"(Y/n), wake the hell up! It's already 11:00!" Lucy shouted.
You just groaned and turned to the other side. Kaia had called the guild girls to help you get ready for the big day, but it turns out that'll be the least of their worries.
"Hey Erza..." You muttered. "when you married Jellal, did you have to wake up so early?"
"No, because it's not early!" Erza yanked the blankets off you.
"It's nearly lunch, (y/n)!" Kaia yelled.
"Hey, I'm cold." you took back your blankets.
The girls sighed.
"Oh boy." Lucy face palmed.
"Gajeel always knows how to wake her up. To bad we can't call him. he can't see (y/n) until she walks the isle." Erza pointed out.
"Lucky for you I know how to wake her up." Kaia smirked and took a piece if the bacon she prepared.
"(Y/n)..." Kaia waved the bacon in front of your face "I made bacon."
You jumped up "What? Where?" You looked around.
The girls sweatdropped.
"Practically magic." Erza said.
"Was that some kind of sick prank?" Lucy shouted.
"Nope, just her senses." Kaia explained.
You stumbled your way to the counter and sat on a stool.
"My house looks different" you stated.
"That's because Erza and Lucy cleaned up your house while you were sleeping this morning."
"Ohh," you sighed. "that was nice of them." you ate your breakfast and took a shower. When you finished changing into a tank top and shorts, Erza and Lucy came in with makeup bags.
"Ugh." you gawked. "just because every girl wears makeup on a special occasion doesn't mean I have to." you got up and attempted to leave the room but Lucy pushed you back into the chair.

"Now now, this isn't just any special occasion" Lucy said. "You're getting married."
"Plus! Gajeel said my skin is like porcelain! Makeup won't do anything!" You exclaimed.
"Don't get to feisty. I'll mess up." Erza said.
You just sat back and accepted your fate. You may hate makeup, but it was just for today. After your makeup was done, you had to do your hair.
"Now (y/n). I know the veil is a traditional thing but you don't necessarily have to wear it." Erza explained. "do you want to wear it?"
You thought this through. Erza had a point. It was tradition but the veil annoyed you a lot and you didn't know if you could handle endless hours with it over your face.
"Yea. I'll wear it." you answered.
"Ok then." Erza started to do your hair.
"Hey, who's gonna walk me down the isle?" You asked. "I mean, Makarov walked you but Gildarts suspects that I'm his niece." you said.
"Well I believe that Gildarts did ask Makarov if he could walk you down." Lucy explained. "so most likely, Gildarts."
"Oh, yay." you cheered. Gildarts was sort of like a second father to you.
After a long time, it was nearly time for the wedding.
"Ta da." Kaia said in a sing song voice.
You looked in the mirror and doubted that it was you that you were looking at. Erza and Lucy had left and made sure Gajeel was there. The location you had chosen was gorgeous. It was on a cliff the overlooked the sea, near a banquet hall.
Happy was supposed to give the all clear with Gildarts. Very well planned indeed. Happy knocked on the window and gave the all clear to Kaia. Gildarts came in a bit later in a tux.

"I would've never expected for you to stick around for so long." you teased.
"Honestly, before Gajeel proposed I was going to head out for another job but then I had second thoughts." Gildarts gave a cheeky smile and rubbed the back of his neck.
"By the way, you look...wow!" Gildarts complemented.
"Thanks." you smiled. Cana then bursted through the door.
"You coming or what?!" She laughed.
You lifted up your dress and ran towards the door.
"Hell yea!" You laughed.
"Hey! Wait up!" Gildarts and Kaia shouted.
-
"She's coming!" Cana yelled, running to her spot in the bridesmaids lineup.
Lucy woke up Crux, who was going to say the vows, and everyone got ready. Makarov went up to Gajeel.
"Good luck, my boy." Makarov said.
Gildarts walked you down the isle. Gajeel had a huge blush in his face. You arrived next to Gajeel and Gildarts stood beside the best mans. You turned to face Gajeel, who's face had turned into a tomato. You met up with him. He lifted your veil, and stared at you in awe.
"You look gorgeous." He whispered.
"Thanks. And you look handsome, like always."
After a few vows and no objections, you both exchanged rings. After a few more vows, Cana objected.
"Can they just kiss already?" She shouted, clearly annoyed by all the blabbering she didn't understand.
"Do you, Gajeel Redfox, promise to love and protect (y/n) forever?" Crux said.
Gajeel took your hands.
"With my life." he smiled.
"Now, do you, (y/n) (l/n), promise to love and take great care of Gajeel forever?" Crux said.
"I do." You said.
"Just hurry up and make-out already!" Cana started to get restless and pulled out a booze bottle out of nowhere.
"I now announce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Were Crux's last words before he fell asleep. You wrapped your arms around Gajeel's neck and kissed him. Everyone cheered. From all of Fairy Tail, to certain mages of Lamia Scale, Mermaid Heel, and Sabertooth. They were all there. Reedus, as usual, drew this scene, hoping that one day it'll bring back wonderful memories.
But what no one knew, was that fate was soon going to take an unexpected turn.
