《Captain Marvel》Chapter 10: Skrull War

Carol and Mar-Vell were standing on the edge of the landing bay as thin air was staring right at them. To clear the area out quicker, they were going to send out two of their best fighters to defend the planet.
"Do you do this most of the time?" Carol asked, preparing to jump.
"What? Protecting the planet? We do this more often than not." Mar-Vell answered.
"No I meant jumping of a ship to skydive into your planet."
"First time, Ms. Danvers."
"We're screwed."
"That's why there's always a first for everything." Mar-Vell smirked at Carol and proceeded to jump off the ship.
Carol shook her head and jumped off as well.
With the ability of strength in play, they dropped a lot quicker than an average ship. Carol gained a lot of speed because of her ability to fly. She aimed towards the large garden area to land. There were blasters and rockets being fired across the place.
She landed in the large garden and got to work immediately. She helped the troopers regain territory that the Skrulls had taken over. She handled the opposing army with ease. Throwing them into the ground, using energy to blast them, and plowing through the attackers.
Mar-Vell walked towards her after taking care of the northern side. Korath's ship hovered over them before trying to find a landing spot. While they tried to find one, Carol and Mar-Vell continued to fight back the Skrulls.
"What's below the bridges?" Carol asked, walking towards a big one.
"Eternal abyss. Never seen ever again."
"Even if you can fly?" Carol sarcastically asked.
"Even if you can." Mar-Vell repeated.
Carol used a large amount of energy to clear the military weaponry that were being placed on the bridges. Some Skrulls fell off the bridge while the rest held on for dear life. Korath came from behind them and started providing cover fire.

"It's better if we split up and divide and conquer." Mar-Vell suggested. "There's too many areas to cover."
"If we get rid of there main purpose, then we get rid of their army." Ronan said. "Now let's go to the Supreme Intelligence."
"But your buildings are burning." Carol pointed out.
"They'll be put out once we get rid of the Skrulls goal."
"Take Mar-Vell. I can take care of these Skrulls." Carol said.
"What are you doing?" Ronan questioned her.
"I'm going to save some Kree lives."
"There's no way of stopping you." Ronan sighed and looked at their group, "Take Nenora. She'll help you."
Mar-Vell, Ronan, and Korath started running towards the Supreme Intelligence. Nenora and Carol looked towards the burning buildings where some civilians were being cornered.
"Try to get them out." Carol commanded. She looked more closely and some Skrulls were trying to stop them from escaping. "I'll give them an easier and less violent way of getting down."
"Alright boss." Nenora chuckled.
"Never call me boss, again." Carol scoffed sarcastically and quickly float up.
She levelled herself with the floor that had Skrulls defending the stairwell. Carol broke through the wall and knocked out both of the soldiers. Suddenly a large man with a cannon walked around the color. He charged the weapon up and fired at her.
"This is going to hurt." Carol muttered, taking a blast of energy. But she slowly collected the energy that was being fired at her and she shot it all back. It flung him back through the wall, leading him towards the abyss. "It's alright, Carol, it's eternal abyss."
"This building is almost out. But I saw one of the floors acting as a fortress." Nenora reported.

As Carol flew towards the next building, she saw some shooting below her. It was energy bolts so she decided to use some. She gathered it around her hand and threw it back. It caused a massive explosion on the side of the building and most of the debris started falling into the abyss.
She dodged the debris as she started flying up. If there was some portion of a wall that was too big, she would simply throw it back up and use it as a weapon.
On the other side of the capital, Starforce were making their way towards the Supreme Intelligence easily. Ronan's fierce leadership led them through the barricades of the Skrulls. Many Skrulls stood face to face against them on the opposite side of the wall that was separating them from the Supreme Intelligence.
"What's you take on the situation, Ronan?" Korath asked.
"Stand down now or we will start firing at you!" One of the Skrulls shouted.
"I was expecting something else but this situation is basically the same." Mar-Vell said, charging up his hands with energy.
Before Ronan struck his weapon to the ground, Mar-Vell placed energy to it which sent shockwaves towards the energy. It led to too much energy that the military equipment was fried.
Korath threw a bomb on the wall of the Supreme Intelligence room. That's where Starforce entered. Korath threw grenades inside as Mar-Vell and Ronan entered. They both started beating the living hell out of the Skrulls. The hammer and strength were no use of fighting back.
When they finished fighting, they realized that it was too late. The ceiling was hanging with wires and weird splashes of coloured water were found around the place.
"So the Skrulls plan was to get rid of the Supreme Intelligence." Ronan sighed and started hitting everything.
"This much destruction..." Mar-Vell looked around, "is too much."
"Who in the Skrull army is capable of almost taking down the whole civilisation." Korath asked.
"The most ruthless one," Ronan looked at both of them, "the Super-Skrull."
