Chapter Twenty One- Thunder Storm
I felt something warm and soft on my cheek. "Cassie..."
"What?" I mumbled annoyed.
"Time to wake up were home" Tom said.
I opened my eyes slowly to find his face a lot closer than I expected.
"Oh" I breathed. He chuckled and pulled me out of the car to my feet. "Thanks" I mumbled.
He seemed a little- I don't know how to put it- shaky as he stared down at me.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
He shook his head no.
I pulled a half smile "This is your idea remember"
He rest his forehead on mine and sighed "I know" then his lips captured mine. It instantly felt different from the other kisses; he put so much passion into it as he wrapped me up in his arms. He had me desperately gasping for air by the time he broke apart.
"You're going to kill me" I said as I felt my heart return to a human beat.
"I wouldn't dare" he said as he pecked my nose causing me to giggle, he smiled as he opened the door for me.
"There you are!" Emma said running up to me. "I thought you guys drived off a cliff or something!"
"Have you been reading mystery's lately Em?" I asked crossing my arms suspiciously.
"That's besides the point" she mumbled glaring at the floor.
"Hey Rupert!" I smiled noticing he was standing by Dan holding a beer.
"What I don't get a hug?" he said putting on a puppy pout.
I walked over to him and gave him a hug. He wrapped one arm around my waist and put the beer to his mouth.
I rolled my eyes "Thanks I feel so special, I'm going to bed"
"Its ten thirty and you slept all day how are you tired?" Dan asked.
"Its true she was asleep the whole way here" Tom said.
"Yeah whatever night" I said giving a small wave and left the room.
The week was very hard. Hard to concentrate and hard to keep or little secret under wraps. Like Thursday when Tom almost kissed me in front of everyone...
-Flash back-
He leaned in closer unaware of the local bystanders and Timber's Barking (he was surprisingly territorial over me). My eyes were wide and I had to think quick, so I slapped him. Not too hard but hard enough to make a snapping sound when my hand collided with his cheek. He pulled back immediately coming back to reality. "What the hell is wrong with you Thomas Andrew Felton? Ugh!" I said storming off into the next room holding back a giggle.
-End mini flash back-
Looking back on it now made me laugh. That, that was fun. He on the other hand would glare at me and start to rub his cheek like it was still hurting. And He had to continuously make up excuses all the time for holding my hand, which was quite often. Honestly I don't get how any of them haven't figured it out yet.
Today is Sunday and Emma, Bonnie, Rupert, James, and Oliver are coming over. We are going to watch The Order of the Phoenix (after I pleaded to watch that movie...they all caved) and they're going to spend the night, which is going to be fun.

I walked down stairs and saw Bonnie in the entry way with Emma. I swear Emma is over here all the time you'd think she'd live here.
"Cassie!" Bonnie cried running up to me and almost knocking me over with her hug.
"Hey Bonnie long time no see, you don't even text me anymore!"
She pulled back and bit her lip. "Sorry"
I rolled my eyes and hugged her again.
"Where are the guys?" I asked Emma, she had been here all day.
"Out back grilling" Emma answered.
"Kay" I said heading towards the back.
When I opened the door I was tackled to the ground and heard two voices in unison shout "Cassie!"
I glared at the two twins.
"How are you?" James, I think, asked at the same time Oliver, I think, asked "What have you been up to?"
"Well right now I'm being squished by two red heads, that are making it hard for my lungs to get oxygen!"
"Oh" the both said "sorry"
They both rolled off of me and I stood up walking the rest of the way to the grill. "Whatcha cooking?" I asked Tom who was sitting in one of the lawn chairs with his feet up drinking a beer.
"Meat" he simply stated.
"Why did I even ask?" I sighed, he shrugged indifferently.
"Beer!" Dan and Rupert sang as they carried a huge cooler filled with Beer bottles.
I rolled my eyes "Great alcohol" I said sarcastically.
"You want one Cassie it's delicious" Dan said in a hypnotizing sense waving a beer in front of my face. I backed away. He popped the top and waved it in front of my face again "come on just a taste?" he said. I smelt the beer which quickly reminded me of Will. I coughed having a flashback...
-Flash back-
"Cassie come on just one round" a drunken' Will slurred as he pulled me closer, trying to grope me. I squirmed in his grasp. "No Will cut it out" I said trying to get away from his horrid breath, finally managing. He looked offended and pushed me hard so I fell on my back, hurting the bruise I already had. "You're a waste of life, go die in a hole like that mum of yours" he said slamming the door shut.
-End Flash back-
I remember crying the entire night. I coughed some more for now Rupert had joined Dan.
"Guys cut it out" Tom said pushing them away from me and grabbing my arms. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah" I said a little slow "I'm just going to go back inside" I pulled away from him and went in the house.
We were getting ready to watch the movie. Dan had turned out the lights and pushed play sitting in a chair.
"I can't believe we are watching this I'm barely in it!" Tom complained. I hit his chest and told him to 'shush' getting into total Harry Potter mode. I was sitting in between Tom and Emma on the couch.
This was amazing actually watching a Harry Potter film with the actors, it was a dream.
Tom laced his fingers with mine, chuckling.
The movie was almost over Bellatrixs had just shouted "Avada Kedevra" at Sirius. I was balling at this point as he faded away.

I got up off the couch, still crying and walked over to Dan with my arms opened. He started at me weirdly and opened his arms hesitantly.
Emma sighed "She won't cry at the Notebook" she had tried to get me to watch it earlier this week. I wasn't much of a fan of it. I mean it was good and all but too romantic. If I'm going to watch romance it's going to be a romantic comedy or at least Twilight "but she'll cry for Dan!"
"Shut up" I sniffled, sitting on Dan's lap "he just lost the only family he had" I cried. She rolled her eyes.
"What about the Dursley's" Tom asked laughing.
I buried my head in Dan's chest more and mumbled "They don't count"
"At least this is about over" Bonnie sighed.
"And then" James started.
"Its party time" Oliver finished.
"There isn't a party you nit wits!" Rupert said kicking their backs, because he sat next to Bonnie with them two sitting in front of him.
"Oh how can you stand this... this torture?!" I said.
"It's a movie Cas" Emma said
"No it's a book" I told her.
"Ooooohhh" the twins commented "burn"
She glared at me.
We hung out and talked for awhile after the movie finished and I had stopped crying. It was a very emotional movie for me. Don't judge. I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket as James and Oliver were telling a story.
It was from Tom I looked over to him suspiciously. He just smirked. I flipped it open and it said 'I love you'. I laughed out loud.
"You think it's funny that are Grandmother Died because of a bird?!" James yelled at me.
Uh.oh. what do I do now? Stupid Tom Felton.
"It actually is a funny story James, funny to look at too her running all over the place with a huge hawk right on her tail literally snipping at her butt" Oliver said sparing me.
They started talking again. I looked over to Tom who was trying to hold back a laugh. I glared and texted back 'I will get you back for this'
Not a moment later I got a reply saying 'you would punish your boyfriend for saying that he loves you romantically?' I looked over at him and he was pouting, giving me puppy eyes.
'Fine, I love you too' I replied. His face smirked with satisfaction.
We all went to bed after that. Rupert, Bonnie, James, and Oliver stayed in the many multiple guest rooms that surrounded the house.
After I had put my pajamas on I got on my lap top and checked my email. There was one message from Taylor, two from Danny and one from Tommyboy. I opened that one first.
'Get on stream- Tommyboy' it said not even sent five minutes ago.
I obeyed logging on to stream to have almost immediately a message pop up saying-
CASSIE Has now joined the conversation.
TOMMYBOY: Hey baby got my message I see.
CASSIE: Yeah I did.
TOMMYBOY: So what do you want to do tomorrow?
CASSIE: Idk. Really don't care actually.
TOMMYBOY: Well that narrows it down.
CASSIE: Sorry for the inconvenience. I was thinking of going to see Danny and Taylor actually.
TOMMYBOY: but that leaves me alone without you :( how will I live?
CASSIE: I think you will survive.
TOMMYBOY: I'm being serious Cas.
CASSIE: It's only for a couple of hours.
TOMMYBOY: fine...
I heard it start to rain outside...great.
TOMMYBOY: I'll just do something with the guys, maybe we will go out to eat or something.
CASSIE: See your life doesn't revolve around me :)
TOMMYBOY: I would roll my eyes but you can't see them.
A quick flash of light illuminated the room, followed by the crack of thunder. I squeaked starting to hyperventilate. I ran to my door making sure no one was in the hallways and sprinted to Tom's door, opening it to find him sitting on his bed shirtless with his computer in front of him. I didn't care though I jumped at another sound of thunder and quickly ran to him, jumping on the bed. He looked concerned as he opened his arms and I flung myself into his embrace silent tears running down my cheeks I started to shake.
"Hey hey hey" He said soothingly placing his lap top on his night stand I felt Timber's head on my thigh, his tongue slowly licking it as he started to whine. "What's wrong?"
"The" another Thunder shook the earth I squeaked "storm" I managed to choke out.
His arms tightened "You don't like the thunder" he stated. I shook my head 'no'. Even though the smell of peppermint was filling my nostrils with every breath I took, I still was scared.
Every time the lighting flashed I would see a quick image of blood and hug Tom tighter.
He eventually layed us both down and held me close to his body kissing my head "Try to go to sleep, I'm right here nothing is going to happen" I nodded closing my eyes waiting for sleep to overcome me.
I woke up to a bright light and Tom smiling at me brushing the hair out of my eyes. "Morning beautiful"
I smiled rubbing my eyes; I could feel that they were a little puffy. "Morning" I smiled in return. Then the door opened.
"WAKE UP TOM-" Rupert's yell was cut short as he caught sight of us and started to scream. Timber barked as Tom quickly leaped over me and wrapped his hand around Rupert's mouth. And kicked his door shut behind him.
Rupert's eyes were wide and he was mumbling in disbelief. Tom dragged him to the bed as I sat up. He released his hold on Rupert and whisper shouted "Would you shut the hell up already?!"
"You" Rupert pointed at him "and you" he pointed at me. I nodded "Yes but you have to keep quiet about it"
"Huh?"
"Where trying to keep it a secret" Tom said.
"A secret for how long?" he said his eyes were so wide, I was afraid that he was about to faint.
"A week" Tom answered.
Rupert's eyes bulged more "And you weren't going to tell us?!"
"Think about how they would react" Tom said seriously.
Rupert took that into consideration.
"You have to promise us that you won't tell anyone" Tom said. He looked a little scary.
Rupert looked at me "Swear to it" was all I could think of to say.
He sighed still in disbelief "I promise"

The Court of Souls?
Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it, or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur) ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— What do we talk about tonight? ~“How about a story?”~ Fine by me. Which story? Hopefully a good one. ~“There was once a lonely child in a world filled with myths, gods and demons. Only power counted there and the weak were worse than cattle. A world where survival of the fittest ruled.”~ Was it strong then? ~“No, but the child had a power. One that made him stand between light and darkness. Nothing could escape him, so he was shunned by his people.”~ What did he do? Did he fight his fate? Did he hide his power? What was it? ~“Oh, he fought. He fought a lot. And no thing could escape his power. It was something that everyone had to live with.”~ So he became a hero and changed the world? ~“…”~ Tell me. ~“Nooo, that's not how the story goes. This isn't a story of a noble man, doing good amidst a sea of monsters. This is a story of a demon who was... kinder than the rest.”~ A kind demon? How boring. ~“I think it would be better if I tell the story, so you can judge for yourself.”~ So tell the story!
