like, not love.
Jeongguk sighed softly pushing all the files that he had to go through to know about the projects that the company was handling and all the upcoming signed projects. He was devastated to have all this work load. In short he wasn't just ready for all this.
"Sir, your tea. May I come in?" someone asked and peeked inside the cabin and Jeongguk nodded giving him the permission, "Yeah, come in before my head's gonna explode."
"Here." the tall boy who was a staff of the office placed the cup of tea on Jeongguk's table and was about to leave when his boss asked, "Mr. Kim here, Soobin?"
"No, sir. He still didn't arrive yet." Soobin smiled and bowed before exiting the room leaving an impatient Jeon Jeongguk inside.
The black haired male just didn't want to work, he wanted to sing― he wanted to forget everything and pour out all the feelings inside. He missed his guitar at the moment but he is safe because his heavenly voice just didn't need anything more. It was self sufficient.
He pulled out his phone out and played one of his favorite songs, paper hearts. Feeling the soft rhythm of the song, he started singing along with the singer, even Tori Kelly would have appreciated him if she heard how he sang the song.
Meanwhile Taehyung sighed when he saw that he was late for the meeting with Jeongguk. Yeontan was the one who caused him to stay a little longer at home than he should― he loved the smart dog more than anyone else at the moment. Key word at the moment.
"I have a meeti..." Taehyung was cut off by a tall boy at the reception, "Sir is waiting for you Mr. Kim." and sighed again because it was so not him to get late, he was very punctual.

"Okay, alright." Taehyung bowed a little and hurried to the elevator but stopped in the middle. Why are you rushing like this? He can wait. He thought to himself and slowed his pace.
He finally reached the cabin and stopped himself from pulling the glass door when he heard the most heavenly voice. Taehyung didn't walk in, instead stood outside and listened to the sweet voice, "He sings so good."
The song ended and Taehyung regretted that on his decision to slow his pace cause if he didn't, he could have heard the whole song. But there was no way to rectify what he did and at last he pulled the glass door and entered the cabin catching Jeongguk off guard.
"Oh Taehyung, hey!" Jeongguk greeted in a nervous tone as he was wondering if Taehyung heard him singing.
"Hey." Taehyung replied and settled himself on the chair in front of Jeongguk's one. The glass table between them, "I must say you have such a nice voice. Your singing is great."
"Oh, so you heard it." Jeongguk said, a little shy and Taehyung smiled, "Yeah wanted to hear a little more but unfortunately the song ended."
"I can sing a song for you. For only you." Jeongguk excitedly said and Taehyung wondered how can this boy in front of him just change his shy expression to excited one in a second.
"No, no. I am here for business not for listening to your song." Taehyung declined the latter's offer making him roll his eyes, "So boring. You are just so boring."
"I know. Now let's talk about our project. How did you guys plan on the publicity..... this book is very dear to me Jeongguk, and I want everything to be perfect. Please." Taehyung requested and Jeongguk smiled.

"I will try my best, don't you worry." Jeongguk smiled and a question arose in his mind, something was stopping him from asking but he still did.
"Why is it so special to you? I mean why this book is so special?" Jeongguk finally asks and Taehyung just bit his bottom lip before smiling at the younger.
"I started writing it when Joonie was with me, the main character.... I portrayed him like him, so perfect and this book is dedicated to him. How the time we spent together was the most beautiful moments of my life." Taehyung reveals and Jeongguk felt a light pang in his heart, as if small needles were prickling inside softly.
"You still want him?" Jeongguk asks praying that Taehyung would say no.
"I don't know about my feelings but he still wants me." Taehyung feels his heart clench when he said this. Yes, Namjoon wanted Taehyung back and it was Taehyung who wasn't letting him in his life again. He knew he liked him but he still loved him― Taehyung was quite unsure about that.
"You do like him Taehyung. I can feel it in your voice." Jeongguk points out and Taehyung chuckled, "Really? Then you want me to go back to him?"
"Whatever makes you happy." Jeongguk says shutting his eyes close and Taehyung realized that this 24 year old boy was very precious and he was so pure at heart.
"Don't worry Jeon Jeongguk, I like Namjoon still now, maybe because he was the person I loved, but I don't think I love him like I used to. You still got a chance." Taehyung with a teasing tone said, not meaning anything serious and Jeongguk smiled.
"This is complicated but thank God."
