at the age of 7, i meet a family with a girl about 4 years older than me. she smiles at me and i smile back while my mother talks to hers.
the girl and her family join my church and i see them more often. after school i walk to my mother's sewing shop and master Portal Runner on my Playstation 2 in my play room.
the girl and her mother show up. the girl joins me in the play room while our mother's tend to their business. i happily play my video game with her. this repeats for a few days.
"i can make you pregnant." she says to a curious 7 year-old with a grey Playstation controller.
"how?" i, the 7 year-old, pause the game in excitement. i turn to her and she shows me. she places her hand in the front of my pants and pushes her fingers into places they don't belong, a smile on her face all the while. i couldn't help but smile back.
days pass and she kisses me, up against a wall, my legs dangling behind her. i hug her close and she smiles at me. i smile back.
i didn't feel the need to tell. i didn't feel bad for our actions. i felt happy to see her smile.
her name will be M.
