she couldn't stop the pendulum inside her head.
she kept tugging at the hem of the long white sleeves she was wearing, eyes lingered on the cracked mirror on the wall as she sat on the bed. her hair was disheveled, her eyes were bloodshot. her only source of light was from the window that was chained from the outside. for weeks she hadn't seen the sun, nor the moon. hell, she doesn't even know where she is.
her whole body felt weak. she looks down at the tray of food laid down at the edge of her bed. it was new. they probably crept inside her room last night to replace the not even a bit subtracted amount of food they placed inside her room yesterday.
she closes her eyes, not seeming to like the reflection that was looking back at her from the mirror.
moments passed, and she heard a knock. she heard the clang of chains and the creaking of the metal door. it slammed shut and she could only pray for dear life.
"ah, son seungwan," she heard a husky and deep voice chuckled. she could hear his footsteps coming closer and she holds back her tears. "dear, you seemed to be not so well today, huh?"
no, not today. not only today for suffer had her as its hostage for who knows since when.
"aren't you going to eat these foods i made them prepare for you?" she wanted to push her hand onto her hollow and aching stomach but she didn't want to make him see she's in pain. "you should be thanking me. ah, i've been waiting for you to utter a thank you. i saved your life, you know? you could be in jail if i didn't threate- oops, i slipped."

another devious laughter was heard. she flinched at the booming sound of his voice that echoed inside the room. chills skittered down her spine as she felt a hand lifting up her chin. she opens her eyes, glaring at the man that stood in front of her.
he was wearing what seemed to be a sarcastic and maniacal smile. she yanks his hand away only for her hair to be pulled down by him. she scowled in pain as she tried to hold back his hand to stop him. laughter boomed once again as she winces in pain.
"strong, aren't we? is that also the reason why you killed-" he stopped and frowned, shaking his head, "ah, recalling it might down you even more."
she wanted to fight him off, but she doesn't have the strength to. she felt weak, down, desolated. could things still worsen than how it is now?
"bastard," she weakly uttered. the man chuckled, looking away and pulled her hair down even more harder. he tilted her chin higher with his other hand with gritted teeth.
"don't make me do such a thing you'll regret, seungwan," he pressed his thumb on her chin and smirked. "sleep tight."
he pushed her down, hastily walking out of the room whole tugging his neck tie and again smoothing his suit down. she was left in the brim of tears as she clenches her fist, tilting her head back as to wishing she wouldn't wake up the next day.

Somebody Has To Be The Dark Lord
Dwellin Dorr doesn't want to fix the broken world around her. She wants to break it further. A child of the gutters and the volcanic Ashlands, Dwellin is meant for greatness. Just not the kind everyone else wants. Quite the opposite, in fact. They call her the Pestilence of the Gutter Vale, blame her for the Blaze of Canarva, and rumour has it she cut down the Blightlord himself on the Roaring Steps. But every story has a beginning, and Dwellin has all that to come. For first, she must survive the streets and the punishing industry of the Ashlands. Recounted by Dwellin herself, Somebody Has To Be The Dark Lord is a tale of how the chosen one's path does not always lead to light, but to darkness instead. A mix of Renaissance-era Mediterranean fantasy, dark humour, mystery and magic-filled action, Somebody Has To Be The Dark Lord is a journey to a different kind of greatness. [Releases every weekend. Putting the lives of the entire galaxy on the line, BAIL ORGANA entrusted the delivery of those plans to his daughter, Princess LEIA ORGANA. The fate of the galaxy and the balance of the FORCE are irrevocably changed as the Princess of Alderaan learns the true nature of the DARK SIDE.... (This story is a complete reworking of the entire Original Trilogy. I'm going to be borrowing material from both canon and legends because of it, but everything prior to A New Hope, including Rogue One and the Clone Wars, is all taken as true. This will be the first book in a trilogy I'm hoping to make, so stay tuned or leave some comments if you have any ideas on how I can improve!)

His Trophy | Jerome Valeska
"Oh and Jim, Jim Gordon?" Jerome peered into the camera as if to yell out to an audience: "I have Rory here," he turned the camera towards Jim's daughter and revealed to the audience a girl that had been beaten and tormented, she was gaged and her eyes didn't look at the camera but above the lens; at Jerome who was holding the camera."Say hi to Daddy, doll face," he jeered from behind the camera. She looked down the lens and shook her head as if to tell Jim not to try. The camera went back to Jerome."She's a beauty isn't she, Jimbo," Jerome smirked into the camera, his laughter becoming harsh and wild: "and she's all mine, you try anything, and I mean anything, I kill her. She's my prisoner, my reward, and you're not taking her away from me Jimmy boy, on no, not this time" his words were spoken through waves of laughter.***Rory Gordan is the stepdaughter of Jim Gordon. Her mother moved a lot so Rory was born in Gotham City but raised in England and from the age of 10 she had been bouncing from one country to another with her mother. However, when she turned 17 she had grown tired of the constant change of moving and decided to move to America. It was when she was visiting her long term boyfriend when her life got flipped upside down, not only did she meet one of the craziest boys on the planet, but she discovered that she had a gift that would curse her forever. This story is a collection of scenes rather than a flowing plot, so its chronological but it skips scenes and jumps back and forth between different perspectives. The story is under editing, so it'll get more cohesive over time.••• I do not own any characters or plot lines from the tv show. However, all original characters like Rory do belong to me.Total Word Count [33,674]
