《PSYCHO [COMPLETED]》Lay's worst nightmare
Advertisement
Lay wakes up to the sound of footsteps coming down the hall. Floorboards creak just outside his door, and a shadow creeps along the threshold.
The shadow lingers for a moment..and then a knock sounds at the door. For some reason, he can't explain, he stays quiet, hoping whoever is outside will just move on..
..but knowing, deep down, that it won't.
"Hey, you! If you think you are scaring me, then let me tell you !" Lay roars with an angry voice.
The knocking sounds again, harder this time, his teeth vibrating with each fall of the visitor's fist upon the door.
The door starts to bend and crack, the wood splintering inward until finally the door flies off its hinges.. and a silhouetted figure looms in the doorway, wreathed in fire.
"Don't you hear.."
The raspy voice begins to speak words.
The figure draws closer, the flames spreading through the room, choking the air with smoke.
"Don't you hear how much I plea you to go in ?"
Lay puts up guts and speaks back,
"What's your problem with me?"
"I don't have any problem with you or sehyun. I have problem with that wicked pathetic girl.. "
"Are you talking about.. ?"
"Yes.. thats what you call her."
Lay, clueless of whatever's going on, decides the first thing he needs to worry about.. is how to make him go. In a strong voice he procceeds,
"Listen I can't go there. Leave me alone."
" the voice gets angrier.
The figure stretches out his arm, his hand closing around Lay's throat. Lay grabs his forearm and watch in horror as the flesh sloughs off, the fat crackling and burning beneath Lay's hands.
"Oh my gosh, what you!?" Lay manages to speak out somehow.

"made me this way. I will take revenge on all of you."
"Who is he? And why me? Why are you doing this to me every single night?"
A blistered strip of skin falls onto his bedspread and burns away, leaving nothing but ash behind.
One of the many flames burning the skin fells right in Lay's blanket. He clinches and closes his eyes, unsure if he will survive. The flames get higher, closer and closer.. until Lay is sure he has no chance of surviving this hell.
Suddenly feeling a cold breeze, he slowly opens eyes.
The heat slowly decreases and things get back to its previous condition like it is being reversed.
Lay desparately gulps lungfuls of air, the sheets gripped tightly in his balled fists.
Lay grabs his phone off the nightstand and dials a number.
"Seulgi, it's Lay.. I need to talk. Now."
"What happened Lay?"
"I- Its just- It's getting worse everynight and I cant hold onto this anymore."
"YOU HAVE TO! You promised.. Lay but- What is it about?"
"You know what? It's about time I reveal this secret. I need to get rid off this. I need to meet up everyone and talk."
"Well.. let's meet up in the coffee shop? I will be calling Luhan and others too then."

A Universe of Bloody Evolution
The Void was never meant to be opened to the Multiverse. The horrors waiting inside it should have never seen the light. And yet, the biggest mistake in the history of creation led to the impossible. In an event later known as the Outbreak, gates appeared in the first Universe, and with them, the Void was free. For ages the Void destroyed universe after universe, spreading its power in every direction, leaving only death and pain behind. But before every Universe met its end, it still had a chance. A small part of the population that survived the initial Outbreak and was granted a mysterious System to help them fight against the dangers that came from the Void. They were the Multiverse's last hope even if they couldn't stop the collapse of their own world. And so the cycle continued until the 36th Outbreak came. Leo Hale, a young reporter from Wolford, was one of the lucky ones to survive when the majority of Earth's population turned into monsters straight out of nightmares. Thrust into a constant battle for his life, Leo was determined to push forward and find his remaining family. Even if it meant sacrificing what was left of his humanity. After all, you either adapt or die. Story of progression and evolution with my take at the post-apocalyptic genre. Unlike most monster evolution stories where the monster rushes to gain human form, here I plan to do something quite the opposite. After all, in a world where almost everything wants to kill you, being human can be hard. Warnings are here to give me the freedom to write whatever is necessary. This is my first original novel. Also English isn't my native language so any feedback is welcome. Remember that even if initially this story takes place on Earth, fictional places, streets, etc will appear. Release Schedule: Monday - Wednesday - Friday Average chapter length: 2000-2500 words (There might be exceptions as is the case with some of the first chapters - most of them are longer.)

Author's Rant
Just a disclaimer, this is not and never will be a story. I just, noticed I have a bad habit of wanting to rant in my author's notes, and have decided that, instead of accidentally doubling the length of each chapter with the author's note alone, I will shove those long-ass rants here. It might contain spoilers for my stories, as I usually wind up ranting about different parts I'm writing. So, if you actually enjoy my rants...well, firstly, what is wrong with you? Secondly, welcome! Time to figure out what tags to stick on this. Also, as of the second chapter, I have decided to shove some of my story ideas here. So if you enjoy half-baked, unfinished stories, then I got those too. I think that adds that short story tag?

"Elves of the Northern Vale" A Tundrawolf Story
As happened many times in the past the Fell Ice once again charged down from the north and attacked the world in its effort to turn it into a frozen ball of ice. Only the White Magic and it's ally the Sun could stand against such a vast enemy. From their home in the Valley of the Sun the great tribe of Elves could only watch as the monumental fight unfolded. As the battle intensified and the valley became threatened the tribe separated back into their four original tribes and each made their way back to their ancestral homes. Within their Vales, behind thick stone walls and under powerful domes of magic, they were protected from the onslaught upon the earth. The Elves watched for thousands upon thousands of turns as the war raged overhead. The Fell Ice against the Sun and the White Magic were locked in a struggle lasting for an age, with neither side claiming victory as the earth was ravaged. In time the Fell Ice retreated, as it had so many times in the past. Beaten, yet not defeated, only biding it's time for the next attack. It returned to its frozen Kingdom at the Top of the World, thus ending this last Age of Ice. This time, as the earth warmed around them, the Elves remained secluded from the world in their hidden Vales. They observed from afar life returning to the lands and took stock of man becoming the dominant ones as their numbers grew and spread. As the Elves watched they felt safe and secure in their Vale strongholds. They had no idea of the danger that was about to befall them. This is a stand-alone sequel to my story "Druids Bane".
