I was examining the she-wolf who would surely do the job for me. She would play her role well. All innocent now, but behind everyone's back a total back stabber. Her job? To become part of the Dark Crescent Moon Pack. Then she will tell me everything that is going on. Hopefully, we can get Annabelle's new 'mate' alone. That is when the games will begin. We will attack in a week. Then we will have war against the Dark Crescent Moon pack. I must kidnap Annabelle at her weakest, her most vulnerable. And little Ellie here will help me do that.

Annabelle

Everyone stopped. Logan even retreated a few steps. They stared, Trevor even seemed to be frightened. Seeing no further threat, Isabelle relinquished control. My bones started shifting back and I stood from my crouched position. Fawn was the first to snap out of it. I was thinking, if I didn't shift into my wolf what did I shift into?

"What was that?" Fawn asked.

Trevor seemed to be thinking. Colton voiced the answer.

"She shifted into a Lycan." Colton said.

"That's impossible, they have basically gone extinct." Trevor argued.

Colton shook his head. "You misunderstood, she isn't a Lycan. She simply took the form of one."

"Only, royals can do that." Trevor said.

Colton smirked. "She is royalty."

Everyone looked at me in question and I looked over at Colton with a bit of a glare. He shrugged and mouthed 'show them' I nodded.

"I think it's best I show you." I said.

I walked behind a near by tree and stripped. I called to my wolf and easily shifted. I walked out of the trees and over to them. They stared mouth agape and eyes wide. Trevor smiled in realisation, having seen my wolf before. I turned my back to them and sat down. They gasped.

"Your the Destined wolf." Fawn said in awe and surprise.

I turned back around and nodded. Avalon and Kristy walked out of the front door. When they saw me they squealed and ran over. They gave me a hug. I smiled in wolf form, which came out as a toothy grin.

"We missed you so much, Annabelle." Kristy said.

"Yeah totally." Avalon said.

I yipped. They pulled back. I ran over to the trees and quickly shifted. When I walked back fully clothed I ran over and gave them a hug, I saw Kate and Syphone over their shoulders and winked at them. They understood that this was Avalon and Kristy.

"Guys I want you to meet some people." Kristy and Avalon pulled away. I waved Syphone and Kate over.

"Avalon, Kristy meet Kate and Syphone." They all said 'hi's' and 'hey's' before shaking hands.

"Oh my god do either of you like Justin Bieber?" Kristy said excitedly. Oh no not again. Kate squealed.

"Are you kidding me he is yumalicious." Kate said. Syphone groaned.

"It was bad enough with Kate now there's two of you." Syphone said. Avalon laughed.

"That's how I feel." Avalon said.

"Yeah we are all friends!" I said happily. Mwhuhaha I was right we are totally all cool.

We all squealed happily and had a huge group hug. "Let's go shopping!!!" Kate and Kristy said at the same time.

"Guys we need to unpack first." I said with a smirk. Avalon and Kristy shared a look before smiling.

"we can help." They said simultaneously. I smiled.

"I figured you'd say that."

Colton and the boys helped bring the luggage upstairs. Kristy kept eyeing Colton and when I growled the second time she got the memo. Avalon helped me unpack and when we finished we went to help Syphone. After we finished we walked back into my room. I was still thinking of what happened earlier. What did I shift into? And why did everyone get so frightened? I put it to the side, i'll head to the library or ask Trevor about it later.

"So, what's up between you and that guy?" Kristy asked. I knew she meant Colton.

"They're mated." Kate answered for me.

"Oh" Kristy said sheepishly. "Sorry?" She said unsure.

I smirked "It's okay Kristy he's quite the looker I know." They all laughed at that. Avalon gasped.

"OH MY GOD! THAT MEANS YOU DID THE NAAAASTYY!" Avalon shouted. I laughed.

"No shit Sherlock! The man himself could've figured that one out." Kristy said laughing.

"Give us the details!" Kristy said.

"Don't get your hopes up we already tried, but by the sound of it. I'd say it was goooood." Syphone said snickering. They all cracked up laughing.

"Syphoneee! Twice today!" I said.

"So, when I left. Who did he mate?" I asked looking down somewhat. Avalon made a sound of disgust.

"Amber." Kristy said. My mouth went agape.

"As in the pack slut!" I said rather loudly.

"Well...." Kristy said dragging it out. She was hiding something.

"What else is there?" I asked.

Kate layed on her stomach next to me on my left and Syphone and Avalon to my right on my bed. Kristy sat in front of us in a bean bag chair in front of my bed. She cleared her throat.

"To clear things up for Syphone and Kate, Amber was known as the pack slut. She was going after Logan who is actually Avalon's older brother and supposed to-be-Alpha. But, when Annabelle came to town he found out they were mates. I assume you know the rest of the story about how he marked someone else?" Kristy asked them. They nodded. "Well, he marked Amber. He figured she would be the easiest to you know convince and well wouldn't refuse. Turns out Amber is actually my brother Brent's mate. When Brent found out he became extremely angry and told her off. Brent told me that night when he came home that he had rejected her and that she used to be an innocent shy girl. When he rejected her she changed, therefore becoming a slut. So, she basically went after Logan for revenge on Brent because they are best friends. After that night, Amber changed alot she still wears contacts instead of her old glasses, but doesn't dress like a slut. She always helps out around the pack house. Brent noticed the change and marked her. So yeah, and now Logan is all lonely for his mistake. Boo hoo." Kristy said.

I frowned. "So Amber gave me dirty looks and all that shit, for revenge?" I asked.

Avalon gave me a sad smile. "Yeah pretty much."

I was furious. I stormed out of my room ignoring their calls to come back. I think it was time I had a little heart to heart with Amber. The door slammed open when I glared at it. I smirked knowing I used my newly developed telepathic powers, no one new about those yet. The ground crunched under my feet as I walked. Silver was covering my eyesight and I knew Isabelle was taking over. I felt my appearance change. My hair got darker and longer. My curls fell in ringlets down my back and I got a lighter complexion. My sight cleared again, and I knew my eyes were silver. I saw ginger colored hair walking past the children. Amber was holding her balloon shaped belly, but that only got me angrier. She was having a child. And I couldn't, all because she ruined my chances. I'm with Colton now and I love him with all my heart, but i felt a pang of fury seeing how she could have a child with the person she loved and I couldn't. She turned and made eye contact. Her eyes widened in fear for a second before realisation and sorrow took it's place. She walked over hesitantly. I took in what she was wearing, and found Avalon and Kristy right. Nothing slutty. She was wearing paternity pants and a long sleeved baby blue sweater. My appearance started to change again and Isabelle was residing. I wasn't totally angry anymore. I didn't want to stress out her or the baby. Although she probably doesn't deserve happiness after what she put me through. What she did deserve though was a second chance. I smiled when I saw her rub her tummy.

"Annabelle? Can i talk to you for a minute?" She asked softly. I almost didn't recognise it she sounded so innocent and sweet.

"Sure." She smiled. And I smiled back.

We walked past some trees and she began.

"Annabelle i'm so sorry, for what I did. Logan is your mate and you two deserved to be happy. I shouldn't have tried to take him away from you, when I had a perfect mate already. I was blinded by rage and revenge for what Brent did. I hope that someday you can forgive me for my mistakes. I'm truly sorry." She said while she turned to face me.

"Amber, I understand and I...I forgive you. Everybody deserves a second chance. And congratulations on the baby." I smiled.

"Oh thanks, i'm so excited. I'm going to have a baby shower soon. I hope you can come also."

"I'd love to, and If you don't mind me asking, how far ahead are you?"

"About two and a half months almost three." She said.

"Wow, so that baby will be popping out soon." I said. She laughed.

"Yeah, well it was nice talking to you Annabelle."

"Yes it was, i'll see you late Amber."

"Okay, bye." She started to walk away.

"Bye." I was happy for her. And surprised she was so far ahead in her pregnancy. Werewolf babies only have to carry the baby for four months, and she was already more than half way. She deserved to be happy. I just wished she would have figured out her mistake before she made anymore. Then I could have been happy with Logan.

Logan

I sat and stared at my ceiling. What did I expect? She was a beautiful girl who got betrayed by her mate. There was bound to be some guy who'd treat her the way I should have. Annabelle wasn't stupid either so that guy either got rejected by his mate or she had died. Annabelle wouldn't mate with a guy who had a mate out their. She wasn't like me. Annabelle was kind, caring, funny, outgoing, and perfect. And I let her go, with one stupid, stupid mistake. It had cost me her and my wolf. She obviously has no feelings whatsoever towards me besides pity. I was going to get her back, no matter what. She was mine! I was going to treat her nicely and I would behave around her new 'mate.' But I was going to get her back. Whether it be the last thing I do or not. Something in me stirred and I realised that once I got her back I was never going to let her go.
