They kept sitting in the middle of the cafeteria enveloped in their thoughts. An awkward silence prevailed making both of them uncomfortable. They looked at each other and faked a smile. Shivang decides to strike a conversation this time to make the thick atmosphere light.
"Now a day's aren't you so much into predicting my future. Don't tell me that you decided to left your degree to be an astrologer. Not that I mind as I got someone to advise me in free but Subh your prediction only comes true in my case that too not very often. Trust me this isn't a very profitable business." Shivang acted like thinking trying to light up the tense atmosphere and most important his friend's mood.
"Haha, very funny vairagi. What was that a joke because I am not able to laugh."
"But buddy you are smiling and that too is a genuine one so I can say that my hard work paid well."Sulabh rolled his eyes at shivang's response.
"I am smiling to keep your heart and trust me only I can laugh at your bad jokes."
"Not that I have to make anyone else laugh because No one around me remains forever grumpy".
"What is this tease Sulabh day you are celebrating. Anyway, what you ate in the breakfast today because vairagi is cracking a joke instead of a philosophical lecture surprising." This was Shivang's turn to roll his eyes.
"Okk fine our classes are over for today so let's head back home I am hungry and I have an important meeting in the evening."Sulabh got up patting Shivang's back gesturing him to come.
The journey towards their home is quiet as both friends are busy in their thoughts. Meanwhile, Subhra's parents noticed her daughter's foul mood since she arrived from college. She is the apple of their eyes and they can't see her sad. They knew the basic reason that either Sulabh or Shivang only one of two would be the reason for her foul mood.

Her parents are completely aware of her affection towards Shivang and his undecipherable emotion towards Sulabh is her prime concern. Subhra's parents are not very fond of Shivang though they don't have any issues with him specifically his background is their prime concern. Since childhood they raised her daughter like a princess; she got all kinds of facilities and luxuries and they want it to remain the same. They want her to get everything she desired so they want to wed her off with someone like Sulabh. At the same time, they don't want to force her into anything without her will. Plus the kind of aura Shivang possesses is unearthly. Being ardent Shiva and Shakti followers they are sure that he is blessed so they never actually disliked him.
"What happened today? Again Sulabh said something to Shivang and you fought with him for this." Her mother tried to strike a conversation sitting beside her.
"Leave him I don't want to talk about both. Let them do whatever they want to do. I will not care anymore." She blabbered irritated.
"You won't care and what makes you think so? Always remember emotions are like your TV channels that if you don't like the one you will change the channel. If it is so easy to stop caring about the person half of the relations of the world don't sustain."
"Mom, don't underestimate me this time I don't care. Let them go to hell."
Her mother smiled at her childish anger. Before she continues this conversation a message popped on Subhra's phone screen and she frowned then smiled after reading it.
"Shivang messaged me he wants to meet me on Ganga ghat. He must have realized his mistake till now and wanted to apologize. I must get ready as I don't want to get late and make him wait for me alone." She jumped from the sofa and ran towards her room.

Snippet: “Boss…I’m really sleepy….” My eyelids were starting to feel heavy. After all, it was past 3am. Most normal people would be asleep by now. “From now on, don’t call me boss. During this 24 hours date, we are not in a boss subordinate type of relationship.” Suyang whispered in my ears. “If you’re tired, then take a nap. I’ll wake you up when the sunrise begins.” Then, he tightened his grip and I felt so much warmer in his embrace. “Let me sing you a lullaby.” Suyang suddenly suggested. “Lullaby? Why lullaby…?” “Isn’t it common for couples to sing to each other? I read it online.” Suyang explained. Before I gave him consent, he began to sing, “Pig…..your nose has two holes…” I smacked Suyang, “What type of lullaby is this?” “Stop interrupting. I purposely chose this song for you. The Hazards of Skinny Dipping
This isn't a deep book about first loves or self-discovery. If you want a book like that, I'd be happy to recommend one, but I don't have that kind of story to tell. Instead my story is about rash decisions and finding out that your dream guy is bad in bed. It's the story of when I finally went skinny dipping, and how my life was never the same again. Oh, and it's also the story of my freshman year of college and realizing Mr. Right might have been there all along.
