Y/n's POV
"Noya you're back!" I called as I saw him walking to the gym. He turned around right as I leaped for him.
My body crashed into his causing us to roll onto the ground. I rolled us over so I was on top of him. I straddles his torso, out of breath.
"Y/n! I was gonna come say hi but I guess you beat me to it," he laughed. He put his hands on my waist and moved me so he could sit up.
"I was just headed to the gym. What were you doing?" He asked smiling.
"I was going to go to study on a bench but I saw you and..." feels man. Feels were rushing back fast. "I missed you." I finished.
He looked looked right into my eyes and said, "I don't blame you!"
*sweat drops*
I sighed and got off of him. "Are you going to practice some?" I asked and helped him up. He nodded. "Wait you don't have practice today," I said.
"Yeah but I got back yesterday and I wanted to come in today," he said and we started walking to the door.
"So what are you going to do? Practice receives from the wall?" I asked and we walked into the gym.
"Well you have study hall this hour..." he trailed off. "And you're on the girls volleyball team."
"Fine," i said and we walked through the doors.
After warming up and me serving some to him, we heard some rushing outside the gym.
I walked over to the door since I was closer and opened it. A tall black haired boy and a red headed boy squirmed to be first in the door. They collapsed at my feet.

"Kageyama I was first!" The red headed boy shouted.
"That's impossible!" Kageyama replied just as loud.
"No I think redhead was first," I said and they looked up at me. The redhead sprung to his feet and bowed. He introduced himself as Hinata.
The girls volleyball and the guy's volleyball were not very close. Our captains were friends but then I only knew Noya and Tanaka since we were both second years.
I moved so they could get in and walked back to Noya.
"Hey guys why are you here?" He asked them.
"I wanna work on my serves!" Hinata said excitedly. I looked at Kageyama waiting for an answer but he just looked at the ground.
I exchanged looks with Hinata and Noya but they didn't say anything about him. Was this normal?
We shook it off and started setting, serving and receiving to each other.
"C'mon Y/n my sets aren't too complicated," Kageyama yelled at me. I was a little taken back but I shook it off. He was just frustrated..
"Dumbass," I heard Kageyama mutter.
"What!?" Noya and I said at the same time.
"You take that back! You don't talk to Y/n like that! I'll break your face!" Noya started yelling. I held him back.
"Noya stop It's fine. Kageyama is just being rude," I said and tugged his shirt harder. "Let's just get back to practicing. Hinata, Kageyama, practice your quick attacks on Noya and I."
We took our positions and we started. Serve after serve and receive after receive. We finally collapsed out of exhaustion.
I fell into Nishinoya's lap and stayed there panting. He was on his back and I was on my stomach so we made an X with our bodies.
"Ahh Y/n get off," Noya said.

"Make me," I replied and stayed.
He tried to push me off but I held onto him, so he rolled over on top of me.
I looked at him and he returned my glance. He smiled wearily.
His face was too cute. He was so perfect in every way and I couldn't help but love him. I realized how close our faces were and felt my face heat up.
He didn't notice since the gym felt hot to all of us.
Oh yeah I forgot, Kageyama and Hinata we're still here. They were getting water though. So they wouldn't see what we were doing.
I mean we weren't doing anything but what came over me was a mystery. I kissed the tip of his nose very quickly and pulled away.
His smiled turned to shock, then filled with blush. He buried his face in my shoulder. I smiled at how flustered he got.
Then realization hit me. Nishinoya doesn't like me back. What was I thinking.
"Noya I-"
I was cut off by him laughing. He unburied his face from my shoulder and smiled at me.
"Y/n do you like me?" He asked with a closed eye smile.
"I- Noya... yeah.." I reluctantly responded. His smile got somehow bigger and he blushed deeper.
"That's good because I like you too," he said and kissed my nose this time.
"Why didn't you tell me!" I asked and slapped him lightly. "You let everyone know you like Kiyoko."
"Well you're different from her Y/n," he said. "Kiyoko will always have a part of my heart but at the end of the day my heart is yours."
I smiled at his response. That could have been a disaster but he actually used his words correctly.
I kissed his lips this time. Harder and with less uncertainty. He kissed back until we started laughing into the kiss. I knew we couldn't stay serious.
"Geez get a room," Kageyama said and walked towards the gym door.
"Shut up Kageyama they're in love," Hinata said. "Oh by the way can you guys clean up the gym? Thanks!"
We watched him leave.
"We should start cleaning now Noya," I said and he got off of me. I sat up and we both stood up together.
"Let's get this done quick so we can go home," I said and went over to the supply closet.
"Hey do you want to spend the night?" Noya asked and I stopped walk cleaning.
"Is that okay?" I asked. He nodded enthusiastically. "Okay then."
He shouted in happiness and basically did a handstand on my shoulders. It scared me but he stayed on.
This boy. On my shoulders. That's my baby. He's mine.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
