?! They'll kill him!"
"That's the point." Steve shrugs, then heads over to Bucky by the food table.
Peter scans the room, looking for Vision's tall frame. Spotting them in the corner, he pushes people out of the way to stop the heroes from killing his classmate.
"Hey Miss Wanda! How are you?" He skids to a stop next to them.
Wanda is gripping Flash's wrist, and Vision is glowering deeply.
"Just taking care of your little schoolmate." She replies icily, then turns back to Flash.
"Honestly! It's okay, you don't need to hurt him." Peter begs, trying to tug Flash away from Wanda.
"I can handle him, Peter."
"I know, but he can't handle you! He will die." Peter reasons, and Wanda's grip softens slightly.
Peter gently removes Wanda's hand from Flash, and shoves him away roughly.
"If he even looks at you ever again I will rip him apart." Wanda growls, and Peter nods.
"Thanks, Miss Wanda. I appreciate you looking out for me." Peter backs away.
He almost crashes into Flash, who turns and glares at him.
"Don't ever push me again." He hisses.
"Seriously Flash? I just saved your life." Peter chuckles.
"Really? I was handling things just fine by myself." He steps closer to Peter, who stands his ground, then remembers how he can't give away his identity.
Peter steps back, glaring, and walks back to Tony.
"Could you do me a favour?" Peter asks him sweetly, then explains his plan.

"Anyone who wants to see Flash humiliated, come outside now." Tony booms, dragging Flash by the ear to the backyard.
Most of the class follows, eager for the humiliation.
"How about a display of our powers, eh?" Tony suggests, and the Avengers nod, grinning. "But just don't kill him, I don't want to fill out any paperwork."
Natasha steps forward to go first. "The rules: We can't kill you, you can defend yourself with whatever you want. You can insult us however you want. We will try not to hurt you too bad. Lets begin."
She launches herself at Flash with a kick to the stomach and he stumbles backwards, slightly winded.
"That's all you got? This should be easy." He laughs, and Natasha flicks out two short batons, twirling them around her wrists.
He walks confidently back over to her, and she doesn't even prepare in a fighting stance. When he gets close enough, she turns into a whirlwind, tapping her batons all over his body, sticking to the bony parts. A rap to the elbow, one to the knee, another to the shin. He starts backing away, hands up covering his face, trying to get away from the attack. She is only hitting him just hard enough to leave a bruise, but not hard enough to leave lasting damage. After a few minutes of relentless attacks, she stops, stepping back. Everyone claps, and Flash shakes out the pain.
"Well, that wasn't so bad." He says, and almost instantaneously an arrow comes flying out of nowhere, bouncing off his shin.
Flash yells and jumps back. Luckily, the arrow has a rubber head, so no lasting damage. Clint leaps out of one of the trees and walks over, flicking his bow into a staff. He raps Flash on the head with the staff twice, kicks his shins, and walks away. Flash groans, but stands steadily on his feet.
"C'mon, hit harder than that," He chuckles, then glances at Peter. "Can't even stand up for yourself? Just like you."
Tony narrows his eyes. "Right then, my turn."
He flicks the helmet back down over his face, and strides towards Flash, who starts stumbling backwards.
"Don't kill him, Tony. I want a turn." Steve warns from the sidelines.
Tony doesn't acknowledge him, but walks closer to Flash, backing him against the wall. He stares him down for a minute, and Flash gulps. After another moment, he backs up, leaving everyone confused.
"Actually, you're right. I don't need to hurt you. Peter can do that." He gestures for Peter to come over, who obliges. "Just give him a few solid punches, Pete. Whatever you wanna do."

Peter lets a slow grin spread across his face.
Flash scoffs. "Seriously? What could this wimp do to me? I'll beat you fair and square."
Peter just cracks his knuckles, and waits. Sure enough, Flash starts charging towards him. Peter steps to the side just as Flash is about to punch him. He goes powering past Peter, slows down, and turns around. He charges back the other way, and Peter steps aside once again.
"Stop moving!" Flash growls, then starts running again.
This time, Peter launches himself in the air, flipping over Flash. He lands in a spidey-like pose, and Flash whirls around to face him. He has the slightest traces of doubt on his face, but soon shakes it off and runs at Peter again. This time, Peter just stands there as Flash barrels towards him. As his fist nears his face, Peter lifts his arm with lighting fast reaction and stops the punch in its path. Easily. Flash looked stunned at his fist encased in Peter's hand, who didn't even strain. Peter has stopped worse punches before, heck, he stopped a punch from Bucky, metal arm extraordinaire. Flash's arm trembles as Peter slowly pushes the fist back towards him, as casually as shaking hands.
"Now, for the fun part." Peter lets a grin wisp across his face for a half second, then punches Flash in the gut.
Hard. Hard for Flash, not for Peter. Flash doubles over, and sits down roughly. He groans, cradling his stomach.
"Stand up and fight." Steve calls, disapprovingly.
Flash struggles to his feet, the punch wasn't actually that bad, he was just hoping for some sympathy. He readied his fists, and Peter nodded.
"I punched you, you punch me. Only fair." He reasons, and everyone looks at him in confusion.
Flash shrugs, grinning, finally being able to punch him without getting in trouble.
"Get ready Parker, this is going to hurt." Because of his almost drunken state of ecstasy, be doesn't notice how Peter glances at his hero friends, with badly kept amusement.
He barrels towards Peter, who just stands there, hands dangling by his sides casually. Flash yells, driving his fist into Peter's stomach. And nothing happens. Peter doesn't so much as shift his weight. Flash on the other hand, limps away cradling his hand. Punching Peter's stomach was like punching iron. Driven with rage, he lunges forward with his other hand, this time going for his jaw. Peter only turns his head on the impact, then back to fixing his eyes on Flash.
"I think I felt something that time! A tickle or something." He teases, and Flash growls.
"Fine then. I'll try something different." Flash mutters, eyeing Peter's crotch.
Peter follows his eyeline, then laughs, much to Flash's surprise.
"If you can get to it, go ahead." He chuckles.
Flash comes at Peter, getting ready to kick out, but Peter grabs his leg and pulls, sending Flash sprawling beside him. Peter waits while Flash gets up, and walks back over to Peter, taking a different tactic this time. He keeps coming closer until he is nose to nose with Peter, and tries to stare him down. Peter just stares back, a small smile playing on his lips. Without warning, Flash whips a hand out to smack Peter's crotch, but Peter's hand slaps his away quicker. With lighting speed, Peter knees Flash in his crotch, then walks away, satisfied.
"Okay, I'm done. And so is Flash, I don't wanna hurt him." Peter announces, and Tony nods approvingly.
"Well I'm not done!" Flash yells, running at Peter again.
Peter whirls around, kind of expecting another attack. He dodges Flash's attempts to grab him, dancing neatly out of the way.
"Stop it man!" He protests, mainly annoyed more than anything.
Flash ignore him, still in the mindset that he has to defeat Peter. Peter tries his best not to hurt, or touch Flash at all, only defending himself when necessary.
"Hey guys, I need to only hurt him a little sorry!" Peter yells to the crowd, before beginning.
He runs back away from Flash, and as Flash runs back towards him, he jumps up, swinging a leg over his shoulders, and using the momentum to bring Flash crashing onto his back, Peter straddling his neck carefully. Natasha gives a slight smile in approval, Peter just used the first move Natasha ever taught him, and he did it well. Flash groans a little, but Peter doesn't budge, after checking he could breathe.
"I said, we're done." Peter says forcefully, and gets up off him.
He offers an arm to Flash, who takes it hesitantly. Peter helps him up, then walks back over to the Avengers.
"I think we're done here." He tells the heroes, and they agree, getting back on the Quinjet. Tony wraps an arm around Peter, and they take off into the night, followed by Thor and the Quinjet.
"Best party ever." Peter mutters to himself, grinning widely.

An invasion from another dimension is shut down by an Empire's traitor and the world has a scant few decades to build the strength to resist a multidimensional Empire. How will the world fair when no one even knows its doom is one barred gate away? Fortunately, the traitor has a plan. Maybe with a bit of luck and planning, he can build a force to defend the world without anyone realizing it. Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
