Sonic was here in tails lab in there home waiting for shadow to arrive as they agreed that he will be present in the test so nothing went wrong 'so how long is he going to be i'm borad of waiting' sonic said to tail while they both was getting the room ready to use 'he said he will be here when he gets here you should know what he like but now sonic' sonic just sighed and finish off the area were he would be testing when suddenly a bright light appeared behind them.
it was shadow with a chaos emraled in his hand the green one with a not so happy to be here look
'hi shads how you doing'shadow tossed the emraled at sonic and sonic grab it just in time before it went on the floor 'can we just get this going i have things to do' tail just nodded and look at sonic to go in the room and not say anymore to shadow sonic did agree to what tails ask earlyer to only say hi and when there finish to just say thank and give the emraled back after as this was the condition shadow has lay down in exchange for his help and borrowing the emerald.
sonic was in the room and just ask just in case he got it wrong how do i do it again 'hmf can't you remember faker' shadow said in his usual bad mood and with that sonic just closed his eyes and try to think how he did it but only remembered that he just said the words chaos control so he was just going to try that but before he did tail wanted to say some info to sonic 'remember if you teleport somewhere you don't know just use the communicator and will come and get you also there a tracker just in case alright' sonic nodded and finialy said the words out loud in the testing room as soon as tails and shadow was at the safe distance

the bright light appeared were sonic ones stood but immediately tail and shadow did not see it as the normal light that appears when shadow do it but instead it was a shining blood red light that blinded them they covered there eyes as it was so blinding it was seen through the whole lab.
when they manage to look back they saw an empty room with only a chaos emerald that sonic was using rolling on the floor
tail was quick to go on his computer to check were sonic could be but there was no trace tails turn straight to shadow with a panic look on his face 'he no where'
shadow look back at the emerald and try to grab it only to received a nasty shook and was thrown against the wall '
