《Sakuras In Ice (A Bleach Fan fiction)》18: The Purple Butterfly

Morning came and Yuki decided to run to Urahara's shop first thing in the morning to tell him of her current dilemma. The night she spent in the Kurosaki household turned out well. She met Ichigo's other sister, Yuzu, but said sister doesn't seem to see her. She also met Ichigo's Dad through a display of awesome flying kicks and battle stances with Ichigo. Yuki noticed that the Kurosaki head doesn't pay mind to her even though he can see her. Yuki decided to keep it to herself and slept in Karin's room.
Right now, Yuki is busy eating breakfast as Yuroichi combs her monstrous mane. Yuki just so happens to sneak out of the Kurosaki household upon waking up before anyone else causing her to miss breakfast.
"So you're telling us that you lost Muracho yesterday while looking for that Pass of yours?" Kisuke asked and Yuki nodded
"Where did you lose them?" He added and Yuki shrugged
"Knowing Muracho, Ki-san. I'm sure they're not in the place I lost them anymore." Yuki paused to drink
"But Chigo-nii told me he'll help in finding them." She added
"Chigo-nii?" Yuroichi asked with a raised eyebrow
"Yep. He was the human who helped me yesterday. I also met his family and apparently he and his sister can see me in this form." Yuki said and ate the last bite of her curry
Tessai entered the room they were in and took Yuki's plate. He stayed a bit and waited again for Yuki to finish drinking her milk.
Once done, Yuki felt tugging on her hair and found out Yuroichi putting her hair in a high ponytail. She faced her mother figure when she finished and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Yuroichi reciprocated via the nose.

"When do you plan on looking for Muracho?" Kisuke asked Yuki
Yuki looked at him and touched her chin as if thinking.
"I just need to know where I last had them and I think I can follow their reatsu from there." Yuki said and snuggled in Yuroichi
"I think I lost them at Chigo-nii's school. I think I need to start there." Yuki said
"Well if there's where you want let's go there." In a blink of an eye Yuroichi transformed to her black cat form
"It will be easier to roam around the city in this form. We'll stick to this." Yuroichi said as she licks her paws
Yuki sighed then transformed to her kitten form. This time, the butterfly mark on her nape is gone and a snowflake mark is seen under her left eye. She walked towards Yuroichi and the black cat began licking her head as what a mother cat would do to her kittens. Kisuke carried the two of them and walked towards the shop's exit.
"Be careful you two. Hollows are scattered everywhere in the city." He warned as he let them go
"Don't underestimate us, Kisuke. You wound me." Yuroichi said with a smirk
Yuki replied with a small meow for she can't speak yet in her cat form unlike her mother figure. Kisuke just gave a hearty laugh and the two cats then began to sprint away to start looking for the missing zanpakuto.

"So kitten? Feel something yet?" Yuroichi asked as they sat atop a tall building.
They're back to their original forms as Yuki sat at the edge with her feet dangling from the building. Her eyes are closed with sakura petals and snowflakes surrounding her figure. The wind blowing in her hair helped her concentrate in looking for her missing friend.

She focused her reatsu on finding Muracho by following the faint trail her zanpakuto left from the school. She opened her eyes when she felt a large concentration of reatsu in an alley way 7 blocks away from them.
"Found them?" Yuroichi asked with her arms crossed
"Not sure, Hahaue. But I feel a large mass of reatsu. 7 blocks from here." Yuki said and the both of them immediately used flash step
When they arrived at the alley in there cat form, a heap of almost dying Hollows and Spirits are found in the alley. They're still breathing but you can see their struggle to live and some wants to die again. Yuki approached one spirit and the spirit immediately turned to dust. The other creatures in the alley slowly turned to dust too until all of them were gone.
"This is strange. I've never seen anything like this happened before." Yuroichi said and sat down on the pavement
Yuki kept her eyes on the lump of dust on the floor and transformed back to her human form. She knelt and scoped the dust in her hands. But she immediately dropped the dust after deciphering the reatsu left within the remains.
"She's here?" Yuki said to herself in worry
She felt a very familiar surge of both familiarity and fear in her body. The hairs in her body stood up and her heart sped up both in nervousness and happiness.
"Something wrong?" Yuroichi said now back in her human form
"Samui. She's here. And not in a good mood." Yuki said and stood up
Yuroichi's eyes widen at what she heard. She knew Samui was bad news according to what Yuki told her once. Because she can suck the life out of anything she touches and convert their remains to ashes.
"So what do you wanna do? Track her?" Yuroichi asked
"No. Not her, but the other one. If Samui is here, then he's here too. Only he can face Samui." Yuki said with all seriousness
Yuki stood from her crouching position and whispered.
"Cold Mist." She said and blew in the air. Cold air went out of her mouth and immediately vanished.
"We can track him using my technique. Now all we have to do is wait." Yuki told her Hahaue
Yuriochi nodded her head and both of them flashed step to the building they formerly were to wait. Unknown to them, a pair of black eyes are watching them wearing a scowl of distaste.
"I'm not letting some girl rob me of my freedom." It said with a voice full of coldness before disappearing in a flurry of purple butterflies

Author's note: This is the first story I'm writting in a coherent manner (I have written a lot of DnD background stories in the past), so bear with me if I make boring or overdescriptive bits: I'll regularly come back to rewrite whichever parts feel unpolished, especially grammatical errors. I would also appreciate any corrections or suggestions.
