Shawn's POV
"Jay, this is crazy." Angel said as I showed her around Barclay's.
I took her in the locker room, she checked the Nets floor, the VIP booths, and everything else.
"Jay, I don't know what to say." She said.
"You like it?" I asked.
"Yes! This is a freaking arena that you made happen. It's crazy that I know you." She said laughing.
"So where you wanna go now?" I asked.
"Can we go to Juniors?" She asked.
"Yeah, let's go." I said.
"For real?" She said surprised.
"Yeah, I got security." I said.
She smiled and went to go get in the car. We drove to Juniors and this girl talked the whole time but I didn't even care. I barely heard her for two years so she can talk all she wants. We got a table in the back. This girl has never been fazed by fans but I guess when you grow up with Destiny's Child it's nothing. After we ordered drinks I wanted to talk to her.
"So I hear you going on tour." I said.
She smirked.
"Yeah, I heard you and Justin going on tour too." She said.
"Yeah. A couple stadiums." I said.
"A couple stadiums." She mocked. "You say that like its not a big deal, that's a really big deal."
"Yeah I know." I said. "So you been to see anybody?"
"Besides Leon, no." She said. "I'm not gonna go looking for nobody either."
"Okay, I believe you." I said.
"Do y'all really think I'll mess what I got going right now?" She said.
"No I'm just making sure." I said.
"I know I don't have much credit but y'all gotta trust me." She said.

We ate lunch and talked about some other stuff. When we were leaving I saw Leon walking up. I looked at Angel.
"I'm going with Leon." She said.
"Your mom know?" I asked.
"Yeah." She said.
I nodded and hugged her.
"Don't let nothing happen to her." I said to Leon.
"I got you Jay." He said.
I got in the car and went home but not without getting my slice of cheesecake and Bey's. When I got home Bey and Blue were in the living room. I put the cheesecake in the fridge and joined them on the couch. I picked up Blue.
"How was it?" Bey asked.
"She liked it." I said. "Then we went to Juniors for some lunch."
"What y'all talk about?" She asked.
"You nosy." I said laughing.
"So you gonna tell me?" She asked.
"No, what we talk about is what we talk about." I said. "But it was nothing important."
She nodded and snuggled against me as I held Blue.
Angel's POV
"It feels so good to be back in the city." I said.
"I know." Leon said. "I'm happy you home."
We were walking around the neighborhood. Well it's not really a neighborhood but walking around Manhattan. I used to rip and run these streets. I was stupid then though. My parents got a divorce and I was not feeling it at all. I didn't really understand what was going on fully but when I got older everything started to make sense but by then I was already sitting in a cell.
"Aye yo, just keep walking." Leon said.
"What? Why?" I asked and I looked back.
Shit!
"Aye! Angel!" I heard as he ran up to me.
He looked me up and down and looked at Leon.
"Why you didn't hit me up when you got out?" He asked.
"Really Amir?" I asked.
"Yeah." He said.
"Leon, lets go." I said.
"Wait, I owe you. You didn't open your mouth." He said.
"I'm not a snitch but bye." I said.
"What's he talking about?" Leon asked.
"Nothing, lets go." I said.
"Oh she didn't tell you she didn't rob that store?" Amir said.
"Shut up Amir, Leon lets go." I said dragging him.

Orin wants nothing more than to reconnect with his family and settle down in the city he loves, but fate is fickle and has another destiny in mind for the swordsman. Well, if nothing else, I'm sure it will be an adventure. This is one of the ideas I've been working on for a while and wanted to see how far I can go with it. Era Of The Kobold
Era of the Kobold Returning July Third! Hi there! Thought I forgot about this series, didn't you? In all seriousness, I am sorry for not posting in such a long time. I've been really busy with other things, mainly my education. However, once July hits and I get the time needed to write, I'll be continuing EotK where we left off. It'll be the regular one chapter a week at least, though I'll try to post more frequently for that month. Hopefully you all have been doing well! I'll see you in July. Synopsis: All he wanted was to spend his life gaming. Samuel was an absolute nerd when it came to video games, RPGs especially. He'd play them all day, rarely leaving his house, or even his room for that matter. His peaceful days were sadly ended before he even finished college, however. Despite his expectations, he finds himself reincarnated in a new world as a Kobold. He must now live a hard life as a weak creature that tends to die young and is seen as a monster. How will he manage in this new life and what will he do with it? The rate of publishing will slow down, as I focus on my education.
