《Granger-Swan Reunion》~Ugly Duckling or Beautiful Swan?~

Dinner was rolling around and nobody had gotten word about Hermione's whereabouts. Not even her parents, but they weren't worried, they knew their son in law was with her. The family was in the dining hall even though none of them knew how. The dining hall was expensive and they didn't ask for it in their package for the hotel.
"Of course I did." Kayla's mother Alexandra chuckled. She dyed her hair red and had botox done the day before they met up. Edward could still smell her fresh needle marks in her face from it. Like her face her tummy and breast were also done. They were done well but so unnecessary. She took the booking as her own and her family believed it. Edward knew otherwise. She was just as confused as the others.
"She's lying." Edward murmured.
"Doubt it." Bella shook her head. Edward looked at her as if she had grown another head. How can she doubt what he said when he could hear thoughts.
"So, Jean where is Hermione? You said she was to be here and yet she isn't." Her step cousin Elizabeth said with a small smirk.
"My mommy will be here. She keeps her promises." Scorpius glared at the woman.
"I'm sure she does twerp." Kayla glared back. He tried to keep from being scared of her but being only four it didn't take long for him to break.
Jean tried to keep Scorpius calm as the family whispered about Hermione in front of his face. He wiped away his tears with his head down. He didn't understand why people were talking so badly about his mother who he never seen do any wrong.
Edward who was sitting next to the boy could hear him swearing at the family in his mind. He wondered where he learned such language from. Then he caught whiff of a scent he hadn't smelled in a long time.

In Hogwarts he posed as a boy named Cedric Diggory. Why? Because all of the war was laid out for the order. He took place of his own great great nephew, his doppleganger because he would have died without it. He's in the open now and happily living his life.
His head turned to the dining hall doors and he watched as a beautiful woman entered. She was wearing a red cocktail dress with a sweetheart neckline. It was a vintage style swing dress Aubrey Hepburn might have worn. Her heels were simple black ones that made her slender legs seem longer.
Her hair was down in neat waves, much tamer than when she was younger but still full of volume. Her earthy brown eyes were emphasized with the help of neutral make up colors. Her figure was beautiful, nobody with eyes could deny such a thing.
"Mommy!" Scorpius let out a sob seeing her. He raced over and she caught him in her arms. Scorpius buried his face into her neck and locked his little legs around her body like he did with his arms.
"My little dragon what happened?" Hermione asked rubbing his back.
"They were saying mean things about you." He whimpered.
"Aw my little dragon don't you mind them. Look at you, with your eyes grey you look so much like your dad." Hermione moved his head so she could look and wipe his eyes.
"Really?" Scorpius asked. All he wanted was to be like his father, the good side of him. Looking like him was one step closer.
"Oh yes. We're you good with your nana and papa?" Hermione asked walking over to the seat he once sat in.
"Of course." Scorpius nodded.
"I believe you." Hermione chuckled and looked over to the man who she sat next to. Her heart nearly leaped out of her chest seeing him. She had met with Cedric many times over the years but she always remembered that day Harry believed he died. It traumatized her and it was still strange to see him alive.

"Ced-"
He shook his head.
"Edward Cullen." He introduced himself.
Hermione? She heard in her head.
Y-yes? She answered.
I was Cedric Diggory at one point. I posed as him. He's my great great nephew. Does any of that ring a bell?
Ah yes. Hermione nodded slightly as she focused on her son.
It's nice to see you again. You're the last person I expected.
As to you. Why are you here?
I married your cousin. Bella.
Edward tried to get passed her walls again but she had completely blocked him out. He left her mind before she forced him out.
"So you have a child. Where is his father?" Alexandra asked.
"My husband will be arriving a little later. Something happened at the office."
"Married? And his father?" Alexandra asked.
"I told you, " Hermione shot her a look, "something happened at the office."
"Where'd you get your teeth done hermy?" Kayla snarked.
"I didn't get them done. I told you before, as I get older my teeth will start to fit me." Hermione sighed.
"And the rest of your face?" Kayla asked.
"Hermione, meet my husband. Edward." Bella smirked looking at her cousin. Hermione turned to Edward without the same reaction as her cousins.
"Pleasure. Hermione." She shook his hand.
"Pleasure." Edward nodded.
Bella didn't like the reaction she had gotten. She wanted her cousin to drool over him like many others did so she could rub it in her face that she was the only one to have him. Hermione turned back to Scorpius who was tapping her shoulder.
"How did the ugly duckling turn into that?" Amber asked over dinner. They weren't being quiet about it but Hermione didn't care. She spoke to the cousins she was close with and defended her through the years.
After dinner they were moved to a private garden, again Alexandra took the unknown booking as hers. Edward saw Hermione scoff and roll her eyes.
"You did this?" Jean asked her daughter.
"Maybe. Come on baby lets go play." Hermione took Scorpius be the hand. He nodded and raced off with her in tow to play with the fairies that only let him and Hermione see them.

The Kind Devil
Five veteran players of the old-fashioned but outdated VRMMO game, Orge's Bone, meet in the game for one last time before leaving forever. As real life friends, they were torn apart by certain matters, and now decided to say goodbye in the way they know best; a free for all battle royale. However, little do they know that fate has a twist to spin. As they fight it out in a folorn map, they stumble upon a secret teleport gate. Out of curioisity, they all enter it. They find a world more graphicly advanced than the current number one game, and NPCs that really don't act like they should. The game settings are similar to Orge's Bone; there are no levels, only physical strenght gains, which is gained by killing monsters and completing quests. They treat the hidden world as their greenhouse– a place to retreat when the real world treats them unfairly. But after a while, they discover no everything is as it seems– that the hidden world is far more dangerous. Michael is a cultivator whose goal in life is to change the tragic martial world, where killing is like breathing, into a land of peace. It will center a lot around how he'll change the perspectives of those around him, and how he tries to draft more cultivators to his cause, starting with the toughest nut to crack, the ruthless, bloodthirsty and easily-triggered Rector. Last but not least, with how he is met by the greatest tragedy and is forced to make the hardest choice.
