《Peter Parker field trips to SI and Avengers Compound!》Bullies Embarrassment Pt. 1

Peter had fallen asleep in his chemistry class. He'd been out on patrol really late recently. Ever since May kicked him out of their apartment after finding out he was Spider-Man. She had felt betrayed. Peter didn't want to be a bother, but Karen had called Tony after ignoring Peter's complaints. He's been living at Stark Tower for a couple weeks now.
Peter was snoozing away when, a loud voice, returned him to land of the wakeful. "Mr. Parker! Are you sleeping during my lesson?" Came the voice of Mr. Harrison.
Peter opened one eye and looked up at the angry teacher in front of him. "Maybe," He mumbled, still in a sleepy haze. That earned a few snickers from the kids around him.
"Would you like to tell me why having a nap matters more than learning this important material that is on your next test?" Mr. Harrison crossed his arms and looked at Peter expectantly.
Peter sat up and glanced at the board. On it was some fairly easy things he had learned forever ago. In fact everything he did in any type of science or math was, much more likely than not, something he had long mastered.
"I already know everything about what you teach in the curriculum, sir." Peter simply stated. He looked up at the teacher, daring him to challenge his knowledge of the subject. Chemistry was Peter's favourite class, the teacher was just a real headache sometimes.
Mr. Harrison just looked at his watch and shook his head, walking back up to the front of the room. "Class, I have a very important announcement for you all!" He paused waiting for some students to quiet down. "As you all already know, our class won 1st place in the school wide science fair. The school has decided to give us a once in a lifetime opportunity as our prize. We got a trip to... STARK TOWER!" Mr. Harrison added jazz hands for extra affect. The whole class immediately erupted into a fit of cheers. "The trip is tomorrow so you better bring a signed slip, or else no trip!"
Peter's head shot up at the mention of his home. He glanced at Ned who was practically bouncing in his seat. "Ned, what am I gonna do!?" Peter asked his overly excited friend.
"I dunno man, but I can't wait!" Ned said a bit too enthusiastically for someone who's been to the Tower multiple times already and has met The Avengers.

"Ned stop bouncing around so much. You're acting like you've never been there before!" Peter told his hyper best friend.
"Dude, I've never been on the tour before!" Ned replied happily. Peter just shook his head. Don't get him wrong, he was excited for the tour, he'd never actually been around a lot of the Tower before. He just knew something would happen and he'd get embarrassed or Flash would ultimately get himself murdered. His family was very protective of their little innocent baby spider. If anything happened during the tour, they'd all go berserk.
"Hey, Penis Parker," came the annoying voice of Flash behind him, "are you ready for your lie of an internship to be revealed?" He sneered. A couple of Flash's goons laughed. Peter ignored him, getting wrapped up in his thoughts.
Peter had actually, in fact, become an intern at SI. The personal intern of Tony Stark himself. For this fact he was usually up in Tony's or his personal labs. Peter still couldn't believe he had his own lab, that was also connected to Tony's. For this reason, he was never really down in the the intern labs unless he had to grab something. Some of the interns knew who he was and had a high respect for him. Others... not so much.
Some of the Interns hated that they had interned there for years and had never even been noticed by Tony Stark. They despised that a 15 year old had just walked in and immediately became the personal intern of the billionaire. Peter tried to avoid their labs as much as possible if he could.
If they were going on a tour, they would likely go through the intern labs. Uh oh. 'Accidents' always happen when he's there. Peter's pretty sure the only reason he's not in the hospital because of the spiteful interns, is because of his spidey sense and spider fast reflexes that went with it. Either the interns were out to get him, or they were just really bad at their jobs. Peter was fairly sure it was the former.
The loud ring of the bell brought Peter back to reality. He quickly gathered up his stuff, grabbed a form, and said a quick goodbye to Ned. Rushing outside before anyone could stop him, he hopped into the fancy car waiting for him.
"Hey, Happy!" He said a little less cheerfully than usual.
"Hey, kid. How was school?" Happy asked, preparing for an earful from Peter. If he was being honest though, he had a real soft spot for the young teen. It made his day hearing what the kid did at school.

"Oh, I aced my history test! It was on Stark Industries, and I live there so it's hard for me not to know everything about!" Peter said happily. "I called Shuri at lunch and she, Ned, MJ, and I all talked about some new designs we were coming up with for the R2D2 we wanna build. We also discussed some pranks we want to use in the next prank war!" Peter rambled. He avoided the topic of the field trip.
Once they were back at the Tower, Peter said a quick farewell to Happy and ran in through the private entrance only meant for the Avengers, Bucky, Loki, Pepper, and himself. No one else could enter it unless given access by Tony or Pepper.
"Welcome home, Peter," Friday's monotone voice greeted him as he made the quick trip to the 100th floor.
"Hey, Fri. Should I know anything before entering the Penthouse?" Peter asked. Something was always happening when he got home. Whether it was another prank war, or an argument over which avenger had the best nose(don't ask).
"Loki is in a cooking contest with Mr. Barton. Mr. Rogers is currently putting out a fire." Peter sighed and thanked Friday. He plugged his nose knowing the smell of smoke would be horrible, especially with heightened senses.
When the doors slid opened, Peter had to stifle a scream as he ducked. A fry pan full of flaming food had nearly smacked him in the face. He looked up to see Clint laughing like a maniac, while Steve scolded him for bad behaviour. Loki materialized next to Peter and helped him off the floor, apologizing profusely. "That was supposed to hit Clint. I'm sorry young Peter!"
"Don't sweat it, Uncle Loki. No harm done." Peter smiled. Peter had begun calling everyone aunt and uncle, except for Wanda. She was more of a sister to him. Peter looked at Loki's cooking outfit and tried not to laugh at what his apron stated. It was green and said, 'This guy thinks he's all cool, but he's a real softy. He can't hide his true nature from us!' In Russian.
Peter looked behind him at where the fry pan had hit the elevator wall. There was a huge dent and the pan was still on fire, embedded in the wall. No harm done to him anyway. Peter thought about what would have happened if it had hit someone, and shook his head.
"Uncle Loki you've gotta be more careful. Look what you did to the wall!" Peter pointed it out. "If that had hit someone, they would've died!"
"It was Clint's fault! He threw his pan at me first, I just used my magic to block it and that knocked the pan back towards his head." Loki defended. Peter just laughed and grabbed the fire extinguisher, putting out the fire.
"I'm gonna go do my homework now!" Peter said, grabbing his bag and heading to his room.
~This is Merlin and he's a Zebra! He just wanted to say hi while the time skip happened. He is the mother of Mary.~
Since Loki and Clint burnt down the kitchen they decided--after a lot of arguing--to have pizza. Peter, of course, had about 3 large meat lover pizzas all to himself. His high metabolism made this possible, and he wasn't complaining. The field trip had almost been completely forgotten.
That, of course, didn't last. Peter was in the middle of talking about his day when he remembered the field trip. Natasha must've saw his sudden hesitation and smirked. "Hey Pete, are you excited for that field trip tomorrow?" She asked loudly. Everyone stopped their conversations to stare at Peter for an explanation.
"Well...uh...I, uh...." He wasn't sure what to say.
"Kid, why didn't you tell me you were going on a field trip?" Tony questioned.
Before Peter could come up with an explanation, Natasha pulled the crumpled purple form out of her pocket. "I think I know," she displayed the form for everyone to see. STARK TOWER was written in bold letters at the top of the paper.
"Guys, don't you dare do anything tomorrow!" Peter begged his family. They all had evil grins plastered on their faces. Little did Peter know, they weren't planning his embarrassment. They were planning the downfall of an extremely hated bully that, they totally didn't know about because they hacked into school security cameras immediately after meeting Peter.
Noooooooo, what ever would make you think that...?
Peter, innocent little cinnamon roll Peter, thought they were planning ways to embarrass him. He began imagining all the terrible things they could do. Even Pepper had the evil grin. He watched as Tony signed the paper and slid it across the table to him.
"I hope you have a fun trip, Peter!"

There is only one problem: she may be losing control of her abilities. Sixteen years after a global pandemic devastated the earth’s population, the lines in the old United States have been drawn between the Cheyenne Directorate in Colorado and the New England Alliance on the East Coast. The Directorate, of which Alexandra is a part, is a small but powerful organization dedicated to returning the country to its former glory. However, when a diplomatic mission to the New England Alliance goes wrong, Alexandra finds herself at the center of a bloody civil war. Battles are fought on the old highways and in dilapidated towns and once-great cities. And as the conflict escalates, all of North America faces the threat of being burnt away by nuclear fire. Against this backdrop of war, Alexandra tries to uncover the long-hidden secrets behind the plague, her abilities, and the two men fighting to decide the fate of the United States - Henry Bedford, Alexandra's father and leader of the Directorate, and John Martin, the mysterious figure at the heart of the New England Alliance who may hold the key to everything she seeks. None of this will matter, however, unless Alexandra can prevent the power growing inside her from taking over and consuming the very world she is fighting to save. Author's Notes: I appreciate you taking a look at my novel, The Girl from the Mountain. If you're a fan of post-apocalyptic fiction, military thrillers, and/or cosmic horror, I think you'll enjoy this story. I completed the novel's first draft back in 2011 and made significant changes in 2016. Since then, I've more-or-less sat on the manuscript while working on other projects. Thanks to a bit of prodding, I've decided to send this story out into the wild with some touch-ups and additional revisions. I welcome any comments or criticisms, and I hope you enjoy The Girl from the Mountain!
