"Abyss?"
One of Wang Siyuan's many hobbies was to read novels, so he naturally knew what Li Jiayu meant when he mentioned the Abyssal Dimension. His blood ran cold as he mulled over the matter and replied anxiously.
"In regards to the abyss, are you perhaps referring to the plane which tolerates the existences of undead creatures? But that only exists in the fictional world and not reality. It’s too exaggerated. How could it be true?!"
"So, are you telling me that in your eyes, those insects rampaging around campus grounds are false? Are you implying that everyone's eyes are experiencing the same illusion, having the same dream?"
Li Jiayu took a cursory glance of the students in class and said mockingly, "The abyss is as you've guessed. It is filled with a variety of undead creatures such as skeletons, zombies and those are only the common ones.
They are not strong, as the only things they can rely on are their toughened flesh and undying vessels. In order to destroy them, you'll have to damage their soul flames on the premise that you tear them to shreds or else they'll come after you, even if you decapitate them. They'll resort to biting and their bodies to tear you to shreds. They are that unrelenting...
There also exist stronger creatures such as undead beasts, dragons and liches. The power they hold can't be measured by science... Also spectrals, capable of invading you souls and gaining control of your body..."
On the topic of spectrals, Li Jiayu's face sunk as he grinded his molars. In his past life, he had a companion by the name of Qin Siyao. She was an attractive woman - curvaceous and gorgeous like a ripened peach. She assumed the role of a nanny within the group. Possessing incredible medical and acupuncture skills, she also had an affable character, loved by her companions and almost became the vice captain of the group...
However, during a battle against Dragon Thunder Wolf, Li Jiayu got severely wounded. His internal organs were ruptured and turned dark all over; he was basically on the brink of death.
Qin Shiyao had always looked upon Li Jiayu as a younger brother and, hence, was willing to give up anything to save him. In the end, she expended half her lifespan in exchange and freed him from the venomous jaws of death.
Suffering from the setbacks of the huge loss of vitality, she fell into a state of coma inevitably and in this moment of frailness, a ghost managed to invade and possess her!
Remorse ingrained itself deep in his mind as though a thousand-venom-laced knife was stabbing unceasingly at his heart. If he’d known of the matter, he would rather commit suicide than to let her suffer!
Because... That ghost was a Lustful Spirit!
As its name stated, it was a licentious spirit which possessed lust like no other. It was a monster that thrived for intimate exchanges between humans as nutrition for its deprived soul.
Qin Shiyao had undergone a drastic change after she awoke from her coma. Her once gentle and demure nature morphed into one of debauchery. Throwing down a strong muscular member of the group, she had begun to have intercourse with him under the dismayed gazes of the public.
Within three days, she had slept with everyone either through forced or underhanded methods, apart from Li Jiayu. If it hadn’t been for his severe injuries and inability to get erect, it was estimated that he would not have escaped her claws!

The men who had one night relations with Qin Shiyao were rendered powerless overnight. They had their energies and vitality sucked dry, inevitably suffering a steep decline in strength!
Afterward, Qin Shiyao left the team in pursuit of other men... Whenever she discovered a strong individual, her eyes would shine and then proceed to utilize her underhanded means...
Those who had once known her felt heartache and pitied her greatly. Who would have known that such a good woman would end up in such a desolate state...
Three years later, Qin Shiyao's prowess had attained inhumane heights through the baptism of men's vitality. Even ten dragons would not have necessarily been worthy opponents!
Li Jiayu who had been at the edge of his patience finally attained a new pinnacle of strength and baited Qin Shiyao with his body. As a dark summoner, his prowess had proved to be a fatal attraction because Qin Shiyao failed to endure herself in the end and the pair ended up embroiled under the sheets!
While Qin Shiyao's lust surged and her mind was clouded by desire, Li Jiayu used the momentary drop of vigilance to ambush her with a long-awaited and deliberate thought-out assault. Soon, the two fought and Li Jiayu finally took the monster down with the price of his sight. However, all that mattered was that he had freed Qin Shiyao from the shackles of the demon and was never to be sullied again.
It could be said that during his previous life, a ghost blinded him...
"Li Jiayu... Li Jiayu, what are we going to do now? You... Why don't you talk? Wake up-AH!"
Li Jiayu's gnashed his teeth and Sun Weiwei panicked. When their gazes interlocked, fear spread throughout her entirety as she was seemingly stunned into place by electricity. His hatred-filled, murderous gaze was something she had never encountered. It seemed devoid of humanity, like a demon that crawled out of the pits of hell!
"Hmm... Sorry, I just recalled something unpleasant. I didn't scare you, right?"
Li Jiayu had been hailed as the Dark Summoner not solely due to his corrupted soul but also because of his bloodstained hands. The monsters which had died in his hands numbered over tens of thousands but the humans who died at his hands also numbered over tens of thousands!
Therefore, his murderous intent was frightening and if it had not been for his proficient control, the people who had stayed with him would even find it uncomfortable to breathe.
"No... I'm fine..."
Sun Weiwei's face had turned white but she intentionally pretended to be calm on the surface and asked nervously, "Now... What are we supposed to do? Li Jiayu, do you have any idea?"
"Yes, feed the giant insects and when they're full, they'll naturally retreat. However, they do not eat what us humans eat. Not pasta, not rice, not vegetables but meat and human flesh!" Li Jiayu said.
"What?!"
The students felt as though something was stuck in their throats and went into an uproar! What a joke, if there were more than a hundred insects with these gigantic bodies, how many humans would it take to sate their hunger?!
Do we really need to sacrifice hundreds of lives to satisfy them?
How was it possible?!
Pondering over this matter, the students became nervous, yet they held onto a wisp of hope. ‘I won’t die. There are over 10 thousand students in the school… If only 300 have to die, my chances of surviving would increase greatly. The one that gets eaten will definitely not be me!’

"Let me guess what's going in your heads... Hehe, one-thirtieth probability of death right? Wrong, who told you only 100 of these red beetles exist? Let me enlighten you! Next, there will be 30 Scythe Beetles, hundreds of Sulphuric Acid Worms and 200 Venomous Spiders! To satisfy their appetites and love of destruction, without half of the campus dead, it’s a nearly impossible feat!"
As his words dropped, it felt as though a boulder smashed over their heads and stunned them in their places... There would be an emergence of such a large number of insects?! The mortality rate would reach almost half the school’s population... Thinking about what was going to occur made them shake in their boots as they may likely end up between the jaws of the insects!
"Li Jiayu! I beg you, please stop scaring us... I know you must have a plan right? You're acting so calm, you definitely have a trump card! I beg you, please protect me. I don't want to die... I want to see my parents. I can give you everything. Even though I have a boyfriend, I am still a virgin. I can warm your bed!"
One of the female classmates broke down and hugged Li Jiayu's arms, rubbing her breasts continuously against him.
"Save or not to save... I can only guarantee my survival under the onslaught of bugs and as for the others, I can only lend a helping hand occasionally. However, I won't be able to protect all of you, so I'll apologize in advance... Also, I do not like women who use their bodies as tools. The most important point is that you soiled yourself and even though I don't mind filth, I'm not in the mood either..."
Li Jiayu refused the student's offer of 'kindness'. He was not someone who had sex on his mind all day and was definitely not a flower knight[1]. If he possessed the strength from when he had been a Dark Summoner, he would not mind saving them. However, right now, he was merely a student that was no different from the others.
What's more... The women who had relations with him all possessed otherworldly qualities, so in regards to ordinary women, he was not interested in the least.
"Ah! The insects have rushed into the school building!" Suddenly, the classroom next door shrieked. Hearing that, the classmates felt their blood run cold as they saw giant insects swarming towards the building like a black sea, bursting in with their overwhelming numbers toward the stairs!"

If panic was what had previously overcome the students, then it was fear that now reigned over their hearts. They shook in their boots and watched with chattering teeth as the crimson beetles rushed up the stairway.
In only a few moments, resounding knocks began to echo throughout the entire first storey and the heavy impacts felt like merciless hammering on their hearts.
"They.. They must've reached the first door!"
"The students on the first floor must've locked themselves behind the doors but..."
"The prowess of the insects is terrifying! How could the monsters be obstructed by a mere door?!"
"Shit! My girlfriend's classroom is located on the first storey! Who is going to save her?"
Students started kneeling over powerlessly as though they were puppets with severed strings...
"Let’s lock our doors as well! It'll resist for some time, at least. Let’s block the entrance with the desks and chairs as well! We're on the sixth storey, so the bugs would definitely be less of a threat here!"
Sun Weiwei had not been elected the Class President for nothing. She handed out commands but the students did not take any immediate actions. They simply stared toward Li Jiayu as if he was apparently someone more reliable.
"Locking is unnecessary. Just arrange the desks and form a fan-shaped array to obstruct the enemies... I will slaughter every beetle that enters through the door..."
Li Jiayu remained motionless like an unmovable mountain. His long raven-black hair danced wildly in the wind and his eyes were piercingly cold.
Sun Weiwei watched Li Jiayu. Her eyes flickered with an oddity as Li Jiayu gave her the feeling he was a completely different person. Although the Li Jiayu of the past had exquisite features, his kind and meek personality had made others look upon him as a feminine sissy. However, the way he acted now formed a stark contrast. He was decisive, domineering and exuded an irresistible charm.
"Ha?! No way! That is such a terrible idea!"
Chen Zhongliang, who was on bad terms with Li Jiayu, bounced out of the crowd and vehemently objected, "You think you're a war god? There are at least a hundred of those monsters below! We're separated by two main buildings, so there should at least be fifty insects that'll head our way! FIFTY! That's the equivalent of fifty mini tanks! The chances of us dealing with one of them are closer to impossible and you want to slaughter every last one that enters that doorway? Even if you're invulnerable, you'll also be left half dead!"
The students who heard his rebuke could not help but hesitate. Sure, Li Jiayu's prophecies were incredible but he was a student after all. His personality and mannerisms were known to all - he was merely a weakling and his strength could not be credited!
As they were deep in thought, thunderous bangs came from the first floor!
The iron gate of a particular classroom had apparently been mowed down by the onslaught of insects!
Shortly thereafter, waves and waves of desolate cries came from both males and females. The shrill screams that were laced with terror made their eardrums sting!
Soon, shrill screams of terror-stricken girls could be heard!
"Don't eat me! Please don't eat me!"
"This must be an illusion... Definitely an illusion!... ARGH!"
"Yang Zhisheng! You bastard, I.. AHHHHH MY LEG!!!!"
"Who is going to save us?! I don't want to die so young!"
Throughout the entire school building, from the first storey to the thirteenth, everyone turned paled with the exception of Li Jiayu. Although they were not witnesses to the massacre, the screams alone made them shudder in fear.
Worse of all... The insects had completely surrounded and barricaded them in. Escape was simply a wishful thought!
On the second and third stories, several female students had preferred to escape by leaping from windows. Unfortunately, the fall inevitably led them to their demise, shattering their limbs and rendering them immobile on the ground!
Those who witnessed the gruesome outcome of the injured students who had leapt off the building decided not to follow, as two beetles emerged soon after, chewing them to their deaths!
The situation was extremely dire as everything on the first floor had been swept clean by the insects. The unlucky students situated on the first story had undoubtedly been massacred!
Despite being separated by 5 whole stories, the rich scent of blood still managed to find its way towards Li Jiayu's classroom.
"I am definitely not a god of war but my fighting capabilities exceed most of yours. I have a total grasp over the insect's weaknesses and as long as I play my cards right, I still stand a chance."
Li Jiayu was at least seventy percent confident due to his vast amount of experiences. His path was literally intertwined with these wretched insects and he was already numbed to their existence... Even if he did not possess the capabilities of his past life, his fighting senses were still just as sharp and his combat prowess could even rival the ace forces of top countries.
"Okay, Chen Zhongliang, just stop it... I'll trust Li Jiayu." Sun Weiwei spoke.
"Based on what?! He is only bluffing his way through. You can't expect us to head into hell with him! He is someone who couldn't even complete a 1-kilometer run! How do I trust someone like that? Rather than placing your trust in him, believe me! I am the strongest in the class, so that axe should be given to me! Hurry and give it up!" Chen Zhongliang hollered.
Sun Weiwei stood in between Li Jiayu and Chen Zhongliang, separating the two while glaring at the latter, "Chen Zhongliang, please have some self-respect!"
"You! Hmph! **#! I, laozi [1], have long since seen you as an eyesore! No wonder you cheapened yourself and became willing to be someone's mistress, you slut! Li Jiayu is only a little handsome, yet you're already guarding him so tightly! Did you take a fancy to him? You want him to protect you and then sleep with you?!"
"Chen Zhongliang, shut your mouth! I, Sun Weiwei, am not a loose woman! No wonder you acted like a crazed man who swallowed gunpowder. It’s because you're jealous of Li Jiayu, angry that he stole your limelight! Something is wrong with you! I chose to trust Li Jiayu and you take it out on him! Are you even a man?!" Sun Weiwei was thoroughly angered.
"Chen Zhongliang, get out... This classroom does not welcome you. You are lucky that I'm in a good mood... Otherwise, you'd be the first one to taste this axe!"
Li Jiayu merely eyed Chen Zhongliang but within an instant, the latter felt as though he'd been stabbed by countless swords. His hair stood on their ends and he decided to not go against Li Jiayu’s words.
Casting a cursory glance to the surrounding classmates, he noticed they favored Li Jiayu as well. Hence, he backed away while leaving a hateful remark. "Fine! I'll go. Is that fine?! I'll hide on the 13th story while you can all die on the 6th story, hmph!"
After Chen Zhongliang’s departure, Li Jiayu's ears perked up as he looked out the windows.
"What's wrong?" Zhou Jiamin enquired.
"Scythe Beetles! They've arrived..."
"What?! The Scythe Beetles that will decapitate me? Those Scythe Beetles?!" Zhou Jiamin began to wet herself again.
"Yes but they shall be my first sacrifice!"
A cold sneer emerged on Li Jiayu's face. Licking his chapped lips, he gripped his fire axe tightly. "Additionally, it shall also become my first life-preservation tool in the apocalypse!"
As they listened to the encroaching buzzing 'meng meng ' sounds, a cluster of unknown black creatures loomed in the horizon and approached the building rapidly. In less than two seconds, they entered the students’ lines of sight!
There were black-colored beetles. Every one of them was the size of an office chair and had countless razor blades protruding from their carapaces. The most horrifying part of these monsters was their mouth which measured one meter long and looked just like two terrifying sickles, used solely for harvesting lives!
Scythe Beetles!
Harvesters of human flesh!

[1] Laozi - Your father, I. It’s the pinyin for the actual word, it was troublesome and does not translate well over so I just bought it over instead :D Pinyin FTW!
Laozi is laozi, laozi is your laozi’s laozi to my laozi’s laozi, period.

8 181YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!
