Poppy knew that she was going to have to lock herself away in order to figure out what it was that she was going to have to do in order to set herself apart from the rest of the Avengers in order to figure out what the hell she was going to do. She was used to the normal ghosts that were going to be with her and tell her the things that she was used to hearing. About how they missed their family or how they wanted nothing more than to find peace and return to wherever it was that they had to return to. But not this one – this one, she could tell was after a vengeance that it had to wrap its fist around, and it had to do whatever it was that it had to in order to gain its hold on sanity.
And Poppy was its form of sanity.
The dark-haired girl glanced around herself as she stared at the ghost in front of her as she was locked in her office, knowing that it was probably the safest place for her to be as she looked at the figure in front of her. The Kree was a woman, its dark hair twisted into braids as it stared at her. The woman tilted her head to the side as she stared at her and there were so many things that she had on her mind as she stared at Poppy, and it was easy for her to see that. It was easy for her to see that there were things on her mind that she wanted to say to her, and Poppy just wanted to Kree to get it out. TO let out everything that was on their mind so that she could return to the normalcy – or whatever that was – of her life.

The dark-haired woman made her way over to her desk and she leaned against it and she folded her arms over her chest for a few seconds as she stared at the ghost in front of her. She knew that there had to be something that had to be said, and she had to leave it to the room. Leave it up to the Kree in front of her and that was when the alien stepped forward and tilted her head to the side as she stared at the woman in front of her.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "So, you're the one that is able to speak to the dead," The Kree woman spoke to her and she tilted her head to the side as she stared at the woman. Poppy narrowed her eyes at her for a few seconds, before the alien continued. "I have to say, you would not be the person that I would believe would be able to hold such a gift."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "If you are here to insult me, then you might as well leave. I have dealt with your kind before, and I'm not afraid to do it again," Poppy snapped at the other woman, and she watched as a smirk appeared on her lips as she straightened her shoulders. "Now, your people don't tend to speak first, throw hands second; so, what are you doing here? What do you want?"
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Kree woman made her way over toward her and stared at her for a few seconds as she stared at her, narrowing her eyes at her for a few seconds. The two of them stared at each other, before the Kree let out a scoff, "There was a vision that our people had seen, a weapon that we were sent after. I was on the mission that was after the weapon for someone that wants to take over the universe—"

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Take over the universe?" Poppy cut her off as she raised her eyebrows. "Really?"
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The Kree nodded her head, "Yes. He has a plan for the universe, one that he will not disclose with those any lower than his station. What he has planned for the universe is nothing that it has ever seen before and centennial beings wouldn't wish it on anyone else in the known galaxy. There are things that I have seen in my life, and I wish death on him."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "And what do you want me to do about it?" Poppy questioned as she narrowed her eyes at the Kree as she stood up straight, shifting in her stance as she stared at the woman in front of her. The dark-haired woman took a few steps closer to her, her head tilted to the side as she continued to stare at her. The alien woman only stared at the woman in front of her, and that was when Poppy began to piece together everything. "You want the Avengers to take care of the mess that your people had started."
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "Isn't it that clear?" The woman questioned as she stared at her, before shaking her head. She took a few steps closer to the woman in front of her before she nodded her head. "The universe needs a band of heroes to take on the enemy that's coming through the cosmos, and your heroes are some of those among them. Your heroes will meet some other heroes and you will be responsible for the safety of the universe."
And with her final words, the ghost of the Kree disappeared.
Poppy didn't have a chance to say anything else to her as she stared at where the ghost once stood. There were so many things with the very little that the Kree ghost had said to her, and she knew that she was going to have to work out everything that she had said. She was going to have a very long life in order to work it all out, but she knew that it was only going to be a matter of time before the big threat that the Kree woman had threatened them with was going to make its way to them.
There were so many things that were going to happen, and she had to figure out a way to bring them all back. She had to figure out a way to stop whatever was going to happen in the future, and she knew that she was going to have to figure out a way to get Carol to come back and help. Because if the enemy had anything to do with the Kree, that it was a danger that Carol Danvers was going to have to help with – because it was going to be the most dangerous threat that they were ever going to deal with.
In quite a long time.

Book 1: The Forgotten Fighter
Follow a collection of chance encounters turned potential allies as numerous forces work to tear through the fabric of reality. Viamarr, a continent in the world of Rinterria, holds host to our tale and to the city of High Morr, which sits snugly on its frozen island in the middle of a great frostbitten lagoon. When High Morr is suddenly crippled by a series of mysterious sinkholes, our heroes do what they do best. Try to run. Keep up with them to find out where they end up and what exactly is chasing them in return. I hope to publish a new chapter 3 times a week. This is reduced from my previous number, hopefully temporarily, due to an increased workload outside of Royal Road. I welcome any and all feedback to improve my writing, so thank you for taking the time to check out my page.

As our heroes begin their journey to win the Second Icarian-Orion War, they will go through many trials and tribulations.
